Hey guys. If you're in the area, drop in to see Mandy at the Kangaroo Haven wildlife sanctuary for an unforgettable, heart-melting afternoon. 🦘☺Here's her details > www.kangaroohavenwildliferescue.com.au/ Safe travels! x
Loved this vid kidz👍. The Ord River really ‘gorgeous’, coldies in the rain 🍻and those cute joeys! Epic days on the road and touch n’go moments river crossing. You captured the adventure (journey of uncertain outcome) wonderfully! Can’t wait for all the WA tales. DadinaVan Shrimpy
Thanks Mark 👍 we didn't show it in the video but Mandy stitches faux pouches out of fabric, and the baby roos nap in them like a hammock. Too cute. Hopefully talk soon! x
How good is this episode! Britain to Oz ..darling you must be loving the the stuff that Australian travel throws at you. Looking forward to seeing your next adventure on the road
Nice. Did Lake Argyle to Kununurra in a porta-boat once and it is a beautiful stretch of river. Some narrow spots a little further down from where you were, where the current really picks up and would make paddling back very challenging.
Oh yeah? How long did it take? Yeah we got up as far as the start of the rapids and had to paddle pretty hard to get back from that. Definitely a one-way journey to Kununurra would be the way to go 🤙🤙
We were staying in camp and hit up the pool many times - you'll see our morning sunrise swim in the previous video :D what an epic spot! 🥰 We're a bit ahead of our travels so have already made it past Broome. We did have to bomb down the coast to see Duncs dad so a trip back will be on the cards at some stage, so will hit you up for sure! Would love to do a good few months in this area.
@@IfNotNow No worries, We spend a few month there and there are sooo many cool places. Just need to be there at the right time as the weather can be annoying ;-) Enjoy guys
Did you ask the locals about Salties in the Ord before Kayaking🫣? We were there in 2017 and there was a croc trap just down from the weir and staff at Lake Argyle said they had 2 big salties in the area on Ord River
WHHHHAAAAAATTTTTT?!?!! 😂 From memory we checked with someone at the caravan park and they said go for it... hopefully the salties had moved on 😳 close call!

Appreciate that, thanks!
Fabulous vlog again. And nice leisurely paddle today and a couple of good storms. What a region.
Thanks legends 👍 Isn't it just epic. Lake Argyle is on another level 🤩
