I Love Donald Lawrence so much . I’m a music education major, I study music, write, and do anything dealing with music. I wanted to quit so many times. I’ll never forget the one time I made up in my mind that I was gonna quit. I lose my job, my cars, my only bestfriend walked outta my life , I found out that my mom had cancer, everything that could go wrong , all went wrong at one time. Then I heard a voice telling me to turn the radio up. I heard the song Giants by DL AND Tri city. It’s a verse that say “Giants do fall the bigger they are the harder they fall”. I immediately began to cry, it wasn’t a sad song but it was the way God spoke to me through the song. Everything I was going through, was my GIANT. But when I began to pray and I mean pray to God, those giants started falling. Lol here it is 3 years later, my mom is cancer free , God has blessed me more than I expected. lol this is why I love Donald Lawrence so much . Great writer!

Hi Angie! I believe he says it in the song that past hurts can leave you with holes if not completely surrendered to God. He can not fill areas you don't allow Him to. This is why deliverance is needed, to break those cycles, those broken areas and old habits so they don't keep returning and stumbling your walk.

No, Goshen was not a place of peace. That's why Moses was sent to lead the LORD's people out of Goshen/Egypt. It was a time of turmoil and slavery, hardship, idolatry and abuse. There was no peace or deliverance would not have been needed. The truth is, if you looked at ancient maps, you'd see how tiny Goshen was. There was no room to even bury the dead. It was quite a distance even from water (Nile) The Isrealites werent even allowed to deal with dead bodies. It was forbidden. Numbers 19:11KJV Exodus 12:37KJV. The dead was the dead and people of the LORD are people of life. The dead was unclean and the bodies defiled the people. So, they had to burn the dead because there was no room to bury them. Even Pharoah's army was out manned b/c of the amount of people and pharoah feared an uprising and ordered the the Hebrew boys be killed at birth. Exodus 1:22KJV. 600,000 people left with Moses on that journey of deliverance. So, no, Goshen was a place of torture for GOD's people. They didnt even know the LORD period. Moses was in the wilderness worshipping his tail off in Spirit and in Truth. Glowing his tail off and they didnt even know what that was because the Hebrew at that time were paganist. That's why the LORD repeated SO many times in the Pentetuech that there would be NO other gods before HIM. That idoltry would be strictly prohibited. Moses had to cover his face because of tgeir lack of understanding. Moses face glowed because he had the Gift of Life/Holy Spirit. And yes, the Gift of the Holy Spirit was given during those days. Genesis 2:7KJV. If you would read up, (Genesis 2:5KJV) the LORD needed someone with enough wisdom to till the land. No one had enough wisdon to know that if you eat up the fruits and vegetables, your gonna go hungry if you do not sow more food.
