They will get away with it, just like they did with Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Syria, and Libya. I'm so tired of the endless propaganda, bias, double standards, and gaslighting. We see it over and over, and yet nothing changes. Meanwhile, so many people remain completely unaware of what's really going on. How can we better inform the uninformed? We need to keep exposing past lies, the double standards, and the biased media coverage of wars like Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and Syria. We need to provide as much context and proof as possible. What we need is an independent platform-something like a combination of an AP archive, Wikipedia, and UA-cam-where people can access comprehensive context and proof about the truth behind these conflicts. It should be a platform that's hard to censor, especially as social media becomes more restricted, particularly with certain political figures and allies in power. It needs to be an alternative to mainstream media that shows all the evidence available, especially on topics like Palestine, Syria, and Lebanon. We can’t afford to repeat the same ignorance we saw during the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. That ignorance cost lives and wasted precious time. Shockingly, many people are still completely unaware of the atrocities in Gaza-atrocities that have been happening long before October 7th. They only see what the mainstream media shows them: headlines and censored content from platforms like Google and UA-cam. It's going to get worse with corporate control, political agendas, and AI-driven censorship. We need to expose the truth and show people how misleading the mainstream media talking points are. If they’re willing to ethnically cleanse Gaza, they’ll do whatever it takes to hide the proof. We must document everything: life in Palestine before 1948, the Nakba, the rhetoric of Israeli politicians over the years, every double standard from both U.S. and Israeli politicians, every war crime, every video of IDF soldiers before and after October 7th, every power-trip video. We need to archive everything. This archive would serve as a valuable resource for future generations, making it easier to inform people with solid proof. It would also make the work of the International Criminal Court (ICC) easier by providing a comprehensive record. Imagine if, ten years from now, someone wanted to search for a journalist like Piers Morgan or a politician like Ritchie Torres. They could easily access all their past statements, interviews, tweets, and everything they’ve said or done-fully documented. The idea is to build a platform where students, activists, journalists, and others can collaborate to preserve history and context. By doing so, we can counteract the misinformation and disinformation that dominates mainstream discourse. We need to break down every talking point and misconception, such as why Palestinians don’t just leave Gaza, or why Arab countries haven’t taken them in. People need to understand that Gaza’s people don’t want to leave, and we have to stop destroying their land on purpose. This platform would also help people understand the historical context of events like the Nakba, including which countries were complicit and which genuinely tried to help. We could track everything: who grifted, who played the public, who supported Israel, and how the media manipulated narratives in real-time. It’s about seeing the full picture, and most importantly, seeing the patterns that are emerging right now. Imagine if we had something like this for the Iraq War, the Afghanistan War, or the Libya war. It would have allowed people to recognize the media’s bias and see the patterns in how politicians pushed these wars. We’d be able to understand the full context and see how the media and politicians were complicit. This kind of platform could wake people up to the truth and help them see through the propaganda. We need something similar now. A platform where all the proof, all the context, and all the history are laid out in one place. It would be a massive resource for informing the public and bypassing the mainstream media. The more people get involved in this idea, the better. Encourage everyone to save and document any proof or context they find. It’s crucial, especially in these times. Every piece of information matters. We can’t afford to repeat the ignorance of the past. That ignorance has already cost so many lives. We need as much context and proof as possible to ensure that when people look back, they have the full picture. And when the next crisis happens, we can’t afford to let people be ignorant again. Please share this idea and encourage others to do the same. Together, we can make a difference.
The people who are more concerned about the syrian rebels than the US having oil fields and farming facilities in Syria tranquilou .... The US is like: "pretend I'm not here and all this mess isn't my fault."
Let me tell you the missing part. Turkey conducted three military operations in Syria and lost many soldiers. The opposition and Turkish soldiers fought together. It created the regions on its border - Elbab, Adrin, Azaz, Jarabulus, Tel Abyad, Ras al-Ayn - by shedding blood. And those places became partially safe zones for refugees. Turkey took responsibility for both protecting the security of the country and creating a safe area for people living in Syria at the edge of the border. The Idlib region was already in the hands of the opposition. It played a major role in preventing it from falling under the attacks of Russia, Iran and the Assad regime. In 2020, when Idlib was about to fall, it organized Operation Spring Shield. While the opposition had suffered great losses and retreated, Turkey did not withdraw its military bases in the region to protect the 4 million people living there. It lost 33 soldiers and then carried out a very effective operation with UAVs and crushed the regime army. Then they made an agreement with Russia and declared Idlib a de-escalation zone. Of course, the regime continued to violate the agreement again afterward. Turkey has always been by the side of the Syrians for 13 years. It has accepted approximately 4 million refugees inside Turkey. It has ensured the protection of approximately 5 million refugees inside Syria right next to the border. It has always helped with its institutions to provide infrastructure and services in those regions. We have had hundreds of people die from suicide bombings by ISIS and PKK terrorists who entered the borders. I am very happy that the opposition has finally achieved such a victory. insaallah all the suffering that the Syrians are going through will come to an end. We cannot thank Allah enough.
My advice to the Syrian people: Don't make the same mistake that the Iraqis, Libyans, Tunisians, Egyptians & Sudanese made. They got rid of their dictators but ended up getting worse dictators who are not Anti-Israel.

Mashallah, you managed to capture and condense the events of the past years very concisely, showing a deep understanding and an artistic touch in your summary.
Great job explaining the hell fire that has erupted in Syria. Unfortunately it does not seem like its going to get better with Assad gone, there has already been sectarian violence.

He shouldve listened to his people all the way back in 2011 when the protests first erupted. I dont like king of jordan but he did major changes and changed the constitution of jordan and made many other concessions to jordanians during Arab Spring which allowed him to stay in power. Bashar thought he could just kill and destroy everyone that was against him.
Wow, thank you for all your hard work! This really clarified so much confusion. With so many nuances, you managed to summarize the conflict impressively and efficiently. May Allah Almighty preserve the celebrations of the Syrian people. Also, the Donald Trump icon lightened the mood 🤣
Great explainer on what happened in Syria. No bias either. I'm sure many, like myself, were baffled by the collapse of the Assad regime in mere days. Thanks for helping to clarify recent events.
Remember in brave heart when that guy was like “lets go home lads, im not dying for these bastards” ? Except this time there was no magical speech to stop them from leaving.
There should be no foreign intervention in the Syrian conflict at all, whether in support of the Assad regime or in support of the Syrian opposition. Only the Syrian people should handle the affairs of their own country & only they have the right to choose their leaders.
thank you, was always confused with the various rebel factions. i feel like assad shouldve accepted a deal with turkey so that the syrian gov will be intact, while absorbing the rebels into the gov. bit like how the lebanese civil war had ended, hezbollah being a part of the lebanese gov
It wouldnt have worked. Too much bad blood with how many Assad killed. The best course of action wouldve been to make major concessions and constitutional reforms in 2011 zwhen protests first erupted just like Jordan did. But then thats like expecting Hitler to just keep his gains and not invade Poland.
Assad may be gone but the fighting in Syria hasn't stopped, which it should. I'm happy that dictator is no longer in power, but I'm also worried that there will still be problems in the country. It'll take decades to rebuild Syria & improve the situation there.

Why do you the Syrian stood down at Homs and Hama? Was it a lack of morale and the offering of amnesty by HTS that Syrian soldiers to defect individually, or did they receive orders from high ranking officers and the Iranians who decided it was best to avoid a hopeless battle so long as certain Shia holy shrines would respected?
Alastair crooke says Syrian soldiers were getting $7 a month. After 12 years and low pay, they just didn’t have much fight in them. There’s no evidence of this yet but it could also be bribes. $7 isn’t hard to beat.
