Aaron Rodgers is right. People do need to pump the brakes on this whole Stroud/Young thing. People are making this out to be Sam Bowie/Michael Jordan 2.0 and it's just way too early to see it that way, especially given the huge differences in team management. There's little doubt that much of Young's trouble has been due to the current sorry state of the Carolina Panthers. Conversely, the Texans GM and rookie HC are both top candidates for their respective "of the Year" awards, and their rookie OC is likely going to be HC somewhere else next year. CJ Stroud's hot start is not the only thing boosting the Texans this year, and neither is Bryce Young's disappointing first year entirely (or even primarily) of his own making.

As a life long Panthers fan I totally agree this is up there with the Herschel Walker trade that built the Cowboys dynasty. We should’ve either drafted CJ Stroud or stayed put @ #9. Ownership pushed for the # 1 pick which was great but we had to give up too many assets including DJ Moore. We basically gave up CMAC , DJ Moore, 2023 #9 pick. 2024 # 1 pick, 2025 2nd round pick. All for Bryce Young.
Do you really think CJ Stroud would make a difference with that team. You have to be smoking. Let them trade places and see who has a better year. This is not even the coaches fault. There was nothing there before him or Bryce came so how in the world he thought it would be different. It's player saying they are not coming out because of bad teams. They need they stuff together before they try to recruit 1st pick players.
maybe they should investigate the owner of The Carolina Panther's for gambling deliberately picking people they know could cause The Team too loose. The players on the team have skills it's just that in this case they may have needed another kind of energy to rejuvenate Them.
Nothing would have been different, because CJ Stroud could not excel in that position that he would’ve been thrown into in Carolina. He would have done the same as Bryce Young Bryce Young would’ve done the same thing the CJ Stroud is doing right now and it would have been the exact same thing People wondering if it was reversed would it be better? It played out the way it was supposed to play out

It’s hard to predict who will better transition from college to PRO. Having said that, it’s even harder to watch the pick that you wanted bring more success to their team than the guy the owner forced you to take, and then fires you. Seems like a good owner or boss would hold themselves accountable for that choice and at least give the coach one more year. People need to stop blaming Bryce Young, he has no receivers, a non existent run game, and poor pass protection
An Offensive Line is a group of men who assemble on the line of scrimmage in a row which one snaps the ball to the quarterback and blocks while the other 4 lineman block for the QB as he drops back to make a pass.
You put an excellent quarterback (Bryce Young) on a garbage team with no weapons. If you put CJ Stroud in the same situation , it would be the same situation 🤷🏽♂️
I am glad Texans have CJ Stroud he is doing good for Texans Team
Why did he listen to the owner
The worst general manager ever, he was from the Cleveland browns and they have never won anything , we should of kept Rivera and should of never traded Christian mcaffery anywhere
Or if he hadn't said that at the press conference, I'm sure the owner knew he was going to fire him then.
You’re wrong and don’t know about football The worst! I remember the trade Dallas made with the Minnesota Vikings that kind of ruined, the Vikings they got Herschel Walker, but Dallas got everybody else.
It doesn’t matter who the QB is , you have to actually be able to block for the Guy, 🤦🏽♂️💯🙌🏽
CJ is him but he's not saving that Panthers roster
tepper is a problem but the oline is the main issue it wouldnt matter if stroud or if even brady was on the team the oline isnt keeping anyone upright young has shown when he has time he can make plays everyone calling him a bust doesnt watch the panthers games they just see his stats and blame him for everything
I been saying CJ stroud was the best QB in the draft since like 2022. I dont think bryce is even gonna be second, i think anthony richardson will end up being the second best qb in the draft.
Will Levis could possibly pass Bryce and be the 3rd best tbh
It’s been all of 12 games this should not even be a conversation right now
Pretty cool of the owner to take the blame for his coach.
Jury is still out on this 1, Young was on his back more often than not.
They would’ve ruined CJ Stroud if they did take him
As a life long Panthers fan I totally agree this is up there with the Herschel Walker trade that built the Cowboys dynasty.
They need they stuff together before they try to recruit 1st pick players.
cleanest fucking transition i've ever seen
i watched it 87 times before i realized it was on loop
Didn’t the niners give 3 firsts for Trey lance ?
No I heard that the Owners and His Wife wanted Brye young
maybe they should investigate the owner of The Carolina Panther's for gambling deliberately picking people they know could cause The Team too loose.
The players on the team have skills it's just that in this case they may have needed another kind of energy to rejuvenate Them.
As a Bears fan I say thank you again we got Moore n 2 top 5 picks this year. Moore is having a yr with us too
Nothing would have been different, because CJ Stroud could not excel in that position that he would’ve been thrown into in Carolina. He would have done the same as Bryce Young Bryce Young would’ve done the same thing the CJ Stroud is doing right now and it would have been the exact same thing People wondering if it was reversed would it be better? It played out the way it was supposed to play out
The Rams trading Eric Dickerson to the Colts was pretty bad . He was their entire Offense .
The Colts trading Marshall Faulk to the Rams was Bad .
The Saints Trading for Ricky Williams was devastating for years . They gave uo their entire Draft Capital to Washington for him .
The Chargers Trading Eli Manning to the Giants was Bad . CMC to the 49ers was pretty bad for Carolina .
The Texans were lucky they got this guy in the draft because now he’s hy having a great season as a rookie quarterback!!😅😅
If you swap both of them this year Houston with Bryce wouldn't have been no different if better Texans have better roster & coaching staff offensive line better skills players & defense put CJ with Panthers would have struggled
And yes, if I’m the owner, I might want to have influence, but once something like this happens, I’m gonna check myself from overriding the people I employee to make personnel decisions.
At least give the poor guy a break, his o-line is trash and he doesn’t have great weapons
It's year 1 . Let's wait and see lol
Naw AJ Brown was the worst. It sunk the Titans.
As a Texans fan that thumbnail scared me
Worst than the Brett Favre trade? I dont think so.
You said worst trade but talked about the coach
Depending on how bryce does in Carolina, it might be called the best trade of all time. Who knows
Tbh I believe Bryce is a good QB, his team is straight shit, no WR, no OL, no TE, no nothing
As a panthers fan from the beginning in 95 this is the worst time in panthers history
As a Carolina home grown I must agree. Smdh🙄
bryce young isn't a bad qb he just has no weapons to use so can we just stop the bryce young hate, also he has a terrible o-line and defense with his best receiver is A ADAM THEILAN IN HIS THIRTYS!
Tepper is destroying the Panthers
I remember when you started you had great takes and had good coverage, I never watch you anymore this video randomly popping up reminded me why
As a panthers fan David Tepper and his wife make me absolutely sick to my stomach
Ok, honestly, I’m a die hard panthers fan, and I hope that the owner gets somebody to buy the team next year, because, he definitely doesn’t know how to manage an nfl team.😂
Every trade is “The worst trade of all time with you”
He's a clown
@@tillitsdone ur a clown
Props on your editing skills, makes the loop indistinguishable.
All the QB talent in this upcoming draft it's crazy to me they'd give up so much for likely an inferior player
It wasn’t Bryce young’s fault though he just had a terrible team to work with
