  • Paint 1:35 face in 5 easy quick steps with Basic skin tone Vallejo paint and using some Gouache paint, which is quite a versatile paint. It can be re wetted and reworked.

Cheers, I know that feeling thats the main reason I posted it. I think it gives a basic method, that for me I can practice and experiment with. The Gouache is useful as it can be rewetted which helps with blending. Cheers for positive feedback, hopefully my other videos uncomplicate stuff aswell. 🙂

how did you manage that the Vallejo Basic skin covers you so well?😮🤔

Hi, I think I used a lot of gouache paint on these. With acrylic paint it needs to be diluted in water, then remove the excess of the brush, build up in layers. Cheers

How exactly do you blend the paint is it just with a dry brush?

Hi, yes thats right, you feather the edges with a dry brush so it doesnt hopefully stand out as a paint line. I find Vallejo paints quite good at this. Tried Tamiya on another project and it dries too quick. Hope this helps.
