Firstly, thanks Sir Ji for taking your time and making videos exclusively on Honda Elevate, i am also one of the Owner of the Elevate ( VX CVT).
I have one question here about the Wireless Charing, My Phone gets over heated some times when i keep it on charging. Did you hear this issue from others as well.
Secondly, as of now the CVT mileage in Traffic is a little concern , Does the Mileage increase after the Oil Change , ( 10,000 KM/ 1 year) ?

Well, my phone does not support wireless charging, so I do not have much experience with the wireless charging part. However, yes, I have heard about this heating issue of phone during wireless charging, but whenever my friends travel with me and charge their phone using car's wireless charger, this issue hasn't come up in my car. So, you may report it to the dealership and see if they can help with this.
About the second point of less mileage in traffic, I am also not able to understand the transmission or engine properly, the response of mileage is strange. Sometimes, I get city mileage of more than 13 with AC, and sometimes it drops down to 11 with almost similar driving conditions or traffic conditions. But there hasn't been much change after the service of 10k kms. May be with time we understand the acceleration better and get better mileage and performance out of our Elevate :)
It’s in the nature of wireless chargers to heat up a lot and has nothing to do with the car itself. Companies like hyundai/kia provide ventilated wireless chargers for the same reason. Hopefully major brands like honda will realise it soon and provide it as well. It’s recommended that you don’t solely rely on wirless chargers be it in your car or at home as battery health might get affected.

This is helpfull, I was facing same issue and recently observed the issue increased. I connected with the delearship and they suggested me to visit the service center to get firmware updated. I was intentionnaly not visiting because earlier they just re-setted the system. So now its clear that they have the firmware and we can get the system updated with latest one.
Also, did you any known get ambient lights and door damping done. Any review around it. I really dfeel the need of dampinf specially on rear doors.
Yes, the update is helpful. The issue is not fully resolved but still, it works much better than before. No, I have no clue about the ambient lights or damping.
Can you share the update version? I am doubtful that they upgraded mine

SSA Bhaaji.. I am 6 ft 3 inches and reside in Amritsar.. as you rightly mentioned it's a car that might be not so comfortable for tall car driver.. any suggestion if only from this perspective Seltos or any other car would be better as main driver from head room perspective?
My concern is "It should not disconnect at all".. are vehicles of other brands also disconnects in "interference zone" ? as mentioned by Honda while updating software..!!
Hi. Yes that's right, it should not disconnect at all, but as I mentioned in other comments as well, this issue of disconnecting is there in some other cars as well, specially the ones with wireless android/apple carplay feature.
Also, the update here is given by Alpine, as Honda Elevate has Alpine infotainment system.

One more thing lacking was the equalizer setting for music has default rock, beat, flat as per pre set levels. If we want to custom set the equalizer setting as per our choice we are unable to do it. I checked with SC, they gave me an app where we can customize it. The problem with app is we cannot save it. Once the app is closed we cannot reuse the same setting and have to manually set all equlizers. Its very disappointing. Have they updated this setting ?
I usually do not like to change much of these settings of music equalizer but yes, we can change the bass and treble permanently according to our choice. Other than that, i haven't checked for any equalizer update.
@@mubaraksandhu ok. im not talking about bass and treble. Other frequency settings. If you click custom1 in sound settings, it is not giving any options but asking us to use app.

@@Kkmanjhi that is provided by head unit company. Mine being alpine has DA remote 2. Check yours in about in infotainment. There will be a link or barcode.
Sir, do we really required extended warranty in honda products.
Plus if we take insurance outsides, does it impact while claim.
Extended warranty can just help in some circumstances, otherwise it is obviously not mandatory or required if one doesn't want it :)
Outside insurance should not be an issue during claim. I have no experience witu this though, as i have always taken insurance from agency.
More people are complaining about NVH bro. should it be an irritating facture while choosing elevate?
Hi, NVH levels are more than other cars, we cannot deny that, but NVH levels are not so high that they can affect the choice or purchase of Elevate, it is my opinion and observation. I took 2 test drives before purchasing Elevate, one in city and one on highway, nothing was a deal breaker for me.

Did you check with other car brand user? I tried to check with creta users but they dont have wireless android auto feature. I dont know any new such users to kmow if 5G is actually a culprit. If other car infotainmet system dont loose connectivity why alpine's?
Their claim on root cause(5G network) can be true as I have observed disconnection at fixed spots but need to verify.
What will happen after few years when 5G network will spread.
Yes, I often discuss this. My cousin has i20 and he also told me that the wireless connection disconnects sometimes. I recently had a comment of a Brezza owner and he also mentioned this disconnection issue in wireless carplay in his car. Seems like wireless connectivity has some issues in many cars.
The reason why Alpine's system loses connectivity is not clear, it is strange, but feels good to see that atleast they are working over the issue. This software update is a welcome step by the company.
We never know what might happen after few years, but for the time being, we can just hope for more updates to come if issues emerge due to technology !
@@mubaraksandhu just want to add one thing, I observed, when you are connected to Honda HFT, you can not turn off the wifi of phone, it seems its something related to this update.
I have not tried to connect other phone's hotspot while i am connected to Honda HFT. Although its not an big issue when some one is in car but some day one may need to use wifi while connected to Honda HFT.

Any new Elevate version coming up this year
I had a word about any latest version of Elevate with new add-ons or changes, but the representative said that there are a lot of rumors around but there is no officially verified information yet. So, as of now, there is no expectation of a new version, who knows it comes up as a surprise towards the end of the year !!
