Hey, bill you ever have a torch just suddenly die? Idky but over the past several months, ive had most of my torches die. Everything else has been fine. In my years of reefing, ive never had torches die for no reason. All my parameters stay in ✔️ i dont think i will be buying any more
I have, overall, they are harder to keep. I have lost some here and there, but they were in a colony of 10 plus polyps. They don't like change AT ALL! If you have one and it's happy, DO NOT MOVE IT! I've made that simple mistake, and just by moving, they decline. They do love a lot more flow than other LPS's. Do you ever send in an ICP? I had an issue last year, my Torches, frigspawn, and hammers were dropping. It ended up being a rusty angle bracket! On my Algae Scrubber! Why would they even use that on one I have no clue. I ripped it right outta there.
@billssaltwaterheaven it's been a while since I did an ICP. I may do one soon. I'm an LPS guy, and Torches were my favorite coral. But sadly, I think im done with them for now . thanx for the insight. Nd yes, I'm a raven 😃
@melaninknowledge3658 I get it. Corals are so freaking expensive anymore. It really sucks to lose anything. I have something eating my acans. No clue yet. I'm going to have to wake up during the night and see if I have a pest.
