i love rgg games but i always feel like most of them stumble at the very end- but the last few scenes in this game stuck the landing so fucking well, ill be thinking about that ichi and eiji scene for a long long time
Never will you find a more remarkable pair of self sacrificing heroes than Ichiban and Kiryu man. Fuckin wept at that end. Ive been binging the vods for the last couple weeks, what a finale.
The only times I cried at a RGG game was the ending to gaiden, and the scene with Ichiban carrying Eiji. RGG is hitting homeruns with these tear jerkers
I'm surprised with how many people suffered through the game, if anything this game's grinding is less tedious than ylad 7! I guess its cuz I played on normal difficulty since I only had to grind a little to get the abilities I wanted, even more now that all of the job abilities can be transferred into the main job of the character instead of a select few. So long as you keep ichi's team/kiryu's team buffed to high hell with the samurai job and with a defense debuff to enemies, its ggs. With ichiban specially when you use his ultimate with everyone's ultimate active, its basically a "buh bye" button!

Man, I couldn't hold the tears too when I reached the final chapter and the end.
With this the torch is passed. Kiryu can FINALLY stop fighting and focus on himself, his will is inhirited by Ichiban.
