Wow I am in love with your Swedish weaving. It's summer now is Oz, but I might have to try that next winter. It looks gorgeous! Also, congrats on your mfe SAL, so close, it's looking amazing! 🖤
The Swedish weaving is really easy and fun once you get the hang of it! My grandmother has made smaller pieces as well - you could make a table runner, placemats. She even has some small pieces draped over the back of her rocking chairs... lots of non-winter options! Hope you're staying cool... Thanks for the comment!
It does look cool, and it's pretty easy to do! I'm glad to be able to do it for her... I wish she could still do the work herself though. I know how hard it would be for me not to be able to do the crafts I love!
@@makingthingswithstring So true. We have to continue to be grateful the opportunities to do the things we so love to do. Have a great day, Kate. Let's set a date soon to have our stitchy online meet up.
I can't believe I'm almost done... so excited. Yes the weaving is really cool! Maybe I'll put together some tips and tricks when I'm finished and do a little demo...
I’m excited you’ll finish the project on camera! I will have to do some painting or something along with you. Nice spooky ornament! And great shawl progress!! I love the dark stripes on it. Gorgeous! I never heard of Swedish Weaving before! It’s beautiful!! It’s really cool that you are kind of collaborating with your gran on this! I am not tearing up about it. I swear! ;)
Really interesting video. Thank you for sharing the Swedish weaving, very beautiful. Happy Holidays🎄💝
