The "And now he fears even Santa Claus" post is actually from an incredibly disturbing science experiment. The "Little Albert" experiment was to see if phobias are a learned behavior. Whenever the baby played with a bunny, rat, or kitten, someone would hit a metal pipe with a bat to frighten Albert. After a while, he had grown phobia levels of afraid to anything small and furry. And, yes, even Santa's beard was a trigger now. No attempt was made to reverse the phobias.

Context for the elevator thing. This screenshot is from a game called OneShot. You are considered to be a god in the game's world, and your role is to guide the Messiah, that little cat person called Niko, and help them bring back the Sun, which is a lightbulb, to the dying world. The joke is that the character on the right, Lamplighter, is, well, literally sitting in an elevator with the Messiah and God actively watching them. The whole premise of the game is that you only have one shot at playing the game, and you can't ever play it after that (that's for pre-Steam release, which included the Solstice Route, and allowed you to replay the game in a different manner).
And now, for something dark and unrelated. The first version of OneShot forced you to play the game fully, from beginning to end, in one sitting, and without closing the game. Puzzles and walking and all. But if you ever closed the game, the game's title screen would change from Niko holding the Sun, shining in the dark, to Niko's hat and scarf laying on the ground, along with the broken lightbulb, in total darkness, with a distorted version of the title screen's music, and a pop-up window simply saying "You killed Niko.", followed by the game closing itself. I nearly shat myself when learning about this secret bad ending.
I'm glad I scrolled down to find another person familiar with OneShot. It is an amazing experience.

Since everyone's pointing out OneShot in the comments, I think I'll go ahead and also point out that 9:00 is a game called "milk outside a bag of milk outside a bag of milk"(a sequel to the game with the same title, except "outside" is replaced with "inside") and it's also honestly a really intriguing game

As someone who has also played through inscription I can also guarantee that the game was well worth my time and money

Day 3: The farm is well. I have given birth to my 3rd child, who has been named Jackie. Leah and Braxton are both excited about their sister. Alex and I have adopted 2 dogs as well, so out house is very full and noisey. We went to the market to sell potatoes yesterday. My sister has gotten married and will be having a child. My life has been surprisingly smooth and easy going lately, aside from giving birth. In the comment section, I have been telling Emkay my storys in the comments of their r/intern_funeral videos. I wonder if anyone will actually follow this story.
My grandmother sadly passed 3 weeks ago. Her death was peaceful, and me and the kids got to be with her in her final hour. Jackie had no idea what was happening, likely since she's 1 month old. We have been very sad recently. I sometimes wonder if anyone will bother to read this comment.
The dragon came 5 days ago. He blessed our crops, making them large and bountiful. All we truly need in the farm in the end. Society is pointless and will fall apart one day. Capitalism is a man-made concept, and is thus artificial. I have truly been pondering such a thought. The very idea that all man made concepts are artificial seems to make sense, but then you realize how many things are now artificial under such a rule.

To answer Robin's question about the messiah and God thing, it's from an independent RPG by the name of "One shot" you take control of a carboy/girl named niko, and your objective is to deliver a lightbulb that is also the sun for some reason
That comic panel in the beginning was an excerpt from a "dark" _Garfield_ graphic novel Jim Davis published. It's full of material which never made sense to put in the daily paper. Some people are freaked out about it for... reasons... though that's if y'all jump at your own shadow. It was just Garfield having a trippy nightmare for a few pages, that's all. I found a copy years ago at a book shop and found it interesting. Long time fan of the fat cat and enjoyed the _Garfield and Friends_ series on TV.
The thumbnail one is funny but is from a pretty common mistake people make when translating to English from Chinese. Chinese doesn't have multiple versions of the same word. Well, they do but not in the same way as English. They don't have verb tenses at all. English has many, run, ran, will run will have run and so on. Chinese ONLY has 'run'. The rest is gleamed from context. They also do not have words like a, an or the. So 'careful fall off cliff' makes sense. Its the word careful followed by _what_ you should be careful _of._ What happened here is someone translated the sign literally from a translation book or software word for word.

the image at 3:55 is of the extremely unethical little albert experiment, and the reason for him fearing santa was conditioning, similar to pavlov's dogs. he was conditioned to fear touching white fluffy objects by a loud noise playing each time he did. so yeah, it's kind of sad for this image to have ended up here considering what the kid went through

That one of the baby being scared of Santa is actually got a horribly sad story behind it. It's from the Baby Albert experiment. They basically terrified this baby to make him scared of everything to prove that fear was a taught response. Look it up on wiki, it's pretty sad.

It's from one of my favorite games you can buy on PC, and in that game you (the person playing the game) are the in-universe God of the world you're in, controlling the actions of Niko (the little cat boy) who's basically the Messiah of Prophecy destined to put the Sun (the ball of light he's holding) into the central tower of this world

So many people are actually point out the one shot reference for more information without spoiling too much.( I actually don't know how much information is too much because this stuff is in beginning of the game but scroll down for spoilers I guess)
The girl holding the shiny object (which is especially the Sun of there world that is also a lightbulb and if it shatters there goes their world) has been dragged out of her world that is really similar to ours and pulled into that one and she needs to save it so she can go home so she is the Messiah and you're also the God also the fourth wall is obliterated ( for example you being the god thing).
Actually Niko doesn't have a defined gender, so just outright stating they're female is misinformative. (personally I'd headcanon Niko as male tho)
