On the subject of the trailer, make sure you swap out those tires for the good years. Those tires will pop easily on you. Mine did within 1,000 miles. Also those brackets in the middle of the two tires that hold up the fender, put a bolt thru the top. Mine came loose and nearly took my whole trailer out.
Never seen or had a boat without a brass drain plug thru-hull. Would not want stainless in the saltwater continuously or on a week-long fish trip to the Bahamas. "Stainless" steel has vulnerabilities that you should educate yourself on that will help with the care of those particular hardware items. I like your boat and sure that you're getting a lot of "good times" out of Her. Thanks for the review.
Great review, awesome boat. Any thoughts on the helm master joystick option? Was the boat prewired for a trolling motor from factory? Thinking about ordering an ultra 265, which is the same hull. I want 2 screens and autopilot.
@@andreseds8351 It all depends what you want to do if it’s just for fishing I believe trolling motor it’s better choice if you thinking about charter boating you might need a joystick it will cost you 12 K more trolling motor wiring It did not came from the factory. If you’re going fishing offshore auto pilot definitely 2 screens yes.
Overall the quality of the boat it's good. I bought the boat back in february, we'll see overtime how it handles. Sea Hunt it's better than the competition for the price, that's my opinion. 255 Ultra it's a nice boat, good luck.
@@iburciot yeah I’ve been doing a lot of research. For the available options and price I like the seahunt. I want autopilot and 350 plus seating for the whole family but also for good guys fishing trip once in a while. So 255 checks a lot of boxes. Thanks for your input.
I love boat reviews but 60hours? You should be making a 500hr video review to see how it’s holding up. Seahunt makes a good “production” boat either way.
Thank you for this great review, I have been looking to buy the new 2025.
I have the exact same boat color as well 2020 model. Single 300. The boat has been solid since day one I have no regrets Sea Hunt makes a great boat.
@@christophermatthews8956 Yes I completely agree with you.
Thank you for the honest review!
Nice review. I have the same boat, but 2020. Solid and very dry boat and no major issues.
Really enjoyed your review. Thanks.
Thanks.
Excellent video! I was talking to the salesman about this boat today. I told him you need to make a 23 ft Gamefish for inshore/offshore.
@@chuckurso593 I agree a boat with the same layout they would sell them like hotdogs.
Nice review….this would be a boat I would buy like the 27 but I think the 25 would be great also
Good and through review!

nothing wrong with the stainless plugs at all. have had mine for years on my cape horn. and i go to bimini for 4-7 day trips regularly.
Great video. How does she ride compared to the last boat? Can’t wait to see fishing video.
@@VirginiaEngineer I will keep the previous boats to go inshore and definitely this new one to go fishing offshore
Thanks for the walk through. Quick question on the cover, was it custom built or prefab order and what is the inside height?
Thanks
@@charleswright5552 Yes, it's a prefab 12 x 30 x 13,6 high.
Can you post up the site where you got it, I am having a tough time finding on in my area.
Thanks

How is the boat quality overall? I want to get 255 ultra still debating on seating color. I like the brown and grey.
