I even started saving some of the hard plastic on some packages, like the front of doll packaging and I used the happy planner hole punch to stick it in my planner and I plan to stick my stamps on there so I have them when I need them.

I love how you organized and labeled your stamps. I have been looking for a system that I think will work for me and this is it! You even solved the dilemma of what to do with stamp sets that are different sizes. I thought I was going to have to buy many sizes of the clear envelopes to make them all fit. But, I hesitated on buying any because I wanted everything to look uniform. So thanks for the video!

ScrappyWife I’m going to use the system also but I think I would put the labels on the paper. To me because paper is cheaper than The storage envelopes if you need to change something down the line we could take the piece of paper cut the top off and still have usable paper or relabel it instead of having to pitch the story to envelope because the label stock but some labels come off easy so I don’t know it’s just something I’ve been thinking about but thanks for the tip I am a big color coordinator and this help me to decide to move forward

I love the colored cardstock idea. I have pretty much all my stamps in pockets like that, but all with white cardstock. The way I have them subdivided/categorized, it works fine for me. I also have dividers for each section/category of stamps that I made from cardstock, laminated, & added a label to. That way, I don't have to flip through my (ahem) rather substantial stamp collection. For my larger stamp sets (like 6x8"), I generally make my own pockets with a regular page protector & my Fuse tool. I'm generally able to get away with just having to fuse one side of the pocket, and cut it down to fit. Occasionally on those I'll have to reinforce the top of the side seam I create with a piece of packing tape wrapped around the side of the pocket so the fused seam doesn't come apart, but that's OK. For a few 4x8" sets that I really can't cut up, I just let them hang out of the top of the pocket. A tip for storing coordinating dies in the back of the pocket is to make/use an envelope. I have the We R Memory Keepers 1-2-3 Punch Board, and so just make small envelopes to hold the dies. But, if you don't have such a tool, a regular A2 size envelope would work as well and fit fine in the pockets. That way, the dies are contained, rather than rattling around loose at the bottom of the pocket, & I can just pull out the envelope when I need the die(s). Thank you so much for sharing this, Elisa! I think the only thing more fun than organizing is watching other people do it. LOL Take care, & have a wonderful day! :)

Thanks for such a great video. Love all the details provide. I have a question regarding the label maker. Whenever I print anything, I always have a good amount of space at the end that gets cut off and is wasteful. I noticed you didn’t have that, just a tiny bit in the beginning of the label. Would you happen to know if there’s a setting for that?

    • @ScrappyWife
