The Jungle Book was also great and I love Beauty and the Beast. But I a Beaty and the Beast Fanatic I read all the versions I can find and love most adaptations. Tv, movies, musicals etc 😁
I love when Lady Tremaine didn’t even finish her words at the end when she said “Because you are young, innocent, good and I..” she’s speechless because there is that burning guilt within her about everything that she did to Ella, that was caused from all the trauma she had dealt with. She knew she doesn’t have a decent excuse for what she has done to her, and I just like that detail that she tries to explain but she couldn’t, she’s evil but in a more realistically human way in this version of the film
This is the best live-action from Disney for me. Everything after this Cinderella felt like a quick cash grab instead of a classy, well-cared for retelling. Lily James and the actor who played her father in this made me cry so much the first few times I watched this. Their relationship was beautifully portrayed in so little time.
Just fyi Richard Madden’s eyes are really blue, but director Kenneth Branagh has a thing for playing with light so usually his favorite characters in his movies have THE most blue eyes ever. He likes to emphasize blues in his movies too
Yes, the blue dress is not actually that blue irl! It's more muted. I love the emphasize on the colours in the movie though, so many times historical/fantasy movies have dull colours. It's boring, give use bright and colourful!
One thing that really stood out to me was how excited everyone was to be there. In the Blu-Ray there’s a whole thing in the bonus features about filming the ball, and everyone there was just so excited to be a part of it. No ‘updating it for a modern audience’, no stress trying to meet a deadline, just a bunch of people having a good time and doing everything they could to make the best movie possible. And that attitude really shows in the final product, which is always such a delight to watch.
I love that no matter how evil they were to her and how unfairly she was being treated in her life, she NEVER gave in to revenge or even thought ill of them. Her heart remained beautiful and pure. Her parents would have been so proud of her🥹 When she was talking to the stepmonster in the attic in the end, and she said ”Why are you so cruel?”, even then there was no trace of revenge in that question. Only her trying to understand how someone can choose to be so cruel, because in her world there’s absolutely no logic in that. But it’s like what a friend of mine once said: It’s good that you don’t understand (how they can be so cruel to you), because the day you understand them is the day you have become the same. And the ”I forgive you” in the end, she’s so full of poise in that moment. What a graceful mic drop! 😌🙌🏼 Wow this comment is long now haha sorry, but just wanna say that your reactions is always so wholesome and lovely. Thank you for creating such a cozy corner on the internet! 🙏🏼
I really liked what you said, I definitely think there’s a fine line between being completely pure and naive. She’s definitely just pure but I think understanding why the stepmother is the way she is (not an excuse for behaving that way) is not an indication of being the same, just takes a lot of empathy. If anything, Cinderella shows the most empathy when she finally understands why she is the way she is and as a result, forgives her. Sorry this was long as well 😆 I love talking about characters and their motivations etc.
@@thecocoacouch Yeah I see what you mean. I’ve always interpreted it like that Ella doesn’t understand how someone can choose to be so cruel (yes the stepmother has been through a lot of sorrows and losses in her life but so has Ella, and they chose to tackle that in completely different ways). And when I say understand I mean it in a wider aspect, like agreeing/understanding, if that makes sense? 😆 And Ella chooses to forgive her anyway, even though she doesn’t understand or agree with the stepmother’s way of thinking. And I think that really shows her empathy and strength. But that’s just how I think of it☺️ I like how people interpret things slightly different, it’s interesting! No worries haha, I too like to analyze characters. The better the movie and/or character, the longer one can discuss all the layers to them😅
I love that Ella called herself Cinderella at the end since as the fairygod mother said they used Cinderella as a name for her just being a creature of ash but by the end Cinderella had become her and symbol & power of her inner strength.
OMG! I actually never noticed that the fairy godmother appeared pretty much like the enchantress in the Beauty and the Beast, testing their users and their intentions of heart, to see if they're worthy of their magic. I want to think they made this to build up some kind of consistency or universal rule within their Disney magical universe, sounds really nice.
The Prince, Richard Madden as Kit those are his natural blue eyes! In Disney's original Cinderella her eyes were blue and her Prince Charming's eyes were brown. In this film it is reversed and Lily James eyes are brown for Cinderella.
In my opinion, this is the best life action version. Terrific acting and it doesn't change a story that much but just goes in a little deeper. Super sweet story!
This is one of the best Disney remakes! Fun fact: The gown Cinderella wore to the ball is thought to have cost $12,000 to make. The outer skirts were made of a fabric called yumissima, a very light, floaty, and very expensive synthetic material. Also: I'd be thrilled if you'd check out yet another version of Cinderella: there's one that stars Brandy, Whoopi Goldberg, Bernadette Peters, and the late great Whitney Houston. Look that one up! It's more a musical, but it's always been a favorite of mine!
I heard there were 7 different dresses. So for example, the one she dances in is a little shorter so she doesn’t trip, the one on the swing so she fits.. so forth ;)
When I was a child I used to have all sort of records of fairy tales. One of them was Cinderella in the original version. I did not know any other till I saw the Disney one much later in my teens. In this one, Cinderella actually planted the branch her father brought back on the grave of her mother, which grew into a small tree, by which she prayed and cried. When it was time for the ball it was the little tree which gifted her (3!) dresses for all three nights of the ball. One like the moon, one like the stars, and one like the sun. I always used to love that version as well. :)
Oh wow! Where can i read/see that? It sounds wonderful. My favourite was the ladybird 1970s book. She went to 3 balls and wore a pink satin dress, a blue satin dress (which was my favourite) and a silver and gold dress on the third night. I read that book every night for many years and i still love it!
This is my very favorite Disney live-action remake. I’m so glad you watched it! Another remake of the Cinderella story that is good is Ever After, which was made in 1998 and stars Drew Barrymore.
Fun fact! The actress who played Ella actually tried out for the role of one of the evil stepsisters at first! Crazy how that worked out, can't think of her playing as anyone but Cinderella though she is so beautiful and plays cinderellas character so well!
There are lots of things I love about this adaptation. One of them is "Lavenders blue, dilly, dilly" (the song her mom sang) playing when she walks down the stairs at the ball :) It's like her mom is with her in that moment :) Besides that, I love how the characters are presented here. You can see Cinderellas strength with the whole 'have courage, be kind". How difficult that can be. You can see her impact on the prince, who is a well written character himself. I love the little monologue/speech they added with the step - mother, them contrasting different ways to deal with grief with her and Cinderella. And of course the sets, designs, the score... it's a beautiful adaptation :)
Fun fact about the ballroom scene: they actually built the ballroom, lit candles for the chandeliers, and held full dances! They held an actual ball and put filming in-between. This was so the extras and the crew could have fun and experience such a magical world through their own eyes and so the ball's energy would feel lively and authentic. Even the behind the scenes are magical, which is why this is one of my comfort movies. It always reminds me, that no matter how hard things are, no matter how lonely I feel, it is better to have courage and be kind.
Another great reaction! This is such a beautiful adaptation of the tale. The scene with Kit curled up next to his father, looking so vulnerable, breaks my heart every time. It's moments like this that make this a very special film.
So because you mentioned it so many times throughout this commentary, I did just want to let you know that Richard Madden's (Prince Charming) eyes really are that blue. They aren't contacts 😂 Also I'm not sure if you've ever seen Cinderella 3: A Twist in Time but it's honestly my favorite animated Cinderella movie (the prince actually has a personality and he's hilarious)
I love love love this movie, I watch it whenever my roommate is gone and I have the apartment to myself. I get out the tv, put this on, open a bottle of wine, and then relax! Its one of my favorite things.
Most of the live action remakes of old Disney movies have been REALLY BAD, but there are some others that has been good, like "Alice in Wonderland (2010)", "Maleficent (2014), Dumbo (2019), and "Cruella (2021)." And this one too of course. 😊💖🔥⭐️
This movie is so beautiful and expands greatly upon the 1950 version. I honestly prefer this one to the animated 🥰 Oscar, I think you'd like both Disney's Cinderella III: A Twist in Time and Ever After, which is honestly in my top 3 Cinderella movies of all time! Highly recommend those ♥️
I've been enjoying your Avatar reactions, and it's even greater to see you watch my favourite Disney live action adaptation. P.S. Those are actually Richard Madden's natural blue eyes! They might've saturated them a bit with effects, but Sandy Powell, the costume designer, specifically colour-coded his outfits so that they would accentuate his eyes :)
27:34 this scene is referencing a famous painting known as The Swing (in French as "L'Escarpolette"). The original title is "The Happy Accidents of the Swing" ("Les Hasards heureux de l'escarpolette") and was painted around 1767 by Jean-Honoré Fragonard. Also, Richard Madden does have blue eyes... but not THAT blue (i.e. Frank Sinatra, Paul Newman, Chris Pine and Daniel Craig... 😅).
I think the reason the godmother is so quirky is that Helena Bonham Carter wanted to play her if she was like 70 thousand years old and just wasn't all there mentally. Very great job. Awesome movie as well.
I love this film! I would also recommend Ever After if you like Cinderella adaptations, that one has more creative liberties but it's a favorite for many. Also, there are 2 men from GOT here - the prince's guard/assistant guy is no other than Xaro Xhoan Daxos - a guy from Quarth who bled to let Dany into the city.
My absolute FAVORITE live adaption of a Disney animated film and easily in my top all time feel good favorites as well. Thank Kenneth Branagh who directed. Also, Richard Madden really does have very blue eyes, no contacts but possibly light manipulation. Great reaction!
An incredible masterpiece of a movie. It's completely timeless and actually I think improves on the original. The only disney remake to do so. Lily James is iconic as Cinderella and her chemistry with Marsden is great. But the most magical thing of all in this film is the very much practical blue ballgown. That thing is the most magical item ever created for a film. The pure craftsmanship, the hours that went into it and how it both looks and moves magically all on its own. They made it a smidge darker in post production but other than that there are no visual effects on the dress after the transformation scene is done. Thank you for sharing your experience with us!
The fact that this was the first live action adaptation is kind of hilarious to me. Because they did everything right; it doesn’t take anything away from the original and improves upon the story. It’s beautiful and joyful and magical. But every adaptation after this is just so lifeless. It’s kind of sad.
One movie I love is Ella Enchanted, its a beautiful movie with a Cinderella feel to it at the beginning. It has aspects of other Disney Princess movies, but it also has others like Fiona from Shrek.
This is a masterpiece, the whole thing is beautiful, the best Disney princess live action so far, they respected the original but made it make sense for modern audiences while doing their own thing and everything new they added made the story so much better, and that “I FORGIVE YOU”… GOD! That line made this movie so perfect, when watching it for the first time (or any time, it still hits me but in first watch) it really shocked me, cause knowing how hard it is to forgive and seeing Cinderella doing it after all, wow, and the fact they took and Disney allowed the risk to make it end this way, perfect just perfect. This movie along with Alice in wonderland and Maleficent are the best live actions Disney has ever released and sadly they will probably never make something this epic and magical while respecting the source, there are so many powerful lines in this movie it is just amazing how touching they made this story, they really put a lot of heart in this one. ✨loved your reaction 🩵
I feel the need to point out Richard Madden's eyes are actually that blue. They may have been enhanced in post, but he definitely has baby blue Disney Prince eyes.
As much as I adore how sweet, simple, and magical this adaptation is, my favorite version is still Ever After. I hope you'll give it a try someday. I think you would enjoy it, especially Angelica Houston's portrayal of the stepmother: she truly made it unique.
Angelica Houston is AMAZING in that role; she embodies one of those villains you love to hate, but is believable as a real person at the same time. As much as I love Cate Blanchett, this version of Lady Tremaine feels like a caricature (and not in a good way); she doesn't have a believable reason for acting so cruel in my opinion.
The strength and vulnerability it takes for Ella to forgive those who treated her badly. She still chose to take the higher road. Forgive and let go❤✝️
This is one of my favorite adaptations of the live action. And getting to see your reactions to it has been the highlight of my day. Absolutely love just how deep you get into the film(s) you're watching. Fun Fact: in the original story, that branch that touched her father's shoulder was from a willow tree. And she planted it, would visit it everyday and watered it with her tears, till it grew to a strong tree. P.s. loved the "who's that wonderful girl" singing
If you liked this, I think you would like Stardust, too! It's an equally magical movie and while it's slightly different from the original book/comic, it's still a breathtaking film! Also, the two main leads are both extraordinarily cute together and HILARIOUS when interacting. The way they bicker has always been one of my favorite parts of their relationship because it reminds me of my own parents, who have one of those fairytale relationships you see in the stories. It's also got an AMAZING cast and truly the acting is phenomenal!
I was around nine or ten when this movie came out, and at the time I was adament that I hated all things "princess or girly" but my sisters dragged me to this movie, and i'm so glad they did. I feel in love with it then, and nine years later I still love it. Ella was such an amazing rolemodel and the movie is a breath of fresh air. I will stand by the argument that this is one of the only good live action remakes disney has made. I really love seeing other people appreciate it as much as I do.
The prince's castle is modeled after the Dresden Zwinger in Germany, a palace complex with gardens that is now used as a museum. By the way: Greetings from Germany! I regularly watch your reactions and it's simply a pleasure! Keep up the good work! :)
I saw this movie in theaters late at night. We all cheered in unison just like you did when the prince showed himself at the end. It's one of my warmest memories as none of us knew each other but all united in happiness.
Hearing your commentary made me realized that watching the cruelty evolve over time made it so much more visceral and makes you connect with the characters more. Love hearing your thoughts at the end, well thought out and talking about the message of the story!
My top 3 live action Disney movies are Aladdin, Cinderella and Maleficent. They didn't simply get rid of the original message, they just showed it with another deeper meaning of that same message. Beautiful. Be happy and make someone happy
The way I gasped when I saw you reacted to this!! 😂😂 I’ve never clicked so fast I cannot overstate how much I LOVE THIS FILM!! Literally everything about it!! A true masterpiece in my opinion… and the way they humanize and give depth to kit is just… 👌🏻 perfection. That moment when they zoom out of that shot with him with his dad just 💔😩 I think one of my favorite things about this one is the way he is just gobsmacked by her, he’s like 👀 this girl is bonkers but damn I need more!! 😂 “lizards and pumpkins” 😂 and the casting, gahhh!! I’m so glad you watched it your reaction was a delight ❤
Took almost 3 minutes, 3 freaking minutes and we got emotional already 😂. This is probably THE ONE AND ONLY Disney live action movie that is well done guys!
I began reading the twisted tales books, Cinderella was certainly my favorite so far! “So this is love” Already read some of the others Edit: if you don’t know what the books are, it’s a “what if” different story from the original, Chinderella’s was “what if she never tried on the glass slipper”
You should definitely watch Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, if you enjoyed this live-action remake you'll love that one as well! It's a 90's musical and the music and cast is **chefs kiss**
They're three versions of the Rodgers and Hammerstein version. The original in black and white has Julie Andrews as Cinderella, there's a version in the 70s with Lesley Ann Warren (my favorite from childhood), then the one with Brandy. I personally didn't care for Brandy as Cinderella, her voice is too airy for the songs. I liked the rest of the cast though, I remember watching it when it aired as a kid.
Yeah, only magical glass slippers may be comfortable. By the way, in different versions they were made of gold and fur as well (some say that there could be a language-related mistake, but fur shoes are actually much more comfortable than glass, huh? And some kinds of fur are really expensive)
ahh this is my favorite movie ever!! i’m so glad u watched it. i have a tattoo on my back that says “have courage and be kind” what a lovely message to live by
Richard Madden (aka The Prince) actually has Blue Eyes. I am a new fan of your channel and am looking forward to more of your reactions. Keep up the great work.
I just watched this with a huge grin on my face and then sobbing. I loved your reaction! Cinderella has always been my favourite fairytale and I felt like this was made for me personally. It was/is perfection. I saw it at the cinema with my daughter and it was magical. Thank you for such a wonderful reaction video. ❤
This is one of the best adaptions of the story of Cinderella I’ve ever seen! The cast were wonderfully talented, and definitely committed to the roles! And I love the extra expansion on not only these characters, but as well as the universe itself. If you’re looking for more Cinderella related films, I highly recommend A Cinderella Story, starring Hilary, Duff, Not the Cinderella Type, Ever After starring Drew Barrymore and Angelica Houston, Nickelodeon’s Rags, as well as the 1997 version of Roger and Hammerstein‘s, Cinderella, starring Whitney Houston and Brandy Norwood. 👩🏼🦱🧑🏻🪄🕛👠🦋🩵💙💛🤍
I don't know if you'll ever see this but I just wanted to say Thank You. I was having a terrible trauma this morning which turned into a panic attack. I was desperately looking for something to calm me down and take my mind off everything that was happening. And I thought of your reactions and how I always look forward to them and how soothing your voice is. So I turned on this reaction, that I had never seen, and it took over my panic and calmed me down. So thank you. I'm drained but calm now. And when I get home from work, I will definitely sit down and rewatch this film. I had forgotten how good it is. It's funny that you keep talking about how kind Ella is when I think you are one of the kindest humans I've ever seen.
Mark 4:39 ESV or whatever version makes you feel better to understand the scipture verse.. 😊 this helps me with anxiety attacks, especially the passage of Jesus feeding the fuve thousand after His disciples didnt know how they would feed everybody, they trusted in they're own feelings of doubts and anxiety. Rather than trusting in Him💙🌷💌🕊who was literally standing with them in the flesh.
Its best to journal all of what you feel and think and leaving it at Jesus feet❤He is always taking care of it. Despite us being angry, frustrated, upset, going through heartbreak, mourning a loss or deep sadness. He's always faithful, we just have to trust in His ability to succeed, than our inability to fail. 💌🙏✝️🫂🕊💌🌈💗💜
This movie never fails to make me feel happy. It’s definitely the best of all the live actions by a landslide. I have a special attachment to this movie, so if I ever need a serotonin boost, I put this on.
I love that you watch a variety of different movies and can find something to enjoy about them all. As for this one, it's my favorite live action adaptation from Disney besides Maleficent. It's also my 2nd favorite Cinderella adaptation after Ever After. (I've got a whole list, there are so many Cinderella adaptations lol)
I am so happy you like this movie so much! This is the only live action I've liked, and I'm not afraid to say it's one of my favourite movies of all time! The message is beautiful and everything about it is just pure magic.
I do think this was Disney's best adaptation. Adding the meet-cute in the forest was really fabulous storytelling. The sparks are flying between the Prince and Ella before the ball ever happens. And Ella attends the ball, not looking to be a consort/wife for the Prince, to to reconnect with Mr. Kit, the apprentice she met in the forest. This adaptation makes me wonder what Kenneth Branagh who have done with "Beauty and the Beast" and who he would have cast for Belle (I've always thought that Emma Watson was miscast, but I'm okay with Dan Stevens as the Beast).
THANK YOU I don't even have to watch this yet, this IS the best Disney adaption. It's pure, wholesome, beautiful, and wonderfully cast. Looking forward to watching as soon as I have time.
Always enjoy your videos, they make my day ^_^ Would love to see you watch Ever After, my personal favorite of the Cinderella stories and one of my favorite movies of all time!
One thing I REALLY wished this amazing Cinderella adaptation did was properly paying-off what they set-up with the whole "Ella stays in the house because her father told her her mother lives on through it and how much it means to them". At the end of the day, those are all materialistic things. I wished they had her express the message in the end that she knows that her parent's loved HER and they would WANT her to leave behind the house to live in safety, dignity, and love.
It's not the best. This film is. Ever After is as period piece with Cinderella elements in it. It's not a fairy tale movie, and quite frankly it's not very pretty to look at either.
His eyes are ridiculously blue 😂 look at all the photos you can google, i never noticed it was THAT blue in gloomy game of thrones. So yea, this video is abit more true to life how blue his eyes are.
This live action was very good great casting and storyline like the things they added and changed Abit and giving more intersections between the two Cinderella and the prince showing their bond love grow the chemistry giving the prince a personality an actual character
The comments of the Grand Duke is more “sinister” with the deleted scene where he receives Ella’s note stating she would await him in the Forest Glade where they first met- and signed with her name -Ella.
Cinderella became my favorite princess ater watching the thirds Movie of the animated series and this live action. She show us how kindness can make a person strong
It's great to see you discovering how good this movie is. I went to see it with my mom when it first came out, and it was such a magical experience. I always thought the original was a bit boring growing up, but this was my favorite movie for a while for several of the things you mentioned. We had the chance to see some of the costumes from this film in an exhibit a few years ago, and I cannot stress enough how pretty Cinderella's ballgown and glass slippers are in real life. If anything, the sparkle they give off in the movie is understated. For some reason they color corrected it to a really saturated blue, but the real life gown is more silvery like the animated one, with lots of layers that give off various blue and purple shades that shift with the angle. It really does look like magic. So much thought and detail were put into everything from the costumes to the set design to all of the character relationships in this movie, and I think it's one of, if not the best, Disney remake.
This is my favorite disney live action!! Cinderella has always been kind of slept on but this movie brought more life to her character. It takes so much in a person to be kind always no matter the sitution. She is an incrediable role model! Because of this movie a part of my daughter's mantra in the morning is " i am brave, i am kind" Cate blanchet does an amazing job as a villian! The meet cute of ella and Kit is swoon worthy 😍 And i love the costumes!! Such a fun watch!
@@bicbiro1116 _Ever After_ is not a Cinderella adaptation. It's historical fiction with Cinderella elements in it. That's not the same thing. It's not even a fairy tale movie. It's too ugly and dull.
@@0deadx21 Okey bekokey let's call it a reimagination instead. I also don't agree that it's ugly and dull at all. You seem like you're having a bad day, so I hope it gets better!
Ever After is the best Cinderella adaptation. I wouldn't even say this one tops the animated one, but it's BEAUTIFUL to look at and the main romance was much better.
@@oliviarogers2808 It's not a fairytale movie. It's a Cinderella-adjacent film instead of an actual adaption of the fairytale. And there's no magic, the visuals and most outfits are not visually pleasing, there's random nonsense here and there, and the Cinderella character herself is Cinderella in name only, like almost all of them are.
I love Ever After! It's still a cindella story because it's meant to be an origin story. I would argue that it's magical in its own way. I mean c'mon, it da vinci!
out of all the live actions, there are very few I like. Cinderella (2015), Beauty and the Beast (2017) (absolutely love love this one high recommend! just for the casts, visuals and soundtrack), Alice in Wonderland (+ its sequel thru the looking glass), Maleficent (& its sequel!). (please please watch these six, won't regret them!) i don't mind the aladdin and cruella live actions (good in terms of soundtrack/casting/standalone) but not as remakes i'd say... all the others are, in my opinion, kind of bad.
Probably the only live action Disney that actually lived up to the original so far
It surpassed it by far.
improved upon it in my own opinion
It gave so much more depth to the characters and while thats an unpopular opinion, I'm really glad they cut out most of the mouse shenanigans.
The Jungle Book was also great and I love Beauty and the Beast. But I a Beaty and the Beast Fanatic I read all the versions I can find and love most adaptations. Tv, movies, musicals etc 😁
Richard Madden's eyes are actually naturally that blue. He wasn't wearing contacts. Which is stunning in itself.
I’ll bet they took liberties with those filters though 😂😂
They’re stunning
One of the reasons why I love him✨
Yes he's a beautiful man lol ♥
He hasn’t seen Alexandra daddario in Percy Jackson lol
Wow

I want to think they made this to build up some kind of consistency or universal rule within their Disney magical universe, sounds really nice.
They also look really similar. The film may be alluding to them being the same person or perhaps the same type of being.
@@Lyrazel Yeah, I totally felt that was what they were going for
The Prince, Richard Madden as Kit those are his natural blue eyes!
Brandy Cinderella was my family’s fave growing up!! Its a MUST!
I heard there were 7 different dresses. So for example, the one she dances in is a little shorter so she doesn’t trip, the one on the swing so she fits.. so forth ;)
Now is fascinating. Ah, movie magic!@@mistymane52
"Ever After" is really good, too. It's also a live-action where the characters are well-fleshed out. And the fairy godmother is Leonardo DaVinci.
I love ever afte as well as the Cinderella with brandy in it. She did such a great job!
The scene where she is alone with the prince at the ball is the most……… intimate….. scene in any Disney movie I have ever scene. 😂
This is my very favorite Disney live-action remake. I’m so glad you watched it! Another remake of the Cinderella story that is good is Ever After, which was made in 1998 and stars Drew Barrymore.
I agree- "Ever After" is another beautiful rendition to the story of Cinderella, def a must to watch
Best cinderella story ever!! 💕
Fun fact! The actress who played Ella actually tried out for the role of one of the evil stepsisters at first! Crazy how that worked out, can't think of her playing as anyone but Cinderella though she is so beautiful and plays cinderellas character so well!
There are lots of things I love about this adaptation. One of them is "Lavenders blue, dilly, dilly" (the song her mom sang) playing when she walks down the stairs at the ball :) It's like her mom is with her in that moment :)
Besides that, I love how the characters are presented here.
Few people catch that, I love the way they weave that song in in so many places throughout the film in subtle ways!
@@AreYouKittenMeRtNow Well, I only realised this through somebody on UA-cam, so I guess I didn't catch it either at first ;)
I love that as well
Fun fact about the ballroom scene: they actually built the ballroom, lit candles for the chandeliers, and held full dances!
“Someone give this woman a hug!” Was so precious 🥹
A beautiful adaptation. And a great heartfelt reaction.
Highly recommend those ♥️
Ever After and this movie are my top favourite Cinderella adaptions!!
It's Richard Madden, not Marsden
Yes! I like this one. But I love Ever After.
😂😂 I’ve never clicked so fast
I cannot overstate how much I LOVE THIS FILM!!
“So this is love”
Already read some of the others
Edit: if you don’t know what the books are, it’s a “what if” different story from the original,
Chinderella’s was “what if she never tried on the glass slipper”
This one is the best Cinderella! Well, this and the one with the Asian prince, Brandy, Whoopi Goldberg and Victor Garber.
This movie is pure perfection. I never cared for Cinderella growing up and this movie made me love her.
You should definitely watch Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, if you enjoyed this live-action remake you'll love that one as well! It's a 90's musical and the music and cast is **chefs kiss**
That’s my favorite adaptation of the Cinderella story. This is a very close second, though.
39:09 I really think that theirs step sister were happy for Cinderella and Kit. At least i like the final smile they made.
Hey, Coca Couch. The Prince is Robb Stark ( Richard Madden) He naturally has blue eyes, yes that blue
I think Lily Collins would play a good Belle she Also can sing
THANK YOU I don't even have to watch this yet, this IS the best Disney adaption. It's pure, wholesome, beautiful, and wonderfully cast. Looking forward to watching as soon as I have time.
This Got to be my favorite reaction of my fave Disney Live Action, your reactions are heartwarming and adorable!
38:42 Those are his natural Blue eyes sir!
I do love this adaptation. And at least Richard Madden's wedding here isn't a Red one.
i absolutely ADORE this movie, im so happy you watched and reacted to it💕
Always enjoy your videos, they make my day ^_^ Would love to see you watch Ever After, my personal favorite of the Cinderella stories and one of my favorite movies of all time!
22:05 Reminds me of the Duke of Weaselton. 😂
This is one of my very favorite versions of Cinderella. It's gorgeous and it has so much heart.
You should also watch "Ever After: A Cinderella Story", best adaptation imho. I love your reactions!
It's not the best. This film is. Ever After is as period piece with Cinderella elements in it. It's not a fairy tale movie, and quite frankly it's not very pretty to look at either.
I love that movie so much!!!
Or Enchanted. :)
I would rather watch, Enchanted.
His eyes are ridiculously blue 😂 look at all the photos you can google, i never noticed it was THAT blue in gloomy game of thrones. So yea, this video is abit more true to life how blue his eyes are.
His face when Drizella started “singing”. 😂
Richard Madden does have blue eyes
I looked it up and it was just few filming tricks to make them look a bit more sparkly 😆
@@thecocoacouch yes looking at normal pictures of him, it isn't very noticeable 😅
I like you said give her a hug, Thanks . I have ridden in similar Cinderella Couch At my cousin wedding .I had fun and felt like her.
Because of this movie a part of my daughter's mantra in the morning is " i am brave, i am kind"
Cate blanchet does an amazing job as a villian! The meet cute of ella and Kit is swoon worthy 😍
And i love the costumes!!
Such a fun watch!
" Ever After " with Drew Barrymore is a great one too.
Richard Madden really does have beautiful blue eyes, though!
Heck yeah😍😍
My day is saved.
I can have the baddest day, but when you upload a new reaction video my world is okay again. ❤
Now you also have to watch the other cinderella adaptation Ever After (1998)
OH my goodness yes! That movie and this one will forever be the most special adaptations.
@@bicbiro1116 I hardly remember much of that movie, it was that messy and impressive, but I do remember that it was visual nothing.

This is one of my fave movies glad that you did a reaction video on this 😊 stay cozy
i love how kind and genuine you are!
Ever After is the best Cinderella adaptation. I wouldn't even say this one tops the animated one, but it's BEAUTIFUL to look at and the main romance was much better.
Ever After is not a Cinderella adaptation. It's a period piece with Cinderella elements in it. It definitely tops the animated one.
@@0deadx21 it's literally called Ever After: A Cinderella Story.
(please please watch these six, won't regret them!)
i don't mind the aladdin and cruella live actions (good in terms of soundtrack/casting/standalone) but not as remakes i'd say...
all the others are, in my opinion, kind of bad.
Yes its one of or not the best ....Honorable mentions:
2016 The Jungle Book
2010 Alice in Wonderland
2003 a NON-Disney , 2003 Peter Pan
Have Courage and Be Kind! yessss my Favorite Reactor watching My favorite Disney
"look at the way he's going down these steps, mate - he's not desperate" i died laughing🤣

this and the maleficent movies are my favourite live action adaptations 🥺
I really love seeing your reactions and emotions while watching, they're so genuine!
Very glad you love this movie just as much as I do ! It truly is a fairytale and I love it
