Wow! Absolutely the coolest video! Love it that some of your friends got some Don the Beachcomber stuff for their places! Fantastic! They will be appreciated greatly!
@@Jeannified the new owners all asked to stay private so I couldn’t mention where they were all going (multiple parties) but I can confirm that they are all going to homes where they will be restored, loved and appreciated!
The ultimate score is still missing...The (2) White Fiberglass Shell Pay Phone Covers/Frames! I had asked Art about them & he said they were in the 'basement', but they never turned up. Originally in the hall entry by the bathrooms, these were epic OG tiki bar items. The Tahitian Lanai in Ala Moana HI had 3 of them.
Wow. I was engulfed in a tsunami of memories. I remember going to the Tiki Marketplace & meeting you, Adrian. So wonderful but surreal meeting someone I saw constantly on UA-cam. Thanks again Adrian & keep up the good work.
Do you know what happened to the Milan Guanko carvings that were parts of the waterfalls or the carved poles that were in the dagger bar holding up the hut?
@@adventurejeep5504 I was talking about those with someone the other day. I wish I’d wandered in there while it was an Indian restaurant just so I could peek into the bar and see if it was all there. I have no idea if they are still part of the building’s interior structure or if they were all torn out.
@@mikegrabowski7483 I didn’t disclose where all of the different pieces went because everyone that got something wanted to stay private about it. I think they are all being cautious about theft and/or jealousy. As a matter of fact, there was a little bit of a race on who got the mug cabinet first and another race on who got the merch counter. The person who got the merch counter is turning it into their home bar.

Dude! That's awesome you got the Don The Beachcomber sign
@@mikegrabowski7483 I actually scored 3 nice signs!
Too Cool...Thanks Adrian
Thanks for watching!
Cool sign you ended up with! 😎
Totally! It's huge too. I still have to figure out where to put it. I got a total of 3 signs!

@@RichArtLove I remember those from the Sam’s Seafood days! The holy grail for me is the Dagger that hung on the wall behind the bar inside a frame.

Thanks! Yeah, I was surprised this stuff survived. I'm glad it's all going to good homes.

Yep I would have snatched the sign or the Hostess counter
@@airtiki2374 yup!

@@ultimatemaitai totally
This episode gave me a hernia. You scored on the sign!
Thankfully I didn't have to haul any of that heavy furniture myself! But yeah, the sign is a total score!
There is a new don the beach in at pete beach fl but the latest hurricane may have closed it
From what I understand it's a total rebuild from the flood damage! Don't quote me on that though
@@polynesianpop my wife and i got to go in august i loved it
@@Bigpoppas2oaks I've yet to see it. I hope they're able to restore everything back to normal!
Who got the mug cabinet? I would have loved to have got one

@@polynesianpop Super cool. Completely understand not disclosing where the pieces went. Hopefully they all went to good homes. Great video Adrian
