I had an “aha” moment last week when I discovered the difference between a 2 wrap, 5L 2B and a 2 wrap, 7L 2B knot. Now I have to understand specifically why I get 2 less leads when I cross two strands vs. one at a time on the return down the knot. Perhaps I need to spend more time in the work book. Once I realized that any size Turks head knot is built from a series of expansions starting with either a 3p2b or 2p3b knot then tying them became quite a bit easier.

The second method by looking back and doing the opposite is missing in most books.
I find it much easier.
