I saw quite a few people asking about the ET-2720. I just printed the same color test sheet as this video on my printer and then with the ICC profile provided by Angie Holden. I have not pressed it onto fabric yet to see finished product; however, I noticed (as far as I can tell on a screen) identical colors and improvement of the printed image using the same paper and ink as this video but with the Epson ET-2720 printer. If they come out with an ICC specific to my printer I'll repeat this test with that, but for now I feel the ICC profile available is a definite improvement!
Searched the comments to see if anyone asked whether the ICC profile was to be in the RGB or CMYK working space for someone on Mac using Photoshop, didn't see an answer but figured it out. Once I download the ICC profile I changed the color setting in Photoshop to load it as the RGB profile. Works great on the blanks I tested on, I also love how a pretty big chunk of these comments have a response from Angie herself!! Thank you for the knowledge Angie!!!

I've downloaded GIMP and added my ICC pofile into this but I am still struggling on how to work this GIMP I've downloaded pic art ie stitch as my grandchildren love this. But I have no idea on how to change colours etc. I have learnt how to make a bg removeer on Google but when I print and cut my image looks great on the circuit before printing etc and when it prints out on my espon it is horrible no colours what so ever it is so dull. Do you have any suggestions at all please. As it would be much appreciated if so TIA x

Hi Angie, I love your videos. I have the Epson ET-2800 that I converted to sublimation printing, but I got LNKCOS sublimation ink. I have the A-Sub sublimation paper, but I also got the Make Market sublimation paper. I went with the ET-2800 because of cost, also the sublimation ink was less expensive than the Hippoo sublimation ink. I bought the sublimation paper when I originally got the Epson ET-2850 and thought I could use it for sublimation printing, but I found out that didn't work and I didn't want the hassle of switching the ink. I watched videos about the conversion and it looked complicated and messy, so I just decided to buy another printer and put the sublimation ink in and go with that. I guess I can figure out how to do the colour correction after I do a few test runs, but I wanted to try sublimation on mugs and tumblers and I got them from both Michaels and on Amazon. My Vevor tumbler press should be arriving by Friday, but if it's delayed, I asked at Michaels if I could use my Cricut Mug press for the doing sublimation on the 11oz glass mugs and they said that it should work. I do not have Photoshop or Corel (had them in the past on an older computer that had optical drives), but I wanted to hear your thoughts on the printer, the sublimation ink and the sublimation paper from Make Market.
I would NOT put glass mugs in the Cricut Mug Press as they have been known to cause that press to fail. Otherwise I think the printer should be fine. You can just press a few tests to 100% white polyester fabric to check colors.
This is a wonderful video. We just had a project where we were putting sublimation on baby diapers. When I did it, our mauve turned more purple. When I used the exact same sublimation on a regular "test" fabric, it turned out exactly the way it was to turn out to be. This will help me to adjust just a little bit to correct for the diaper fabric.

You will have to look on the Hiipoo website to see which ones they have now. You can try any profile with your machine though. It doesn't have to be for your specific printer.
Hi Angie, I know you're a busy gal, so when you have a chance.... I've been testing sublimation mug press printing and noticed the colors have been pretty dull, so I checked to see if I had the correct ICC Profile setup for my ET-2760 printer. Turns out I was using "Automatic" in Color Correction preferences instead of "Custom/No Color Adjustment." So I changed that and unticked "High Speed." I then looked and found a ICC Profile (ET-2760 Sublimation Ink) on the Hiipoo site. I downloaded and installed it, closed Photoshop, and went to change the printer profile in Color Management only to find another profile (ET-2720 Sublimation Ink 20211021). I haven't yet print tested because I've gone through so many cups already :( so I was hoping you could tell me if that ICC file should work. Also, I've been printing using RGB png files, which may or may not also explain the dull colors so I'm converting the files to CMYK jpgs. I should see a difference. And in case you're wondering about the paper, I'm using A-SUB Sublimation Paper Heat Transfer 110. Any help at all is appreciated, Orlando
I don't know which will work best as every single printer and setup is different. I usually test on 100% polyester fabric first though then move on to more expensive things once I dial it in a bit.

I converted an Epson 2750 eco tank, I used the Hiipoo ink and use the A-sub paper. I have been fighting with it to get a certain mauve shade in my daughter’s business logo, and it keeps coming out too brown! I guess this is my problem, the ICC is off. I’ll check for the correct profile and hope this corrects it. I do use only MAC computers and use Canva or Pixelmater program for my editing. Thanks so much for this video!
I am really really impressed with your videos. I am turning an Epson 2760 into a sublimation printer. I bought the ink and the paper that you had already described just the printer is different. I never even heard of an ICC profile thank you very much for the information if I have a problem I know where to get the answer 😀
Angie, thank you for your very precise and informative videos. I've tried all of your suggestions and simply can't get to my first sublimation project. There is no Hiipoo ICC profile for my converted ET-4800. I've tried the manual adjustments and can't even get close to the colors that I need (teal, especially). Hiipoo is non responsive about if and when the profile will be created. I thought the ET-4700 profile might work. Not even close. I'm ready to throw in the towel. Do you have any advice?

Thank you for all the great information that you share. I have an ET-2720 with Hippo sublimation ink. I do not use photoshop or Corel. I use Inkscape. I installed the ICC profile for the 2720 which I got from Hippo. My problem is that although I can select No color adjustment, I do not get the same options as you showed to pick the ICC profile that was installed. Do you have any advise?

Thanks Angie, I printed a license plate, and the colors were off. I reran your video, and somehow I missed the part about changing the "Automatic" setting the first time. I use Affinity Photo, and the colors came out great the second time. Your videos are great. Very detailed.
Hi Angie, thanks for all the great videos! I am attempting to install the ICC profile for my Epson 3760. I am having troubling opening it up on Photoshop. I cannot figure out how to get it to open it to install the ICC profile.
You can go to the Hiipoo website to see if they have one or request it. You can also try this one I have if you would like to see if it fixes any issues.
I have an et 2800 im having the same issue. I work on the road. So as soon as im under same wifi ill install. But mean while matte option paper makes it much more clear. But to make colors richer ill use the icc tool.
@angieholden Thank you Angie for the explanation on the ICC profile. I understood the purpose of the ICC frofile now, got that part. Yesterday, I did it using gimp. My question is... for me to be able to get the correct/true color, do I need to print from gimp/photoshop now? if I print from Cricut design space, It will not be producing the the correct color as if I use Gimp? So the ICC profiles only set up at Gimp, not on the current printer itself, correct? Thank you all!
Thank you for this! Took me a little time to figure it out on my Mac, but it worked! I use the basic version of the Silhouette software to print to my Epson ET-2720. The colors look absolutely AMAZING!

And then I had actually downloaded Silhouette as well so I can see the profile info when I tried to print.
I have the same printer but find that my yellows are printing with a green tint to them. I use Printers Jack sublimation ink and installed the ICC profile from Printers Jack but still not much luck with getting the correct colours. Did you install the profile that is mentioned in this video? Did you change any other settings for the printer?
Forgive me for being late to the party and for obviously still being confused/overwhelmed by ICC Profiles, but how does allowing Photoshop or Corel manage your colors affect what you print (for sublimation) in Cricut? Also, the link provided for Corel appears to be something called PaintShopPro. Did Corel change it's name or is the wrong link attached? Am I missing something?? Other than those two questions, I'm so grateful for your videos -- they've helped me so much and you have a wonderfully sunny disposition and honest opinions which I so appreciate. If only my colors were correct, I'd be a happy camper!

I really would love this file I know you said its dowloadable but after the 3rd hyperlink I did not feel safe is there a way to get it from your blog, the google drive from Sub camp, or any other option. I have spent 5 days trying to perfect my colors on ET15000 with Hippoo ink. I got it after what you would not believe jumps though hoops. I have even purchased color charts from someone but I can not read the numbers so useless PLEASE may we have this chart the reason is the size of colors and readablity of the colors/names. thank you for EVERYTHING you do.
Not sure what you are looking for? There is the file on my blog for the printer I have and you just add your email and instructions are sent via email. If you are looking for other profiles, you need to get them from the Hiipoo site and I have no control over that. I downloaded this chart to print so it is not mine to give. Sorry!

Angie ❤️ your videos. When you got your icc profile, did you work with Hiipoo Ink Co.? I contacted them for a profile for ET 2850. They want me to print with my sublimation printer, sub paper brand, and sub ink. Then I have to email a picture of that to a person at Hiipoo in China. If it is okay I have to send the printed sub design I printed out by courier to China, and they will make a profile for my equipment. DID YOU HAVE TO DO ALL THIS? Thanks for your feed back.
I use Affinity Photo which is (as far as the general population goes) pretty much the same thing as Photoshop and its a one time payment of $50 and upgrades are free! I love it!

What if I do not have the two programs? Is there a way to change the icc profiles? I did a project that was to have brown leopard and it came out very light brown. I am using and eco tank et2760, EZlink sublimation ink and I am not sure the paper since it came with I believe my clamshell heat press or maybe my printer. Your videos are always so helpful and I truly appreciate the time you take to share with us all.
The same procedure can be used for an Epson Ecotank converted for sublimation. The profile I have is for the ET-4700, however, you can try ANY profile with your printer to see if it fixes your issue.
I can only put the profile for the machine I have. Hiipoo has put several on their website. You can actually try any profile for any machine and see if it helps you.
You can check with your ink manufacturer to see if they have an ICC profile for your specific printer. But yes you can try ANY ICC profile with your printer to see if it fixes your issues. It doesn't hurt anything.

Yes, I did use photoshop. Colors were way better with the ICC profile when I put them on fabric. Very similar to the results in video

You will have to look on the Hiipoo website to see which ones they have now. You can try any profile with your machine though. It doesn't have to be for your specific printer.

I know you're a busy gal, so when you have a chance....
I've been testing sublimation mug press printing and noticed the colors have been pretty dull, so I checked to see if I had the correct ICC Profile setup for my ET-2760 printer. Turns out I was using "Automatic" in Color Correction preferences instead of "Custom/No Color Adjustment." So I changed that and unticked "High Speed." I then looked and found a ICC Profile (ET-2760 Sublimation Ink) on the Hiipoo site. I downloaded and installed it, closed Photoshop, and went to change the printer profile in Color Management only to find another profile (ET-2720 Sublimation Ink 20211021). I haven't yet print tested because I've gone through so many cups already :( so I was hoping you could tell me if that ICC file should work.
Also, I've been printing using RGB png files, which may or may not also explain the dull colors so I'm converting the files to CMYK jpgs. I should see a difference. And in case you're wondering about the paper, I'm using A-SUB Sublimation Paper Heat Transfer 110.

I don't know which will work best as every single printer and setup is different. I usually test on 100% polyester fabric first though then move on to more expensive things once I dial it in a bit.

I converted an Epson 2750 eco tank, I used the Hiipoo ink and use the A-sub paper. I have been fighting with it to get a certain mauve shade in my daughter’s business logo, and it keeps coming out too brown! I guess this is my problem, the ICC is off. I’ll check for the correct profile and hope this corrects it. I do use only MAC computers and use Canva or Pixelmater program for my editing. Thanks so much for this video!

I am really really impressed with your videos. I am turning an Epson 2760 into a sublimation printer. I bought the ink and the paper that you had already described just the printer is different. Angie, thank you for your very precise and informative videos. I've tried all of your suggestions and simply can't get to my first sublimation project. There is no Hiipoo ICC profile for my converted ET-4800. I've tried the manual adjustments and can't even get close to the colors that I need (teal, especially). Hiipoo is non responsive about if and when the profile will be created. I thought the ET-4700 profile might work. Not even close. I'm ready to throw in the towel. Do you have any advice?
All you can do is try different profiles until you find one that works.

Thank you for all the great information that you share. I have an ET-2720 with Hippo sublimation ink. I do not use photoshop or Corel. I use Inkscape. I installed the ICC profile for the 2720 which I got from Hippo. My problem is that although I can select No color adjustment, I do not get the same options as you showed to pick the ICC profile that was installed. Do you have any advise?
Going from Inkscape you probably will not get those options on a PC.

Thanks Angie, I printed a license plate, and the colors were off. I reran your video, and somehow I missed the part about changing the "Automatic" setting the first time. I use Affinity Photo, and the colors came out great the second time. Your videos are great. Very detailed.

Hi Angie, thanks for all the great videos! I am attempting to install the ICC profile for my Epson 3760. I am having troubling opening it up on Photoshop. I cannot figure out how to get it to open it to install the ICC profile.
You only install the ICC profile as I showed in the video. You can't open it.
Same Problem. When I don’t see it When I want to select the profile and it’s already in my computer so I think that it’s not working for 3760.

I have an et 2800 im having the same issue. I work on the road. So as soon as im under same wifi ill install. But mean while matte option paper makes it much more clear. But to make colors richer ill use the icc tool.

Thank you Angie for the explanation on the ICC profile. I understood the purpose of the ICC frofile now, got that part. Yesterday, I did it using gimp. My question is... for me to be able to get the correct/true color, do I need to print from gimp/photoshop now? if I print from Cricut design space, It will not be producing the the correct color as if I use Gimp? So the ICC profiles only set up at Gimp, not on the current printer itself, correct? Thank you all!
I have been working on a way to use a profile in any program but I don't have a public video on that yet.
Have they come out with a profile for the Epson ET4800?
They have some profiles on their website and are adding more.

You can use any ICC profile that fixes your issues so maybe try different ones.
Thank you for this! Took me a little time to figure it out on my Mac, but it worked! I use the basic version of the Silhouette software to print to my Epson ET-2720. The colors look absolutely AMAZING!

And then I had actually downloaded Silhouette as well so I can see the profile info when I tried to print.
I have the same printer but find that my yellows are printing with a green tint to them. I use Printers Jack sublimation ink and installed the ICC profile from Printers Jack but still not much luck with getting the correct colours. Did you install the profile that is mentioned in this video? Did you change any other settings for the printer?

Look to your ink manufacturer first for a profile. If you can't find one, you can try any ICC profile and see if it fixes your issues.

Forgive me for being late to the party and for obviously still being confused/overwhelmed by ICC Profiles, but how does allowing Photoshop or Corel manage your colors affect what you print (for sublimation) in Cricut? Also, the link provided for Corel appears to be something called PaintShopPro. Did Corel change it's name or is the wrong link attached? Am I missing something?? Other than those two questions, I'm so grateful for your videos -- they've helped me so much and you have a wonderfully sunny disposition and honest opinions which I so appreciate. If only my colors were correct, I'd be a happy camper!

Thank you for all that you do for our community. I really would love this file I know you said its dowloadable but after the 3rd hyperlink I did not feel safe is there a way to get it from your blog, the google drive from Sub camp, or any other option. I have spent 5 days trying to perfect my colors on ET15000 with Hippoo ink. I got it after what you would not believe jumps though hoops. I have even purchased color charts from someone but I can not read the numbers so useless PLEASE may we have this chart the reason is the size of colors and readablity of the colors/names. thank you for EVERYTHING you do.
Not sure what you are looking for? There is the file on my blog for the printer I have and you just add your email and instructions are sent via email. If you are looking for other profiles, you need to get them from the Hiipoo site and I have no control over that. I downloaded this chart to print so it is not mine to give. Sorry!

I just love your videos! They are my ride or die for this new crafty part of my life! I use Inkscape and Procrete for my designs but use Design Space for printing on a specific area of a page. Will I need an ICC for Design Space? I guess I need to understand if the ICC for each program?

You can try the profile for any printer and see if it helps the issues you are having. Otherwise, you will have to check with the ink manufacturer.

Angie ❤️ your videos. When you got your icc profile, did you work with Hiipoo Ink Co.? I contacted them for a profile for ET 2850. They want me to print with my sublimation printer, sub paper brand, and sub ink. Then I have to email a picture of that to a person at Hiipoo in China. If it is okay I have to send the printed sub design I printed out by courier to China, and they will make a profile for my equipment. DID YOU HAVE TO DO ALL THIS? Thanks for your feed back.
I had to mail in prints from my printer to China. It was expensive.

I use Affinity Photo which is (as far as the general population goes) pretty much the same thing as Photoshop and its a one time payment of $50 and upgrades are free! I love it!

You can actually try other ones if you can't find one for your specific printer. Try other versions to see if they fix the issue you are having.

What if I do not have the two programs? Is there a way to change the icc profiles? I did a project that was to have brown leopard and it came out very light brown. I am using and eco tank et2760, EZlink sublimation ink and I am not sure the paper since it came with I believe my clamshell heat press or maybe my printer. Your videos are always so helpful and I truly appreciate the time you take to share with us all.
I don't have a method for changing colors yet if you don't have the right program. If I find a good way to do so, I will do another video.

The same procedure can be used for an Epson Ecotank converted for sublimation. The profile I have is for the ET-4700, however, you can try ANY profile with your printer to see if it fixes your issue.

I can only put the profile for the machine I have. Hiipoo has put several on their website. You can actually try any profile for any machine and see if it helps you.
