- Last weekend I took a trip down to Hagerstown, MD to check out a big sports cards show but stopped off at some antique stores around the area in search of vintage collectibles and cards.

Cool finds! Impressive additions to your collection.
Thanks for watching!
Another fun trip with some awesome stops along the way. I love seeing all the different stuff and things people are selling. Nice pickups, should be some good rippin.
For the algorithm!
Like the oddball stuff..box bottoms , over size cards, food issues..
Love the video Jon. Your background music remains undefeated!
Thanks man! Appreciate you!
I used to buy them best packs at my nearest gas station. 👍🏽💯🔥
Thanks for all the awesome packs! I finally got it and did a video
Thank you Lee! I’ll check your video out later today!
I fell into a trance at the 2:45 mark with the music. Mesmerizing!
Extended intro 🔥
The cards that I’ve seen at the antique malls where I live are all priced many times over comps. I did find an uncut sheet of 1978 topps with Murray on it.
They usually always are comps or higher but sometimes you get lucky. It sounds like you did!
" Did I do that " ? Urkel. Love that sandberg box bottom. Great video and I am jealous of the wax box prices you found
Excellent price on the Best box. I wouldn't have hesitated to pick that up.
Seems like you got a great deal on those boxes, Jon! Too bad that Steve Urkel doll wasn't cheaper. You could have gotten Pee Wee a new friend who would be a good influence on him.
Can't wait for the Classic hunt!
Thank you for showing us around jamie 😊
Thank you for watching, Jamie!
Love the antique and flea market videos big thanks for showing the prices on the items, makes us wonder if we would buy them!
Glad you enjoy them! Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment!
@@thepastisalive been watching all your older posts. You’re only 1 of 4 that I subscribe to your videos are funny entertaining and informative! Can’t stand the UA-camrs that have a fake annoying voice you are very easy to watch and listen to keep up the great job! 👏
@@dougkucsera-ry8fp thanks a lot! I appreciate that! Happy to have you here!
There was a really nice Doc Gooden ‘85 Donnruss box bottom Rookie Card. You rarely see those and it’s even better when you find an uncut box bottom like the one you showed in the beginning of the video.
Agreed! I just found one in a collection about two weeks ago but thought about buying this box bottom because you don’t see them all too often uncut or in general.
Love the flea market videos. The shots of the cases was perfect!
Thank you Deb!
Great I do love collecting old baseball cards especially like my 1983 Topps ope chee rookie card Tony Gwynn hard to find .
That’s a nice one! I need to pick one up for my collection.
You should they only made a rookie card for Tony Gwynn that year.
Wow! Nice additions to your waxy buildup😅 Great buys especially for those prices! I don't normally do this, but I feel that Classic box has an auto! Thanks for sharing
I hope you’re right! Couldn’t pass on that box for the chance for those autos!
Its been a good min since you found anything for a good deal at the antique shops.
It’s very tough to find deals at antique malls
Jon jabs is the man ! I wanna sponsor a 200$ adventure !
Problem with these antique stores, I find that prices are always 50% over actual market value
Absolutely. It’s super tough to find any kind of deals in antique stores unless you come across something that hasn’t been listed on eBay in awhile. Most of the time I leave empty handed, but I still enjoy being around all of these things regardless.
WOW... I had no idea Maryland was That Close to you 😅😅 nearest 2 1/2 hr. drive state near me is Oregon 😅😅😅
Any way ... THAT Emotion '95 Box was a helluva find man! I remember those packs being like you said like Flair but pricy for a 12 y/o like me 😐 so I never opened any myself. Any way Awesome Finds and I was 😂😂😂 over that Family Matters Talking Urkel Doll!! That was way overpriced maybe if it were like $60-$65 be a good find but oh well.
Love that opening to your video as I've stated in the past a perfect opening for such weekend recaps!! Great Video nice finds appreciate you sharing 😃
You’re definitely right, Pauly! Most of the time antique stores prices are way above what they should be but it’s still fun to look and you never know what you may find. Thank you for watching!
@@thepastisalive There's a handful of antique stores round my immediate area I've often thought about going too. A few are within decent walking distance (drive maybe 7 minutes walking probably 1/2 hour) but yes you make some great points :)
Almost bought a box of the 92 classic best from ebay I believe it was $45 +shipping I think .
The music made me feel like I was watching Ace Adventures.
I don't know if you have stumble upon them and have them in your Ghostbusters collection: the Transformers Ghostbusters collaboration which I had no idea existed until a local retro toy store picked up a collection containing them.
Yep I have seen those! Some of them can go for a pretty penny.
@@thepastisaliveI saw Ectotron in the picture but apparently there's a Ghostbusters version of Optimus Prime out there.
First comment! Woooo
2nd
That first store’s sign looked like an off brand copy of the TPIA logo!
😂 yes it did!
i like turtles
Were those ceramic lions sitting on the counter of one vendor?
Haha I think so!
JAAAAAAAABBBBBSSSSS!!!! Awesome stuff!
Thanks Michael!
I was at the same card show in Hagerstown. It was really crowded. There were a few people selling some vintage but again, it was crowded.
Agreed, way too many people there but that’s a great thing for the hobby.
@@thepastisalive Honestly, it took me back to the 90's. All we needed was Jose Canseco signing autographs.
Before watching the very first thing I noticed in the thumbnail was that beautiful Tartabull rookie. The 11 year old me in 1990 would've begged my parents for that!!
Can't believe you went card shopping and only took $45 cash with you? You must have purchased some other collectibles? Two nice box purchases.
Usually I’ll pay with a card or most dealers accept PayPal. Only had $45 in cash on me but had I seen something worth taking out more money, I would have.
I found a 52 and a 59 topps mickey Mantle cards at a antique store in Butler PA 😊😊
Should attempt to get the 52 Mantle graded
