Hey guys. Sorry for a couple of mistakes there. I forgot to remove the name from the first clip since I decided I didn't need to name the wrestlers there. I also forgot to take the effect off of that Cardona/Matt Hardy Clip. I find a clip I want to use for a thumbnail but I have to remember to remove the effect afterwards. A lot of gems in this one though. Mostly all very current stuff too. let me know your favorite moments.
Those mistakes are unforgivable! Automatic unsubsribe! 😉 Things happen, fam! These videos actually help me learn about up and coming wrestlers on the indies! Keep doing you, papi!
With that match with Mickie Knuckles, the story goes that he was taking liberties with her first, so she started really laying in. They came after that match a did that stomp brutally on purpose as a receipt. He says that's bullshit and everything went according to plan. I don't know the truth. Only they will truly know.
Didn't the owner's youngest son also get involved? Mickie Knuckles probably was told to say that it went according to plan and play it off as kayfabe. Whatever they planned this is where reality and storyline go too far. AEW All Out the two main event matches damn brutal.
Mickey had a big match coming up with TNA or something like this. She started laying it in stiff on levy from the start. So he potatoed her back and she got cut or marked up her face then lost her shit and started being even more stiff. Then ian rotten her boyfriend at the time got devon and the other fella too teach him a lesson for hurting mickey and for giving it the big i am on some shitty message board the IW south wrestlers were chatting on before the match. Mike Levy was just a wrestling geek who wanted to get started in wrestling and ian rotten took advantage, then tried to justify what they did with a load of BS like mike levy was paying his dues. Its all on a radio interview not long after it happened. I dont think i've seen a match were they took so many liberties with a wrestler and ive watched pretty much every Steiners, road warriors and british bulldogs jobber match there is plus a ton of japanese and indie wrestling
Just thinking out loud here. I don't when people started getting so bothered by dives and the setups. I don't even like putting clips with dives much in videos at this point. I'm not coming at anyone. I just don't know when this became a thing people were so bothered by. It really wasn't something I saw harped on a lot until relatively recently. I feel like people such as Orton or Cornette started complaining about diving culture and then it became a thing after that. There is so much setting up and people doing nonsensical thing in wrestling. I just don't let these things bother me much. It's all for entertainment. Yes, it takes some people out of the moments. People waiting for spots but lucha libre style has been around for decades. All of this people complain about with high flyers is not new. The only real issue here to me is timing. People wait too long for dives or top rope moves. Look at the sequences in the PWG match with Ricochet and them. Pretty much as soon as a move was snapped off, someone else was jumping in. Just a better flow. In those group piles for divers to land on, the diver should be in motion as soon as they get their feet instead of waiting for them all to get fully up. Just be ready to jump quicker.
I think the problems are that nobody really tries to make them seem plausible or realistic anymore as well as everyone and their mom does dives today so it's not special at all anymore. The only person I like seeing doing dives is Darby Allin cause it actually looks like he's trying to hurt you with his dives.
I get you. It bothered me and now I just let em go by and pay attention to the spots I like. The ones that really bug me, and thankfully you see them less and less now, are the spots where a guy is hanging off/on to the middle rope waiting for a spot. It just looks so silly that they're holding themselves there.
It is all about coordination and often the wrestlers forget what to do next or time it correctly to look realistic. I did enjoy during AEW Suoma Joe when someone would take a dive at him and moves away instead of catching lmao, some of the landings ouch.
This is the best series you have but as much as i love watching them theyre starting to come a bit too often now.. please do more some more try not to wince videos. if those came a bit more then they could be your 2nd most popular series. I always enjoy them but they do need to be more often
@@Arathor82I mean. It is. He wanted to be a wrestler, so Ian Rotten, a tumor on the colon of life, said "Okay, Mickey, go beat the shit out of him, then we'll come beat him up, too."
@bryancampbell4604 I am. I watched a match from 1991 with Bret Hart and Mr. Perfect, and it flowed so well and looked believable. Then you see spots like this nowadays and it is five or six people who are all supposed to be fighting one another, and they all just huddle in a pile for ten seconds, and do nothing until somebody does something off the top ropes. I have been watching wrestling since the early 90s, and I know it is scripted, but I think that the wrestlers these days don't try as hard to sell the audience on their matches. Seems like it's all just setups for an over the top acrobatic performance.
Shane Mercer is a fraud. Every ''fit of strength'' I see him do, it's always against small guys. Really wanna show how strong he is, book him to do these things with bigger guys.

It's All Good You're Just Doing Your Job
Somehow Broken Matt Hardy and special effects go together. This was for the best.
JBL was smart to pick a clothesline as a finisher. It''s a simple move you can perform at almost any age, and make it look good!
I still find it awesome he got such a basic move in pro wrestling over as a finish

BlakeO561 does a great job covering this whole incident. I highly recommend it

Surprised that JBL appeared on GCW and TNA. He looks so badass now

I’ve said it before I’ll say it again: I’d rather see a prolonged set up where everyone is in position and the diver is properly caught.

I remember Amazing Red from the early years of TNA. I'm surprised he's still wrestling.
He runs House of Glory wrestling out of NY & still looks great all these years later imo
Ah, the Mike Levy incident. IWA: Infamous Wrestling Assault.
