If you spend some time trying to understand the racial dynamics at play in the US since the first African stepped on those shores, and if you can understand the psychology of perpetual bigotry, hate, brutality and exclusion, then you will understand why it's compulsory to say to family there, we are with you, we long to see the day when you are truly free, in the meantime consider joining us when you are able, PEACE AND LOVE.

I love this sister. She comes across so nice and loving. The kind of person you want to socialize with. I wish her all the best. Africa is a big continent. I am from Dr Congo. Can't wait to visit Ghana and hopefully meet brothers from the Diaspora.
I do not know if Haitian brothers are aware the late 60's, Dr Congo worked with Haiti and hundreds if not thousands came to Congo. Many of them worked in Education. We had so many Haitian teachers. I always remember them with fondness. Many have stayed in Congo and had families. They celebrate their return every year.
A few years ago, the Haitian President visited Congo.
I only have love and respect for Haitians, but also for all the African in the Diaspora.

“For you to know yourself you have to know your history. There is so much of us here, this is us” the great awakening is happening and all will soon be eager 🤩 to come home to enjoy the African experience; The experience where you feel belonged, the experience where you can paint 🎨 your own picture and not necessarily hear or see from others lens, the experience where you feel the connection and spiritual awakening to what it really means to be an African.
“You have to have the right mindset, Condition your mind to come to Africa and that’s the most preparation” The food tastes better when you eat with your hands”. She is definitely ready and very upfront with her thoughts 💭 and opinions. This is mind blowing and very touching to hear positive things for the first time coming to Ghana 🇬🇭.

      like you people do
      Not from there.
The Africans can play you for a fool
      Luer you into a trap
to a place your people didn’t come from
but they’re not going to do it to me
      Common sense
I look around Africa and I see people so black
I’ve never seen people that dark they don’t look like anybody in my family
and they don’t look like me
      I would be over there
looking like a white person amongst all those dark people
      I’m not from there
      those aren’t my people
or I would look like them
      I will stay right here

Africans, whether you are born outside of the continents or not. You have a responsibility toward yourself, children and community to educate yourself in matters of Pan-Africanism. I have often met, educated Africans who have no clue about their own history or the struggles and existence of their brothers and sisters all over the America's and beyond. The Black Jacobins is great book I recommend for everyone to read. From all my travels over the world, Africa is the only I felt truly home, just like the place I was born and raised, Haiti.

Subway Speaker The tools of discrimination, prejudice, ethnocentrism, and hate are used by a person to ensure his or her existence-to continue to climb up the economic ladder of life. In today’s society, like anytime in history, it’s boils down to what one needs to do to ensure one’s survival. As a PEOPLE , I sincerely believe that with self love, self preservation, most especially in maintaining the SAFETY of communities and UNITY, our survival will continue to be ENSURED, despite the facts that forms of inequalities that will continue to exist, almost every where , centuries and decades later! The most important thing is not to be anyone equal, but to continue to have a clear understanding that our survival depends on each other, as a group of people at home and abroad!

I know about that calling. I also know about love ones cautioned you about going to Africa. I am grateful for Maya as well for his encouragement to come visit. Ghana is now my home. I have not completed made the transition yet, but I am making progress. Not everyone will come to stay, but everyone of African descent must come to visit. To really understand yourself as an afro descendant, you must come to Africa and understand your roots.
    Thanks again Wode Maya.

Having the diaspora come back to the respective countries will do a lot for the development of each African nation.. It will bring back the belief that Africa is the future for development, and opportunities are there to be capitalized on, for everyone's benefit instead of being exploited.. Out of the few things which do need work however, includes internet.. India is known for cheap internet, but Africa has a lot of work of bring cheap easily available internet access to everybody.. It remains expensive relatively, in most countries there.. Healthcare too needs work, but I guess that has changed rapidly too, and will progress in the time to come..

Look for an orphan child and commit to help the foster parent take care of him/her. That child shall one day grow and remind you of the impact you have made in a village child’s life. I’m a testimony to such kindness and I am happy that God touched the heart of my uncle to adopt me. Merry Christmas 🎄 lovely people.

WODE MAYA, thanks so much for letting our brothers and sisters in the west know that we love them with all of our hearts. They’ve been lied to that we hate them, but we’re educating them about the centuries of lies. United, we stand as African no matter where you’re from. I dreamed we were hanging out, brother and I look forward to seeing you when Almighty God bless me to come back home. God bless!
