He was a mercurial batsman who would play one explosive inning and fail in next five.Case of his bowling was different.Afridi surely much bigger crowd puller than any other pakistsni player but this does not make him a great player.He is very fine utility player who can destroy any team with his batting or bowling on his day but not consistent in batting.
