Hi Christina, spot on reading for what I am going through. the conflict is with my sister, we have carer responsibilities with my 96 year old mother, she thinks she knows everything very black and white, when it comes to our mothers care. I work full time as does she, however, I also have a very unwell mentally ill daughter who has struggled for many many years
and I’ve been through a lot the past 5 few months and still ongoing with my daughter being hospitalised and at the same time having to care for my elderly mother whilst my sister was away assisting her daughter with the birth of her first child. I did have some carers help during this time, but it was an absolute rollercoaster of emotions and ongoing stress to deal with both carer responsibilities at the same time. Something had to give and I took 3 weeks off work in order to be able to cope.
Sadly my daughter is still seriously unwell and I cry and grieve about her constantly. I don’t receive any understanding or empathy from my sister, her only concern is taking care of our mother and me doing my part. I pushed back today, and said I wasnt well enough to go to care for mum tonight, we have carers during the day but we take over the evening with organising dinner, medications and getting Mum ready for bed. I am so depleted and sad and in grief about my daughter state of health and I’m on my own dealing with it. Father out of the picture. And I have to deal with the domineering sister. Can’t deal anymore and as you have seen in the cards, I will be giving her my point of view. Yes you’re right always going along with what everyone wants, but what I want and need. I am sick of being told what she thinks is right even about my daughter, there is no heart there, she has no idea her children are all doing well and successful whilst mine continues to struggle, she is going to be 35 in 3 weeks. My sister is younger than me a Sagittarius. Her children distanced from my daughter when she was a child. What keeps us tied is my mother. My sister is vastly different to me. Wow. I’m struggling to get back to full time work (on a short term contract directly with a friends business) and a guy I usually get my contracts through is pushing me to take on another project for him. Apparently it’s ok to do it part time and squeeze it in around my other job cos they’re desperate and I have a unique skill set. I don’t think my body and soul are sufficiently recovered from burnout to manage it but I need money to get me out of debt after not working for 6 months. I relate to what you said about being that buffer to keep everything smooth. But I had to laugh when you kept saying that I know my knowledge base - cos both these projects are rebuilding product knowledge bases and rewriting all the content lol. Let’s see if my karma with scarcity thinking is about to be completed.
We were living together as a blended family (he has two boy and I have a daughter) and things got bad. So my daughter and I moved out but he and I continued to work on the relationship. Im having marital issues. Im a cancer and my wife is the pisces. I feel like shes being influenced by her gemini friend to divorce me. It resonated with me FOR my wife when there was mention of financial loss because my wife kicked me out and i quit giving her money to save for my own house. My wife and I have our problems and i know her friend means well but her friend isnt the one about to lose her house and everything MY WIFE AND I have built over the last 8 years. It kind of sounds maybe like a situation I lended a small amount of money to my cousin and I deep down felt like I shouldn't but I did because he said he would give me a lot more back and I literally had to beg for my money for 3 days to get it back huge mistake he gave me lots of excuses and then he finally sent it back and that was just last week never gave me the extra that he claimed he was going to give me and then he had the nerve to send me a message asking for that same amount that he borrowed before at 2:00 in the morning and I did send him a message later on in the morning and told him no but he's one of those people you just can't argue with he has a very bad mouth when it comes to people he claims to do wrong towards him I just didn't want any drama with him so I just told him I have no money I'm not working and he knows that so I don't know why he asked me hopefully he won't ask me again I made it pretty clear that I can't help him
