It can be seen from his recovery training in the figure skating training hall after the game that he is at the top both in terms of competitive state and competitive level! I am watching this video after Beijing Olympics 2022, and during the Russian attacks on Ukrainian territory. Watching Yuzu's journey lifts my heart for a moment, while terrible scenes are broadcasted on TV. I wish for world peace!
After watching this video, I understand why he wanted to perform Haru yo, koi in Winter Olympics 2022 after his failure on 4A. Believe that we can see him soon as the meaning he conveyed was the same. "I display my understanding of Spring in the program - hard past as well as pleasure. I hope this performance can encourage everyone to move forward bravely and believe that Spring will come back soon."
I'm crying as I watch this again. This season has been really rough for him. To see him exhausted and crushed after those competitions (GPF & JP Nats) it really broke my heart. I can't imagine what he felt at that time. So I'm really happy that he bounced back at 4cc and won. This coming world championships I hope that it ends well for him. I want to believe that he can do it, but I'm really scared for what may happen, what might they do to bring him down again. I'm just praying for his health and happiness and have faith in his abilities to overcome this season.
