- Every year I would do a Christmas Craft with my children. This was one of them so it is very nostalgic for me. But it was no easy chore to make or film or edit. Whew! But I am so happy with the end result. After all that work, I went and accidentally deleted the no-talking version. Oh boy! I was so bummed. It is gone for good. Thankfully I have this one to share. I surely hope that you will enjoy it.
In this video we will hear cutting of card stock, folding and handling of Christmas cards and my whispered voice w/candy.

My dad calls a kitchen sink a kitchen Zink! Living here in southeast Kentucky we say all kinds of funny things lol.. we have our own vocabulary that’s for sure. I’ve never heard Skizzers lol that’s too cute. This craft idea is just the cutest miss Rebecca.

My husband had surgery today. Now in isolation for a week to allow steroids to work and his immune system to recover. He's very tired but can't sleep. This video is very nostalgic to me. It reminds me of when I used to watch Mr. Dressup after school and watching him create crafts. Now I realize his voice and watching him create crafts would totally relax me. Great video rebecca 💜
Isn’t that funny? Bob Ross and Mr. Rogers. Those shows were iconic for that reason. I have never heard of Mr. Dress up. I can’t recall the TV shows that would relax me. I don’t think I have any. But I always fall asleep in front of the TV at night. 😃

My family would always take old Christmas cards and cut out the pictures to recycle them as tags for gifts instead of buying new tags. I loved using the crinkle cut scissors to cut hearts and ovals around the pretty pictures or interesting words on the cards to reuse. When someone would open their gifts, they would always wonder where the tags came from because they would be so different from the regular stickers you can buy. I would smile on the inside because I knew how special they were to me and now, how special they were for them when they opened their gift.

My family used to always do Christmas crafts! The moms/aunts, my grandma, and the girl cousins would craft while all the men watched football or played golf 😂 something very cozy and special about crafting something just for a holiday

I had to give up on the baking and shopping videos for this month as I tried both and failed miserably. That doesn’t usually happen but I pushed myself too far. I’m taking it easy on Christmas week. Oh I hope you do it! Your granddaughter will absolutely love it. I’m sure of it. Make sure you get the right kind of glue. If it isn’t quick drying it can be awfully frustrating. Elmers glue is not what you need. PVA. Book binding glue.

Hahaha...your husband sounds like he'd be good for a laugh and a pun or three 🤭 No, I have never seen this craft before. I was absolutely mesmerised and could hardly wait to see what it was going to become. So pretty! I most certainly will try to find the time to make one! I love crafts! Especially paper crafts. I could see it being made in different sizes as well but a bigger one would not be possible with the average Christmas card. You could even put candy or chocolates inside. Even a bottle of fragrance! It's a really GREAT idea! But I loved watching your video and listening to your chatter 😘 It felt just like I was there. I watch these videos for relaxing same as some boardgame videos and I am always surprise of what one can learn from others when watching complete different stuff than usual. It might sound odd, but when I watched this creative process here I was thinking I could never come up with the idea, draw a clear circles, cut it nicely out or put it together. So it is really a nice mix. And sometimes it even inspires me to do some new stuff myself.

I got my personal phone only last year..due to which I'm not so connected with lots of friends.. Overall, I'm connected with 5-6 frnnds & my ex..out of which I considered 3 of them to be my bestie( that guy, his sis, & another girl..she's a sweetheart)..Now I feel like..ohk..I've a friend with whom I feel comfortable..& she accepts the good me& messy me😂 I just pray to God, nothing to should get wrong between me and her..& even if anything happens, we should be able to deal it together..

What software are you using for editing? I want to make some grandma trying to get everyone to get along videos. Not ASMR. Just so alarmed at how divided our nation is.
I just use a an app on my iPhone phone called Splice. Nothing more.
