Beautiful song and John Lennon can sing it. His voice was amazing and could sing any song and make it a hit. I was crazy about the Beatles and not even Elvis effected me the way they did. The day John Lennon died was the saddest day of my life. He was his on person living life to the fullest only to be taken to soon. Such a loss to the music world and one of the greatest song writers of all time. ♥️

Well maybe because he abandoned his family for her? I love John but coming from a family where my dad abandoned us, I can fully sympathise with people who disliked yoko.
@coco she did contribute to the break up though, she wasn't the only cause but she did contribute. People were definitely pissed that John treated his first wife and child like they were nothing.
The world was coming out from the Vietnam war and all Asians were looked at like the enemy. Racism. The Brits wanted to see John with Blonde Cynthia. If John wasn't strong enough he would of never got to experience LOVE. He didn't give a damn about what people thought. It was the cruelty of Yoko that made John go to New York. He wanted her to be accepted and recognized as his wife. It is disappointing that even today his so called fans don't have love for the woman he adored. The only woman for him his only love.
