Hurdy Gurdy set-up part 1 Rosin

a vid demonstrating my method for applying rosin to a wood hurdy gurdy wheel innit, yes theres lots of different types of cake or block rosin, i use hindersine violin 'cos that's what I've got

Oi! love your style, you keep them coming and I'll only have one place I need to bother with. I had to bury my gurdy under a pile of stuff for 6 months (in its case of course) because I've been studying maths at uni this year and learned in the first semester that "ahh, just have a quick grind" is tantamount to three or four days having to catch up on the studies. but im on holiday nearly and am really excited you've put a few vids out because i care not for electronics or 17 strings or highly recorded sound. just want the real thing from someone who'se been at it long time. cheers from Oz. come visit. you have a bed waiting, breakfast, tea i suppose...

What kind of rosin? Cello, violin..?

i use violin, im used to it as it removes itself at a rate i understand but others use cello or even double bass
