The sequencer of the 3P is not limited to 16 steps! Besides having 2 dco instead of one with pwm it sounds really close to the juno 6. I don't noticed more noise than my juno either. A interessting part is the basic midi implemention. together with the jupiter-6 it is one of the first roland synths to have midi.

Sound wise the JX 3P is criminally underrated. I prefer it to almost all other synths I got.

The step sequencer has 128 steps and is polyphonic.
