All my childhood friends are all grown up with amazing jobs, married, children, mature responsibilities and there’s me, a 38 year old watching a monster munch compilation on UA-cam because I’m eating monster munch
I've ordered some Monster Munch on Amazon for myself, and it's a pack that has all 3 flavors in it, with Pickled Onion, Flamin' Hot, and the Roast Beef flavor I haven't tried before.
@@alexk8792 Oh yeah, they're all pretty tasty. They'll make your breath stink, though. I had one of my friends try a piece of Pickled Onion flavor, and he ran to the garbage can in the kitchen and spat it out lol
A kot of people on this thread saying "7p, isnt that cheap". Well, no, it wasn't. 7p in 1977 money (when many of these adverts were made) is the equivalent of 90p in 2024 money. The average male manual worker in the UK only earned £3,640 a year back then, women even less: £2,272
I bought Monster Munch Flamin Hot and Pickled Onion flavors from Jungle Jim's in the British food aisle. My friend Roni tried both flavors. When he ate the pickled onion flavor, he ran to the garbage can and spat it out.
WOW look at the size of those bags in those monsters hands, imagine the size of the bags in human hands. LOL. Bag sizes seem to be getting smaller these days. Picked up a £1 bag at my local shop and I'm pretty sure used to be 68g and now it's 60g, at this rate I will have to empty crisps into a bowl because my hand won't fit into the bag. Less Less Snack for more money it seems like these days.
I wonder 9f there was a child who asked for his parents to give him a monster munch themed birthday party. Shame that child must have had no friends thinking that this lore was the greatest
Monster Munch were a much loved United Kingdom crisp variety launched in 1977 A.D. by Smiths Crisps, and subsequently revitalised by Walkers in 1995 A.D. when they took over the company. The classic years of advertising with the original monster puppets appeared on television between 1978 and 1994 A.D., prior to their move to Walkers. At this point the original 3-D puppets were replaced by perceptibly stop-motion animation and sadly the costumes were definitely lost forever. Despite a failed mid-profile campaign to recover them.
They were damn nice. The crisps back then had a different consistency too, they were heavier and more filling. That all changed when walkers made them vegetarian. Ah the good ol days
im sure i see a late night monster munch advert late 80s early 90s.. i sure the narrator began with the lads are kust back from ibiza?? anyone remember it??
There's one in this collection that starts at 05:34 which shows the lads just back from Benidorm. It' perhaps that one, or maybe another similar one from around that time.
Da Pink Monster looks like Squidward's great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great Grandfather
It actually goes well with the maise flavor salt n tastes like a fried crunchy onion, just tangy. All snacks n confection r very very well thought through using secret mixes b expensive techniques inspired by fine dining. Look at fab ice cream or double decker choc bar production.
