- The Laba garlic is a vinegar-preserved garlic. Its refined color is green and its taste is sour and slightly spicy. In general, green and vinegary garlic is called Laba garlic
Laba vinegar is the vinegar used to pickle the Laba garlic. The custom of making Laba garlic is more prevalent in northern China. Laba garlic and vinegar with dumplings are traditional foods for the Spring Festival in China. Laba garlic alone could also be a Chinese New Year dish.

in bottle(330ml) full of garlic, just fill the vinegar level to it. No exact measurement of vinegar because you have to fill it enough to submerge the garlic. i used 1/2 tbsp of sugar

I dnt know why but my mother just grind the garlic normally and store it in the refrigerator and the very next day the garlic pest automolatically turned into green colour but she didn't add anything in it

after the process of making mam u have to place it in a room temp, the hotter the place the better. do not shake again, when it already turned green then it is ready to put it in a ref

thank u for the comment. just fill the vinegar level to the garlic. after putting some sugar shake then let it stay in a hot dry place. dont move and shake until it turn green.

@@hunglongyuan4271 Use rice vinegar, don't use white vinegar... place it near your rice cooker. The heat from cooking rice will turn it green after 3 days

I also followed your procedure, still the garlic didn't turn green. What vinegar did you use? I used the local vinegar here datu puti, no good results. I prepared again using brown rice vinegar, still didnt turn green😔 i placed them in room temperture. I give up.🙄
