Unfortunately this wouldn't work for some super rough title 1s around Sacramento, my area. The parents would laugh and throw it away if they even looked at it at all... Makes me super sad.

That's a bummer. I'm sorry that's been your experience. If all else fails, I've just had the students write me a letter in class. The student letters have actually been some of my favorites! Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. 💗

@@TheTimeCrunchedTeacher I'm lucky to have great kids, despite huge lack of parent involvement. The student letters have an option for parental contact but they never respond. Love the kids and their letters, they help start a connection for sure. Great video still!
