- Hey loves!💕
We’re at it again!
This is an update of how things have been and sadly I’m going through a hectic time right now..
Please don’t forget to subscribe, share and like!🤗
I'm a host parent here in America in the state of Ohio. I just want to say that my children and I are blessed and grateful for our Aupair❤ in my heart she is my Daughter! I will call our aupair BB because I don't want to use her real name without her knowing! BB is from the beautiful Country of Thailand. When BB first arrived it was a little stressful for BB not myself or my children! The culture change was a big shock for her! She also missed her beautiful family so very much! I was patient and understanding with BB! I was also blessed that my sister only lives 8 miles from me! So when I was working or traveling for work my sister would come over to help and comfort BB!...BB caught on very quickly. My message to host parents/parent please be kind and patient with your Aupair! Remember your Aupair is a young lady! She is coming into new Country, culture. Which can seem like a different planet! Please give her time to adjust. I can promise you she will make you proud! My children speak more Thai language in our home than English because they look up to BB so very much! They think her language is cool❤❤ We love BB so very much she is our family❤❤❤ she is so sweet and kind with a very loving heart! So please host parents remember your Aupair is a human with feelings and emotions just as you and I. They are not robots!! Also remember she isn't becoming Rich from being an Aupair so be generous with your aupair if you can afford to be! Most importantly show her love, kindness, respect! I promise she will do the same! I can't wait to watch BB grow and accomplish her goals and dreams! Give her the biggest hug! Also remember your Aupair is a young Woman! So please help to build her confidence! Especially if she is an Aupair in America. Because too many girls/Women in America are sexualized! There is too much pressures on young girls and women to believe they have to look what some of our society believes is sexy😑 So help to build the confidence or your Aupair let her know she is a beautiful person the way she already is because true beauty comes from within! Look out for your Aupair because there are many disrespectful disgusting men here in America! So lookout for her as she is your daughter, mother, sister!
We need more host parents like you 🙌🏽. I couldn’t have said it better! The culture shock is certainly something I didn’t expect but my family made it super easy for me to blend in.
@@Becoming1306 I'm so grateful that your host family helped to make it a little easier for the culture shock! I'm grateful that BB has amazing friends that watch her back! Alog with myself. It's very sad here in America girls/ women are sexualized! On our television, magazine, in A lot of our music! In my opinion there are more pressures from society on girls/ women than Young men/ adult men. We have many disgusting men that don't even think twice to harass Girls! Even many sick so called gown men will harass youn teen girls😠 especially foreign girls! They think the girl can't understand what they say! I went to jail in May for protecting BB because some man in the mall was saying disgusting words to her😠 my father raised me to protect anyone who is being bullied or harassed. Especially a Girl/ Woman! It's very sad! A lot of American men who visit Thailand only go to look for a young girl😠 I'm ashamed by this! It's disgusting!! I hope you have never experienced this from a man! If you have I'm sorry from my heart. You deserve respect. I wish you peace, love, and happiness❤ Remember that you are beautiful the way you are! The best beauty comes from within!

Hi Karii! I’m also an aupair from SA here in the usa. I went through rematch during my first 3 months! Worst time of my life, cried everyday during and before rematch.
I’m with a great family now , I wouldn’t do anything else if I could. It shaped me so much !
Hope you are doing well, just remember that everything passes.
I also feel like I’ve found thee greatest family. Thank you🙏🏾❤️
Just seeing the title of your video my heart broke for you. I was an au pair in the UK and almost had a rematch, because the family felt it wasn't a good fit. We managed to make it work in the end, but it was a difficult situation to be in. Thinking of you.
Thank you Bella😊❤️
The rematch went well and I’m moving tomorrow. Hopefully everything turns out okay 🤞🏾

You're so pretty. Maybe this is also what i need to do. Need to go out and explore
I definitely recommend it😘
“Heart attack, I’m there”🤣aii
😹😹
Hey Karabo thank you for sharing your experience. I hope you find what you are looking for... I wanted to ask, which au pair company are you with?
You’re welcome. I’m with Cultural Care Au pair
You’re so pretty 💖
Thank you🥰
Awesome video 💯
Thanks Cuz❤️
Hi Karrie I just wanted to find out with the medical report does the agent cover that or you’ll have to get your own doc to do it than you must submit the report to the agency?
Hey! You’ll have to get your own doc to do it then submit it..
Hii, what airline did you use and do they book the flights for you. Is there someone that helps you at the airport if it's your first time flying?
Hey, I think it was Delta Airlines, yes they book the flights. Also, it’s pretty easy when you get there, of course if you don’t understand something, they’ll be someone there to assist.
What documents did you have to fill out to switch your visa to the new family? Was that at an embassy or something or did you just mail things?
I didn’t need any documents to be changed. My agency took care of everything. The only thing that changed was my DS-2019 form.
I have been meaning to apply for the au pair programme and I started applying since I am in my final year of study. I am with your agency basically and I have completed the questions part and now I was just adding the documents. My question was, does the agency assist me with the VISA or do I acquire it myself and the international driving permit… does the agency assist with that?
The agency assists you by sending you a link and videos on how to apply. If you’re struggling you can give them a call and email them they’ll definitely call you back.
Hope Lisa’s answer helped😘
@@Becoming1306 May i know if how much is your salary.?
@@Rhil33 the minimum stipend is $197.5 but some families choose to pay more.
Hi, I hope u okay now but I’m also in my final year of uni now and thinking of au pairing next year. When do u think I should apply for this program if I want to get there like end of January next year?
Hey babe. You should start with your application now because finding a family might take months. ❤️
If you have any questions during your application feel free to ask me😘
I am also thinking of going next year around January !
How are you feeling on your journey so far @breathe! ?
Hope you're doing well👋😊❤
Hey so when did you do your visa? After you found your host family or during the profile?
After matching with a host family babe..
Hey girl may I please know how much you needed for the whole process and how many months the whole process took from when you filled the application?
Hey hun. I spent roughly R20000. R17000 for registration fee( this includes medical insurance, all round flights) R2700 visa, R250 police clearance.
Hi can I ask how much do you get paid for week? I know 195.75$ is the minimum but is it possible it can be more?
Hey love, yes it’s possible for families to pay you more.
I wish to ask, is it possible to do the program if you're from Cameroon?
Hey, yes I think so.
Hey do you pay tax and how long did the process take to become an au pair?
Au pairs usually do their taxes the second year. Haven’t thought about it yet. For me it took 3-4months. That’s until I got in the US
Hey girl the agency you used covered all the costs?
Hey (sorry for the late reply), flights and medical insurance. Visas, etc are your own expenses.
Hello does cultural aupair work worldwide
Hi I would like to apply as im a final year student please share the application link..
culturalcare.com/.
Hey. What were the ages of the kids you were taking care of?
8,7,5,3
Can someone go USA through aupair at the age of 27
Well what I know about my agency (cultural care Au pair) the cut off age is 26, but I’ve met Au pairs who are 27 and still in the program. I think others allow you to actually travel when you’re that age..
Hi @Breathe.. Can I kindly please just ask if, is it okay to apply if you have kids or a kid?
Sorry, no you cannot be an au pair if you have a child.
@@Becoming1306 Ohh alright okay but do they really check if you do have kids or not?
@@masabataletlatla4307 yes they do..
I'm an AuPair for 5 years here in SA but 4 kids?? In a foreign land? Mntase, you are brave😂😂😂. I can't even do 3 kids😂
Looking into going to the USA now.
In SA? That’s cool! Which agency are you using?
If you do go abroad you should try cultural care😉
As for 4 kids💀😂. Eish bruh
@Breathe! I'm with AuPair Extraodinaire, however I've also done it by myself through AuPairSA. I've worked mostly in Sandton and Bedfordview. Still in Sandton.
@@zenkhuzwayo and how has it been?
@Breathe! It has its ups and downs. Some families are great, some are full of shit but I really enjoy it and I've only had 1 experience of the kids being mean and rude. The rest are all lovely kids.
Before you were placed did you experience any payments to make for the documents.
Well with my agency, I only paid the registration fee after matching with a family. That registration fee includes all flights and medical insurance.
@@Becoming1306 And how much was the fee?
And which year did you choose to become an au pair

How do you get paid as au pair
Au pairs get paid a minimum of $197 per week and some families choose to pay more..
Where do you stay during the rematch process
With the family you’re with at that time. If the environment is “unbearable” at that point, the agency puts you in a hotel or you stay with your LCC.
Which city you stayed in Utah?
Layton
sila😝
Is necessary for you to go to college before applying?
Highest qualification is matric babe.
Meaning as long as you’re done with high school you qualify..

How much are you getting paid?
The minimum weekly stipend is $195,75 but other families can choose to pay more.
Hi, how much did you pay for the whole process 😊🥰🥰... love you
Hi love. Registration fee is R15000. This includes medical insurance and all your flights. You’re gonna also spend roughly R2700 to apply for a visa.
@@Becoming1306 babes, do you pay that R15k once they have found you a host family or ....? Thank you for this video.
Why don't USA take Kenyans to au pair there?.... South Africa is also a English speaking country
Culture care doesn’t accept Kenyans? Have you experienced it?
I didn’t know USA doesn’t take Kenyans. Maybe try other countries?
Hellow girl how are yo able to identify a genuine agency? L got my match in usa ohi bt l don't know if its legit l can share so that you can yell me if its legit please
Hey, yeah sure. What’s the name of the agency?
Mma, your hours! A spanne yang??
My “hours” were composed of babysitting for relatives babysitting my siblings and so forth. Any experience with kids counts as hours..
How much do you get paid?
Au pairs get paid minimum of $197 per week
Wow I never heard of au pair. This seems like modern day slavery. I’m blk American. And this is sad to me. I had to look up what all of this means. Why can’t you just find someone to help? Without being the help. Why do you have to work for them? With little pay. Maybe im not understanding correctly . This is sad to me. Im willing to help.
Hey, look it up yeah. It’s a cultural exchange program. “ cultural exchange “.
@@Becoming1306 wow
