The fact he made this video shows me that he genuinely cared that people thought he intentionally ruined the race and wanted to make it right. A lot of UA-camrs would have ignored the comments and kept it moving. Instead he sat down and explained himself and apologized. You can't ask for more than that of a person.

Watching the great Randy Pobst stop in turn 4, after the race, was a sad moment. The night ended when a dozen drivers turned into the burn out pad, where the emergency vehicles were safely parked 🤦🏻‍♂️🤬😳🤬, and proceeded to start a giant dangerous burnout hitting each other in the clouds of tire smoke, intentionally destroying the remaining Crown Vics....
That was sad seeing the professional drivers endure a full night of demolition derby trying to stay away from as much unnecessary danger, is Randy Pobst going to return, or probably not. If you watch every professional drivers UA-cam video uploaded from their perspective; they ALL wanted to hide in the back and wait for the UA-camr idiots to wreck each other of the race, and avoid the demolition derby drama. But it never ended because they gave back-up cars to those UA-cam clickbait idiots.
Skip the burnouts in the beginning to fill time, pre-race interviews for all these UA-camr and professional drivers that gave up their time. Nobody talked to Randy on the main PPV feed. Nobody did any post race ceremony for Kevin's win or interview the drivers after the race. Why "hit the pace car (van)? They should save the "Cleetus & Cars" shenanigans for that event the next day. Do more driver interviews, lawncarenut plug, 316 Speed track repair plug. Let the professional drivers explain to the crowd how hard this race will be because of the track repairs and old pavement transitions of grip. Do an ending ceremony for Kevin (who's building the next big car for Cleetus, plug his shop and merchandise). Then interview the drivers about the major events during the race. All the details for a proper racing event were missed. Put Spencer down, Nitro Tires actually has models "Tire Girls" that could come promote the tire company, and help do these interviews before the race, and give Kevin a medocre trophy. Great PPV content, ask each driver what's their next project is, will they be at Cleetus Cars in Indianapolis?
Garrett Mitchell aka Cleetus McFarland needs to sit down and watch any NASCAR race or NFL games, take notes on what non-competition aspects go on between the flags and plays, camera angles, interviews, questions asked, what is good color commentary, what makes a person good for on air talent, now many sponsor plugs are necessary, how many trophy girls or tire girl's are at each event. What makes a race or game entertaining when it's a caution or timeout? Get that B roll recorded and ready!

Bro, it takes a big man to apologize to the extent that you have. You're clearly a good guy. If ppl don't get that - as Cooper put it - that sounds like a them problem.

I'm the daughter of a sprint car fanatic. I love it and, you know when things are serious or not. The dirt track is a brilliant night out. Dash em derby, bangers or old caravan. You know which is which. Loved this vid, embarrassing talking and laughing at the screen but I know where you were coming from. Some people just need to get a grip! My dad has now a memorial trophy given to one if the hard working volunteer guys of a team out of Geelong(my home town in Oz). Started up in memory of him. Keep goin matey. Xo trin

Band teacher used to say 'If you're early, you're on time. If you're on time, you're late. If you're late, run five laps then fall in line.' Took three days for freshman to realize he wasn't kidding... Lol

Man it's hard to keep your head with so much chaos going on around you. I didn't know you guys other than Cleetus' video of you guys drifting @ FF. I bought the PPV and I admit I was pissed off at first but ended up just laughing it off. You guys are legends as far as I'm concerned and I hope to see you back at The Freedom Factory very soon! Just the level of respect for all the other drivers that you went in with shows me you didn't go there just to be an asshole. Mistakes happen the only thing we can do is adapt. #HELLYEAHBROTHER
