Great experience? What’s the great experience?? That they can have everything they ask for simply because he can afford it. That Disney is woke and preaches the worst examples for children? Did they come across a man dressed as a princess rep for Disney yet? Have you seen their movies lately? A disgrace no think Jason is a wonderful father and person. But I think sometimes principles are more important. I use to love Disney growing up. I took my son 25 years ago. Philosophy was different. They have become a disgrace. And their prices are a joke. Quality not the same

That was awesome. I can't believe you ran into your teacher after just talking about her. That tour guide was amazing, he must get very tired all that walking day after day. Can you imagine 6 kids on that tour all crying and screaming haha

Great Video! Thanks for sharing the VIP Experience. was curious how it works. I’ve been going to Disney since 1990. Some people just so far down the rabbit hole and believe and get triggered easily from everything they see on social media and what comes out from washington. they just can’t put their phones away or turn their TVs off and enjoy a family vacation anymore.
And right as i finished submitting this i saw that you were able to let your friends go with you again on Frozen. awesome job.

Our tour guide was amazing - and it was absolutely worth it. Disney is way too insane these days and honestly it’s not that bad when you split it up among a few people :)

I recently did a disney vacation in november 2023 to all 4 parks and saw people on the VIP experiences. I often wondered what it would be like to do one of these seeing as how it's far too expensive for my budget. Thanks for sharing with us Jason, it was great being able to see and live the VIP experience through you and this video.

I heard you mention DVC. I purchased a small contract with DVC back in 2016 and I broke even after about 7 years. When I can’t make it to Disney, I rent my points out via a broker which typically provides me with sufficient $ to pay for a year or two of annual dues.

Not sure if anyone talked to you about DVC but we had our contact for the Grand Californian for 13 years and just sold it for a profit after dues and cost of our points. You can purchase contracts “used” and save a ton of money. We only had 100 points and sometimes went once a year or would skip and go two or 3 times and get an annual pass. The internet is full of information- you don’t always need as many points as Disney will try to sell you. Anyway if you love Disney and do it right it can really save you money. 😊

I have done the all day back stage magic tour and the keys to the kingdom tour. I would recommend both to anyone interested in learning more about Disney secrets. Both are group tours and include lunch. I know keys to the kingdom we had to pay admission with the tour price. The back stage magic tour I can’t remember if we paid for a ticket or not. Back stage magic was a 9 hour tour of all the parks. Some walking and some ring on A bus. Either tour you will not be disappointed.

I could ever afford the VIP tour, but for the price you pay, you should be fed,never wait in a line (celebrity’s don’t), never be told no!For what you pay for DVC, you can get a nice room.

What a great Vlog Jason, can relate so much to the excitement I took my 10yr old daughter to Disney last year on our own for her first visit from here in the UK. Favourite ride over the two weeks was Guardians (what a ride)

Looks like a great experience and thanks for sharing! It seems though that it would make more sense for Disney to have asked their questions regarding what rides you wanted etc. PRIOR to being in the park. That way, you could have had a seamless experience vs. a continuous planning throughout your day. Looks like you guys had a great time!! 🎉
Planning ahead and making ride selections before entering the park can indeed helpful. I agree! But, glad I planned ahead. lol
Great video and VIP experience! I’ve done VIP tours at Land and World, as well as at Universal Orlando. I’ve enjoyed them all but if you like Universal at all that one is awesome because you don’t wait in any line at all. You don’t use the Express Line but just bypass the entire line for every ride. It makes for a marathon of a day and necessitates Dramamine haha but totally worth it.

Did the vip thing at Disneyland one year ,nothing worse than an Indiana Jones Ride at 7:30 in the morning,hungover,after a late night at the lounge in the Hotel lobby.3 days of ridiculousness...I can't imagine were you guys went,there is so much space you covered,you must have eatin your Wheaties every morning,collecting awesome DAD points.

I was thinking though, if you're looking to record a POV video and ditch the GoPro (if it is cumbersome, you let me know!), there are these cool new glasses with built-in cameras that film really well. No worries if they're not your thing, but just thought I'd mention them!

For that price, the VIP experience could have been catered to your daughter with maybe a princess or character theme gift and shopping experience from like the Biddy Bobbpity Boo-tique. The tour guide there seemed tired from the minute you said hello. Can't wait for part 2&3. As a former Disney hotel employee, the dusty shower head was disappointing.

Thank you for sharing and talking about the financial aspect. I was surprised that meals weren't included especially for the price that you were paying, what's an extra $100? Those tour guides must take a physical beating, a 10 hour day and then to get up and do that 4-5 days a week? Wow and I'm sure they are not making anywhere near the $900 an hour that they charge for that. You didn't mention the hotel price but as it was Spring Break, I would guess that it was around $800-$1000 a night for a regular room that wouldn't think about paying that for a night in NY or Vegas. Looking forward to part 2!

What a fun experience for you and your daughter. 🥰 We used to take our kids to universal studios in Florida and we have a Canadas Wonderland here in Canada that we always had the season passes for when they were young . I went to Disney when I was 8 and I still remember it’s a small world and the African safari boat ride . I wonder if they still have that? 😅

I love Disney. It's just the crowds I am not a fan of. Years ago the ride broke down in It's A Small World. Try listening to that song for almost 45 minutes. I get PTSD anytime I now hear it.

I’ll take experiences and time well spent with family over material items any day. We didn’t always have the most money growing up but that didn’t stop my parents from taking us on road trips and beach adventures.
In the end, memories are what we hold onto regardless of the circumstances

With the amount they charge for the VIP tour it’s pretty disappointing to see the guides salary starts at $22 an hour. They encourage you give 20% tip (I’m all for tipping) but meanwhile they only pay the employee about 3-5% of the hourly charge. I hope he gets to keep all the tips

Lol I LOVE how they aint changed the vid on the millenum falcon smugglers run ride as you enter ( on the vid at 13:39 mark!) as he STILL mentions passengers from the Halcion ( the star wars galatic cruise hotel) that failed and closed down in Sept 2023! ...I wonder JUST WHAT they are going to do with that hotel ...its a shame realy as it was good BUT way too expensive for a 2 day imersive experience ..most folks just couldnt aford or justify the cost of it...disney were banking on hardcore star wars fans to book it at the prices they were charging and it BACKFIRED on Disney spectaculary! if they had lowered prices , and maybe had the option to stay longer with out all the imersive / interactive stuff and had cast members there doing meet and greets etc then it prob could of survived ..BUT since it's closure some of the stuff has already been gotten rid of ....the MAY the 4th event at disney they got rid of some of the glass wear when you bought an upgraded cocktail ( that was only previously available on the galactic cruise and you got to keep the glass!
OBV your VIP TOUR was in 2023 and tron rollercoaster wasnt opend to the public till Aprill 2023 so obv this vid was taken before April 2023 and BEFORE galactic cruise hotel closed lol ...BUT why has it taken you this long to post the vid Jason just over a year? (but i know you have 2 more vids coming ..one contacting disney customer care about your visit ...SO prob wanted to save the vid and post all 3 after the fact which makes sense! ) also i know things get in the way (family life etc ) so will let you off 😉🤣 BUT non the less a great vid gonna watch part 2 after this and part 3 when it drops 😉
ALSO that was realy nice of you to do that for your daughters teacher as you were on the VIP and they wern't...i didnt know that (obv given some caviats as in to many people) that you could do that as a VIP which is realy nice and spreading the disney love around ..also your vip tour guide was helpful as in the best way to do rides and things ....BUT i find it sad that being a VIP tour cast member that Disney dont keep them up to date with things on a day to day basis (which would be important for them given ther VIP tour guid status) and they have hear from someone else VIA the parks rides as in ..hey park ride says this aint happening ..it goes to someone else in disney then the VIP guides get told .....NOT a good system for them OR VIP guests in my view BUT Arron ( not sure i spelt correct) did a good job and tried his best given the circumstances and it was a long day for him BUT he was super helpful and realy good from what i saw! A BIG THUMBS UP FOR ARRON! ..was it worth paying for the VIP ...im still not sure TBH as it all depends when your visiting , what time etc ..i know if some rides are down be it breakdown or for maintenece that cant be helped!

I thought I read VIP picked up up at your hotel?
They can, but it would be a waste of time. You’d pay $450-$900 per hour for that drive.

We bought DVC in October 2012, went to Disney World almost every year. Staying for a week in a one bedroom with full kitchen, living room was great! We paid $120 a point for 200 points. If you buy today the cost is double. The yearly dues got to be over $2,000 this year so decided to sell. The real estate ownership was 50 years, to 2062. Sold for a loss, but once the for sale was posted, had an offer same day. We always felt ownership was worth it. So many different resorts to stay at and very Disney themed! There are resale companies out there where you can buy points at different resorts. For example, buy 50-100 points at three different resorts = 300 points. You have 11 months out to book your home resort (any one of the three). Okay I’m gonna stop. I could be a DVC salesperson 😅.
We did do the Magic behind the scenes tour on one trip - fantastic behind all four parks. The best part was walking underground at Magic Kingdom.

Planning a trip to Disney is always exciting, and aiming for 2025 gives you plenty of time to prepare! It's always best to do some research anytime you plan a trip! Best of luck.

For the hourly rate they charge, I personally did not think the service was anything special, just a random guy escorting you to skip the line. It could be a lot more wow.

@@JasonWasTHERE only about 18 times - and have no interest in going with the crazy crowds now. I’ve been to DisneyLand and live 1 hour from DisneyWorld Orlando. For the hourly rate of the “VIP” experience it was underwhelming. Unless their job is just to cut the line and get you through - and not really wow the child.
