- When I was 6 years old I sang at my mother's wedding and then the whole family realized that I could sing and then I had to sing at every family party after that. So, that's how it all started. But when I was 13 I decided more like, let's do this for real. I entered a contest and came 3rd. Then I discovered that it was fantastic to just be myself and be on stage.
- Do you have any special memory from Liseberg? - Oh.... I have visited Lotta (Lotta på Liseberg is a swedish TV-show) which was great fun. That was last year and I will join her again this year. But this is the first time I actually have a concert at Liseberg. So it's extra fun to do my own production and to invite the people of Göteborg to an entire concert.
- Maybe it was meant to be.. exacly! - How did your soundcheck went, did it went well? - Absolutley, it went excellent. We are used to this. I'm always working with the same people, so it works.
@8Twilighter6 they are talking about what he thinks about singing at Liseberg :) it was his first concert there. He also got a question from a 15 year old girl who asked if it would be too late for her to be a singer at the age of 15. he said that it wouldn't even be too late when your 40 or maybe 50 years old. His favorite color is purple. this wasn't the whole interview but at least a bit of it :)
Jag e 70talist men jag tycker iaf att denna kille har de ljuvligaste ögonen! Det hade vart kul att se honom uppträda i kväll på Liseberg. Kanske en annan gång..
- Exacly. Night in och night out? Night in. Favourite song of the new album? - Oh ehm it's various .. Timeless! There is a song called Timeless. I think it is track 1 on the album. The song means a lot to me. It was actually the fans that inspired me to write that song. Because I wish that some moments would last forever. Especially when you're standing on your own concert, when it's the last song. That moment tends to be magical and the song is partly about that.
One nice thing about concerts though is that you can choose to have people backing up instead of me singing so I can fix the dance, in some situations. But when you do television you have to always to do both things at the same time and that it is not so easy. I'm only human, not matter how hard you train, it's really hard to get there.
- Perhaps you're afraid of heights? - Yes. - You are? Haha - Yes... - Hahaha, dancing or singing? - Pass! I want to do both at once. Even if you can't do it properly. I mean, Im only human. Of course the singing part suffers a lot when you dance.
- And I have to say we are glad to have you here. - Lovely! - We asked some readers to write a few questions for you on our blog and we had quite a storm of questions from Russian fans. - Okay! - How is it that you become so popular there, do you think?
- Ehm, I don't know. We have signed about 20 countries now and and we have begun to build up an overseas launch and it's great that it has become like this already. But I don't know why. Hopefully because they like my music. - I guess so. We have another question from "Madelene" and she's wondering why you chose to be a musician and what is it that keeps you working so hard on your music?
- What is it that keeps you going? - Because I love it so much. I love writing music, sitting in the studio and sing and dance and entertain people. Entertainment is just very close to my heart. - Then we have a question here from "Kajsa" and she's wondering, she's 15 years old, is it too late to become an artist and sing? - When you're 15?
- No, that's a good answer. "Hanna" is asking, what would you prefer to do on a lovely summer day? - Eh.... oh. Probably I'm having a gig, maybe. Somewhere. But it would be fun, if I was free one day, to just had to lie on the beach completely undisturbed and just have a good time with friends and family. I think that's great.
@carmenknopp @VJArthupop @8Twilighter6 @StellaMagix @TheKeinen @MrsClaudia93 @TwilightFan276 @8Twilighter6 Translation: - Hello Eric Saade! - Tjaa! - How does it feel to be here at Liseberg? - It feels great, it will be sunny today. It was raining all morning and now the weathet cleared up and... maybe it was meant to be.
- Then I will ask you 5 quick ones.. Favourite colour? - ......Oh, purple. I think. It depends on what, but purple is.. Yeah. Favourite ride at Liseberg (Liseberg is a theme park)? - Some roller-coaster. I've only been to Liseberg once for going on rides.. I like roller-coasters. But I am a real coward, not a big fan of such things, hahah.
- No! No, certainly not! It's not too late. It's not too late if you're 30 either. Or 40 for that matter. It depends on what type of artist you want to be. If you want to be a pop artist who wants to dance and sing at the same time, then I recommend that you might not be 45 when you start because it is quite physically demanding .. And the body might not cope then. But I mean, they all do different things and artists write music. You can do that when you're 80. That doesn't matter!
Vi blir jätte glada om ni gillar och premiera
