      3 months exactly. Then I had to leave for 3 months and now I'm back in Germany for some more European adventures!

    Try Mayling'n, sounds basically like it is pronounced.
    German G is like yours in Goofy, grind, gross, green...not as in giant, Gender or generic...

      @@that_one_traveler Be aware! There is about 35% words in German coming from French and are pronounced French still.
      Regisseur (director of movies)...it's a French G.
      Genie (genius), the same.

    "...but more aggressively" when pronouncing the village's name...thanks for continuing the stereotype, dear Americans.
    Also nobody is going to shoot at you when you step onto their land. This is Europe after all
