Hare Krishna prabhuji pranam, bhot sundar katha prabhuji. Some points are:
1) Different categories of contents in Srimad Bhagavatam are: a) Samvad- This means dialogue of people with similar opinion like between Shaunak and Suta; b) Stutis-Prayers more than 122 like Kunti Stuti, Bhisma Stuti; c) Gita- Songs like Aila Gita, Bhumi Gita, Gopi Gita; d) Upakhyan like analogies allegories like Puranjana Upakhyan.
2) Srimad Bhagavatam is a scripture which is complete in itself, and it contains content for everyone and all subjects, for example if someone is lusty he will directly jump onto Rasa-lila, if someone has material desires, he will search for Dhruv Maharaj Prasang, but these examples ae not given just to imitate, but to surrender to Krsna.
3) 12 cantos of Srimad Bhagavtam are non-different from Krsna. 1st and 2nd cantos are his lotus feet, 3rd and 4th cantos are his thighs, 5th canto is his beutiful waist, 6th canto is his broad chest, 7th and 8th cantos are his long arms, 9th canto is his neck, 10th canto is his beautiful Lotus face, 11th canto is his big forehead and 12th canto is his head. That is why Srila Prabhupada ji, when going to America he said that I am not going to America, Srimad Bhagavatam is taking me along with himself.
4) We have to beware of Snakes of Sense gratification which are Lust, Anger, Greed, Lamentation(Moha), Ego and Envy, and like in rainy season when holes are filled then snakes come out, similarly we have to fill our ears with Hari Katha, Hari Amrit and not let that water dry up, so that these snakes can't enter again.
5) Just like if we sit in a Mercedes car instead of a scooter, we feel very less problems while travelling on a road, similarly after Surrender to Krsna, miseries will not immediately vanish, but we would be able to face them easily by the grace of Guru and Krsna.
