I wasn't able to install any version of windows on this laptop - gave me BCD error after first reboot. After desoldering the NEC capacitor, I still had a short circuit between the pads. It resulted that a small ceramic cap was shorted too. After replacint these two components, the notebook worked straight away.🎉
