    Danny your hat might need a little love. 😁 It's definitely a beautiful hike. We visited family in the area a few years ago that introduced us to huckleberries. OMG, soooo good!! Glad you got to see a moose. I was looking for them in the upper north east and didn't see a one. ☹ Beautiful footage!!

    Glad you use poles cause that’ll help support your hip. Understand you wanting to give it a try. It is so pretty. Bet you’ll be ready to take hikes after the surgery. Lynn will struggle to keep up with you. 😂😂. Huckleberries growing wild in the trail. So cool. I understand that’s the only way to grow them. Good to know about the fishing license. Look at that bull moose. Cool. Yes, we picked salmon berries. They are really big and good in Alaska. You MADE it. Congrats.

    This was one hike I wanted to do last year but bears was high in the area. Also, it still had snow in the area, at the end of July. So it was closed down. The only way to see Grinnell is from the Highline trail. That part of the hike was a no for me. I had to catch the bus back. If I drove in the park at 5:30am, I would have got a parking spot.
    Hopefully next time I visit Glacier National Park, I will have my passport and be in better shape.

    • @RVAmerica
      @RVAmerica  Рік тому

      So this was the lake and not the Glacier. We did not make it to the Glacier. We should have gone the extra when we did the Highline Trial, but just didn't have it in us. That trail was both amazing and exhausting. We really hope to do the Glacier thennext time we are there. Don't you just love this park! Thanks for joining us. Merry Christmas 🎅

    Must be an age thing 🤔, seems like the younger generation most likely wouldn't push through the pain, I'm not saying but I'm just saying. Next time just sit down into the glacier lake and take a cryotherapy bath, works on the inflammation, I know bone on bone but I'm sure there was some inflammation. Love that you still pushed through, way to go.
