- Well this is not what I expected when I heard the horn, but NS 5336 heads for Detroit then back to Milan as local B70 makes a drop off at Oakwood yard.

Nice catch lol. Imagine railfaning and hearing that and thinking "oh boy an ACe" and then this rounds the bend.
Love hearing him coming up to the crossing with the horn backwards, the 1L bell being the most dominant of the 4 other chimes. Nice K5LLA!
Wow very strange. I thought it was an ACe at first.
Now that is pretty impressive to see a second generation diesel single-handedly pull a freight train. Pretty cool.
Loved the short bursts lol
Makes me appreciate locals even more! Lol
Sounds amazing 😀❤️👍👍
Such a big horn for a little locomotive. XD
Nice video! my favorite type of horn
This GP38-2 basically stole a ace horn great catch!
Great horn show Ryan! Cheers, Dan
Wow!
Sick man
Great catch! It seems like that crossing at romulus turns on awful late!
woah, cool catch
With those rapid blasts of the whistle the engineer must really not like that crossing. Or maybe it is because he was running long hood forward. It does sound good though.
There were actually some MOW workers to the right of the shot so he was likely alerting them that they were coming
ok thanks.
THAT WAS JINGLE BELLS! XD
Very nice video
Woa
What Sounds Better On That Unit Is A Nathan P3 Or P5! But Anyways Awsome Catch With That Rare Stuff!
Great video. what camera do you use?
whoa!
Ns 5339 3rd gen K5LLA
That k5lla was probably a replacement from a broken horn
I HAVE HEARD THAT TRAIN HORN HERE!
GP38ACe
lol
Wish that existed
When was this
Where was this filmed?
**rubs eyes**
What locations?
who knew k5llas can be heard on locomotives other than ACes
Huh thats interesting.
plane in the background
5339*?
ok what k5lla horn on a gp38-2?
He has eight small wheels, short stumpy fans, a short stumpy exhaust, and a short stumpy hood.
You mean NS #5339
Is that normal?
Sweet K5LLA on this Horsehead GP38-2
That's a complete opposite of a Horsehead dude🤣
@@palmettostaterailfan7019 I called the Geep a Horsehead because of the fact that it's an NS engine, and Horsehead is my personal colloquial name for Norfolk Southern. I see that it's not in the Horsehead scheme.
@@hakeemsd70m ah, I see.
Ok
Hears k5lla
OMG I HOPE ITS A HERITAGE UNI-
Gp38-2 goes by instead
TrueSimplex in a way it is. I'm pretty confident this is the only GP38-2 low hood in the original NS scheme from the early 2000's left
Funny thing now, almost all NS heritage’s don’t have a normal sounding K5LLA
@@thunderfoamer ikr
Why does it have a k5lla. I thought only sd70Ace’s had k5lla’s due to clearance levels.
Probably a replacement horn
Quandale dingles rigity roo ahh GP38-2
That's 5339
wow. strange.
That aint no e-beel either!
Legit not kidding i thought this was clickbait
Train looks harmless. Horn NO
