  • Here for you 3 cool tricks to make with magnets.
Thanks to supermagnete.com for providing me with free magnets. Here the magnets used.
    Chaotic pendulum
    Pendulum : sumag.net/r-12-05-12-n-x01
    Magnets on base : sumag.net/s-06-02-n-e01
    Magnetic spinning top
    Disc : sumag.net/cs-s-15-04-n-x01
    Diamagnetic Water
This is proof that water is diamagnetic. The grid reflection is distorted because the water above the magnet forms a hump due to diamagnetic repulsion.
    Disc : sumag.net/s-20-10-n

On my channel you will find all the ways to have fun with magnets divided into 3 main categories:
Classical magnetic experiments such as magnetic levitation, homopolar motors, small magnetic weapons, Gauss cannons, gears, magnetic field viewers and much more.
Satisfaction video like the construction of magnetic sculptures, slime and magnetic putty and product review.
ASMR relaxing videos to watch but above all to listen preferably with stereo headphones to be able to appreciate the particular sounds of the magnets

    About Magnetic Games:
All ways to have fun with magnets.
The magnetism has always intrigued me. The strength of the magnets is scientifically explainable but there's something "magical" about its interaction with the world. My Channel offers you curious experiments and fun games to do with magnets.

Can anyone explain the science behind the water trick? Im leaning towards the dipole moment of the water molecules becoming aligned and having more of a "concentrated" structure giving that bending of light illusion

I *think* the idea is, when the water is just left to do its thing, the surface of the water is flat. And the surface of the water is a little reflective. A flat reflective surface will show a reflection of a regular grid as, well, a regular grid.
And this would be the same as if, say, a regular old rock were in the water, as long as it's fully submerged. But a magnet, even fully submerged, makes the surface of the water bend away from its naturally perfectly flat shape. What you're seeing is the reflection made by the surface of the water - and because the reflection is not a perfect grid, near the magnets, you can conclude that the surface is not flat near the magnets. Even though the magnets are fully submerged, they are altering the shape of the surface of the water. And that shows that magnetic fields interact with water.

@@hughobyrne2588 I was also seeing this as how planets warp space.

    • @hughobyrne2588
      @hughobyrne2588 Рік тому

@@rohultima Since the effect here is really dependent on the properties of the substance, properties of water specifically, it doesn't work so well as a metaphor or model for space itself, independent of the material that carries property that makes the effect - unless you demonstrate a property of space which corresponds in some way to the diamagnetic property of the water molecule.

With a relatively big magnet like 2 * 2 cm in shallow water, you can see diamagnetic effect just with the reflection of the light bulb above : it becomes deformed when reaching the magnet because there is a "bump" in the water.

    Can you explain slipgates???
There's a sliding rail on top of the vehicle...the electromagnets turn on in sequence propelling the craft forwards and the rail slides...at the end of the rail the magnets turn of and the rail readjusts to the rear...

Can someone explain to me how this effect works please??
How come I can see the curvature?
Is this related to the magnetic field?
Or is that just an optical effect?
Maybe this is because H2o is a dipole molecule?
(Sorry, maybe bad English, from Germany 😅)

. . the first example is either perpetual motion -- or proof that magnetism is a source of energy -- or a conduit for a source of energy that is unacknowledged by mainstream science
