Drain plug is a 24metric if it's the same as my 08 kia rondo like it seems to be. Kia/ Hyundai recommends every 32,000 kms or 20,000 miles. Easy to do yourself but only Drain and fill! Don't ever machine flush. Good video.👍

i need to replace my box, so im assuming i have to remove the entire engine
with the arragement of the ttrans being where the battery is, is yours a external filter or spin on oil filter

Why would you take so much time to measure how kuch you drained when you can simply measure against the dipstick?
My car has been overfilled by the previous owner yet I too drained 4L of oil. I can't put 4L back in else it will still be overfilled

Did you check on the dip stick if you had the right amount in the transmission before you did the drain and if so did you check transmission when it was cold or hot. Also was check done with engine running it park?? Let viewers know. Thanks !!!

The filter in this model is un sevicable , you cant reach it , its hidden and only at ( gearbox overhaul ) you can change it , so you should keep it as clean as possible by do ATF change every 30000 miles ( about 40000km)

Should I change the ATF on a 2007 Sonata 2.4 ? It has NEVER been changed and has done 143,000 miles. Still runs silky smooth.

I have the same car with 100k miles and transmission fluid needs to be replaced. But going to the dealership to get this done because many mechanics don't want to touch it. But I am only asking for a drain and fill, no flush. I got the car at 83k miles so, I don't know the history. Drain and fill seems like the safe bet here.

EVERY bolt on a Hyundai is METRIC. They did NOT use SAE bolts. I own an 02 Sonata and an 06 Tiburon. There is not a single sae bolt in them. These aren't 60s muscle cars.
