I lived in Colorado Springs from 1987 to 1992. Seven Falls has definitely changed since then. I tried doing the stairs to the top, but didn't make it and had to come down backwards because my fear of heights kicked in. So, I really enjoyed this video.
I used to vacation every summer in Colorado Springs. We had family friends that lived there. I saw the sign say open from 9am to 4:45 pm. I remember going at night. The falls would be lit up and looked gorgeous! Are they not doing that anymore?
Hey thanks all the way from Hawaii - armchair surfing for our vacay next year - found this super informative - also love how you covered the restaurant and the food! Aloha!
Great vid! So many of the Vlogs out there are just aggravating and a waste of time with unecessary irrelavent info and scenes, but this is on point! Great local knowledge! We're going in June and can't wait to see Seven Falls and other awesome CO including Above & Beyond at Red Rocks woohoo.
Thanks for the kind words! June is a great time of year to visit, our area has a lot to offer. If you have any questions about what to do here, feel free to reach out!
I live in Florence my parents are coming from Louisiana in July for my birthday I am definitely taking them to see this!! Thank you for the video so much!!
Colorado Springs is really beautiful...Loved your video...I have seen Seven Falls..it's wonderful.I am from Denver, visited The Garden of the Gods recently - must see spectacular natural wonder....I captured in my camera too! Warm Regards!
Thank you for this video. I saw your video on the Manitou Incline, clicked a thumbnail and watched another video about Manitou Springs itself, then watched this one. My wife and I are looking for more places like this to visit, ready get out of the city and enjoy nature.
Hi Marc, You can see all the attractions around the region at pikes-peak.com/attractions too. That has hours, prices and details for each attraction, including short videos. We also have live chat on our site if you have questions. Hope to see you soon!
Thank you guys, you are great! We decided to finally go to Seven Falls tomorrow (May29) we want to go also to Pikes Peak... Seven Falls will be the first one.
Currently a resident but have been coming here for many years. Although I understand the need for preservation, the commercialization of the attractions bothers me. It seems like every time we turn around the cost to enjoy the wonders of the Springs keeps going up.
To @stephcampbell9095: I grew up in Colorado Springs, and when I go visit my sis, who still lives there, it bothers me, a lot, that everything is so touristy. I wish time could stand still. We used to go to The Seven Falls every Christmas (back when there was a lot of snow in Colorado Springs), and the Falls had a beautiful Christmas display, complete with religious and some non-religious Christmas music piped out of these huge speakers, which had been attached to the trees that grew along the road that people are no longer able to drive up. I know it sounds absolutely garish, but it was beautiful. The amount of hard work that must have taken to set that up, and all for only a donation. There was no fee for seeing The Seven Falls, back then. I was rather amused when I saw on the prices sign that there are “no refunds given due to bad weather.” The positive thing about this beautiful place that is touristy now, is that it is being preserved, well managed, for all the people that have flooded into Colorado Springs to live in the past years. When my family first moved there, Colorado Springs was not very big; in fact, it was a big deal when an amendment was put on the ballet on whether or not to annex Manitou Springs to Colorado Springs. Some of the changes I think are for the best, like not allowing people to drive right up to the Falls. Also, there is no longer a Christmas set up, apart from lighting up the Falls in the different colors associated with Christmastime. And of course, The Seven Falls can’t be seen unless one can afford the fee.
I think it’s great that man’s best friend is allowed at The Seven Falls, but I’m wondering, is poop scoop duty required, and if so, where does one throw the used plastic bag(s).
Lived in Colorado Springs from 1972-1976.
Never got the chance to visit. Yet Thanks to you kids? I just did! Thanks so muches!

We're so glad you enjoyed it Stephanie! Those stairs are a butt kicker in more ways than one!
I enjoyed watching this. The presentation was well done, by an affable and handsome young man. Greetings from Israel.

It all depends on the time of year! They do nights mainly in the summertime and light them up around the holidays :)
Watching your video on Mannitou Incline, then watched this! Beautiful! Hoping to visit these 7 falls! Best Regards to all of you there! 👍😀 God Bless!

Unfortunately every small business we know has been impacted by rising costs the last few years. It seems inescapable.

Excellent job guys!! Nice detailed video and information.
Thank you, Amit!

It is required that you clean up after your dogs and there are trash cans all throughout the park!
Thanks, very informative!
Thank you!
Great video, thanks!
Thanks for watching!
We’re in CS now and just found out that 7 falls is closed, can u still hike the road leading there or is that not permitted?
Unfortunately the road leading to the falls is closed. There is Helen Hunt Falls close by that is open!
Nice
Thank you so much for the info .
You’re so welcome!
Very nice. we will be there this September!!
Is the trail (path) going to the base of the falls, stroller friendly? I have a baby.
Yes, the path is totally stroller friendly and there is also an elevator that will take you to the top of the falls!
think im sold for going here for vacation in end of may.
Yay! Let us know if you have any questions on things to do :)
Perfect tour of the falls! Thank you so much!

Do they still light the falls up at night?
They haven't had enough staff to stay open that late. Hours are more limited this year unfortunately!
Nice Time endind Numbers
I live in Colorado springs and had no idea this was here.
Surprise!
Hermoso lugar hace años fui ❤
It is beautiful! Glad you enjoyed your time here!
Well done!
Why does the video quality look so crummy?
Even though it was recorded on a DSLR?
Weird - it looks okay on our end. Maybe it's not rendering properly.
saludos Desdemona alavama
Is it still lit up at night?
Yes it is!
Bears?
If they're out of breath I sure won't make it
That music yikes
Not your jam? 😀
