Beautiful vlog! As for the glass dishes, those are very nice pieces. I would make a meal in them and give them to a sick friend or new mom and tell them that you don't want the dishes back. They are to keep them or if they don't need them, maybe they can pay it forward when they are feeling better. It would be so nice to receive a meal in a nice dish rather than a disposal foil pan. You save money and the environment.
Once we realize the power of prayer our lives are never the same.God is right there waiting for us to talk with Him! I don't understand how people live without Him to talk to cry with but most of all to praise.
Marketing! Exactly Dawn! Such an important topic that should continually be discussed to remind people of the unnecessary products and the pressures placed on people to buy them. Bravo! 🤗
Thank you ladies for your love for Jesus. I look forward to seeing you every Sunday. Thank you for the reminder that there is no Plan B. It's Plan God.
I have always prayed but struggled with Gods timing in answering. As I've gotten older I realize he is always faithful and knows when prayers should be answered.
These Sunday chats fill my heart each week! Thank you for speaking Biblical truth. I really needed this encouragement to be persistent in prayer. So thankful for a loving Savior! 💕💗❤️
Pyrex is cheap and thrift stores always have it. So if you decide to become a pie maker some day then it’s easy enough to replace. Or borrow one from you mom or a friend. :) I really like the idea of putting away things and adding back if you really need it. I love your Sunday messages. Please continue to do them. ❤️ I look forward to Minimal Mom uploads more than any other channel I subscribe to.
Once again you've shared what I needed to hear. I've been struggling with an unanswered prayer and practically have given up. Thank you for your encouraging words. 💕
Blessings to you friend! Praying for renewed tenacity and energy and that you'll feel the Lord's presence as you continue to press in, that you'll feel that you're truly co-laboring with Him and aren't fighting this battle alone! ♥️
You have been placed in my and others to change our lives... and expanded our territory/space by we rid ourselves of more than we need.. So Dawns prayer is being fulfilled through teaching us that we don’t need all the stuff..Praise God for you both!!!
This video drove my daughter Crazzzzzzy!!! She is an 18 year old baking SuPa stAR who loves to bake with 13 bowls going. She loves taking grandmas stuff out and it gives her memories back. So now I own 3 and she grumbles as she bakes so I let her know she brought back my childhood memories of baking with my mom😳♥️ Then we had a wooden spoon slap off. Thank you for your channel ❤️
im a missionary in indonesia, this has been the most encouraging thing i have heard in months. huge hugs guys! i love your channel and feel like you have been my friend lately, encouraging me so much in my home.... God is good.
THANK YOU for the sweet devotional... it is the third time that someone has brought this story of the persistent widow to my attention, God is clearly encouraging me in my prayers for a loved one, especially today when things seem not to be moving or changing. I will not lose hope. You guys were just what I needed today!
I love the way Diana referred to a spiritual realm beyond our understanding. I've known people who have claimed that evil surrounds us at all times, which just sounds threatening and not helpful. Also, I've been holding onto a pie plate just like that (but it's cobalt blue) and have not used it in years. Out it goes!
Who knew that when I found you YESTERDAY whilst looking for decluttering inspiration, that I would get THIS video the next morning? ! So excited to have found you! Are you twins? Thank you for the encouragement this morning!
Thank you both for your beautiful Sunday messages. They touch my heart so much. I'm commenting right now with tears in my eyes after watching this one because your messages are such a gift I can share with my own family and friends. I have two daughters, one your age and one a couple years older. I have a dear friend going through a lot right now as well. I have sisters who are struggling in life. Passing on your videos has been such a blessing to them and to me. Thank you Dawn and Diana. I love you both. Deb L, Indiana
Your encouragement is so appreciated. I love you two. I look forward to all the minimal mom videos, but the faith and simple living videos are inspiring.
Many times we go out and buy a specific tool or pan . To only be used once. We should be encouraged to ask one of our friends..family..neighbors to borrow or barter for things.. it encourages community as well. And would be less of an impact on the environment. This was a wonderful video💕
I am now 6 months into what started as decluttering and progressed into minimalism and just this morning I'm still working with my serving and mixing bowls (colored and glass ones) lol. To avoid any regret I am evaluating it and whatever I don't use within 2-6 months will be donated. It's so funny because I have gotten victory over the very hard things for me like the kids clothes and their books but these glass serving items such as the pie plate, mixing bowls, mason jars is an "issue". This has definitely been a journey and I think some things take extra time. Like it took me 4-5x to get my bookcase at a place where only the best or still useful very limited books are in it. One day who knows- the bookcase may be gone. The day I finally realized the the "Joy of Cooking" cookbook was only an item that *I* felt every kitchen/hutch should have (but never looked through or opened) made me laugh as I realized I passed over that book until the 3rd time decluttering that area. I just read that scripture the other day, I'm reading in Luke right now, and it is a beautiful scripture "...and shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him..." (Luke 18:7) Awesome thoughts!
NEEDED this encouragement for persevering prayer TODAY -- TIMELY! Thank you so very much, Dawn & Diana. Needed your prayer at the end too, having a hard time praying on my own.
Love your Sunday talks. And when the two of you both went "out" with your thumbs up and out to side at the same time, my heart lept a little. You two are just so connected and it's lovely to see.
Thank you ladies, Eloheim works through you for sure! Just needed to hear this message today! It bought some encouragement and tears God bless you both and your families xx
I just love these Sunday devotionals they really are a time of centering down and just focusing on what's important. Diana, you have a true gift with explaining The Word. Love seeing you both on Sunday's! -Sally Reinke
And thank you sooo much for having the bravery to speak about your faith and appreciation in the Lord. It’s more and more difficult to do something as simple as talk about my love for Jesus without getting hate comments or people simply belittling or mocking it. It hurts to hear it so often, but seeing ladies like you being so open and loving about the Lord on UA-cam gives me hope.♥️
Thank you. This made me cry. My husband has been gone (deployed) rather unexpectedly since our baby was 6 weeks old and he is about to be 3 months old this week. Our older son also turned 2 years old right after he left. Almost every nap time and bedtime, as I lay our oldest down, part of the prayer was pleading for God to send my husband back sooner than planned (and of course praying for safety) as well as wisdom, love, patience and endurance for me in dealing especially with the 2-year-old while also trying to take care of the infant. I just recently received word that his deployment is being cut much shorter than expected and he should be home soon! I also realized last night that I haven't struggled as much the past couple of days with how to respond to my toddler: God really has been granting me the wisdom, love, and patience for which I have been pleading. And I don't feel as tired as I did before: God is giving me the endurance to make it through. I hadn't thought about that story you shared this whole time, but it really hit home that he really does respond as we pray earnestly. I know that doesn't mean deployments will always be cut short etc, but He responds. If the response is "no" to the change of circumstances, then He gives us what we need to get through. Thank you for making all of your videos. I found your channel not long ago and almost every night since my husband has been gone have listened to videos from you as I cleaned up the kitchen and living room etc. I have even been able to simplify a few things taking 5 or 10 minutes before I go to bed to go through things. I have been surprised how much I have been through with just those little tidbits of time almost every day. It has helped give me something to aim for besides just surviving through this time with my two sweet little boys (who can utterly exhaust their Mommy.) Thank you in general for all your videos, but also for these faith ones. I will be praying for you two tonight, God is already using you, but praying He continues to do so in more crazy awesome ways.
Wow I needed to hear this message today Diana. Thank you for encouraging me to continue to pray for my husband and children, every day. Love hanging out with you both here 💗
Going to a not so easy time in my life!!! And you 2 are a Beautiful Bless in my life!!! Thank you for finding time for sharing this with us. God bless you all
Praise God! I so needed to hear that message. Many blessings to the both of you and your families. Love from Jennifer, all the way from Melbourne Australia.🥰
Thank you both so much for this message. I have been praying for years for the salvation of my loved ones, and also for deliverance for myself from debilitating and tormenting nightmares. Sometimes I do lose hope that I will ever get relief on this side of heaven, and thus far no one in my family is saved (2 children, 2 grandchildren, brothers, sisters, neices, nephews and their extended families). But God is good so I must not lose heart. God bless you both and your families.
The more I pray and the older I grow the more God blesses me with increased Faith. At one time I found myself living in fear ( my default mode) and God encouraged me with these verses and others in the Bible to pray and to write out my prayers each day. He has been so faithful to me in calming my fears through my prayers.♥️Beautiful prayer. Amen. I look forward to your Sunday devotional.
Wow! Thank you so much for these Sunday blogs- what a blessing! This week's vlog has truly encouraged me and was just what I needed to hear right now. I thank God for your both and keep them coming. Enjoying listening right here in the UK.
God is so good! Thank you for sharing this message. I was wrongly taught to ask God more than once was a lack of faith. I realized as Diane was teaching the parable, that it isn't a lack of faith on my part. It is putting my faith in God that He will answer my prayers according to His will. Thank you again for these vidoes. I look forward to watching them.
This is a great word of encouragement for today, November 7, 2020! We must continue to stand and speak the Word of the Lord in our country and to the world. Thanks sisters😊
I'm so glad that you're talking about this. It took me the longest time of aspiring to live simply to realize that the flow of incoming stuff has to stop in order to keep and maintain a truly simple, essential home with only stuff I need. I have no problem getting rid of stuff but those thrifting and Target runs buying other than essential items are what will truly help me maintain the decluttered house.
I want a Minimalist video for people who cook, bake and can their own food! I saw your baking supplies and chuckled as I have a whole cabinet devoted to baking! I love your videos they have been so inspiring and I have been clearing out well but I'm a bit stalled in the kitchen.
This blessed me in so many ways . Thank you sisters for being obedient to our Lord and giving hope and encouragement to the body of Christ. May God bless you both in abundance.
I love these episodes! I love hearing y’all laugh together! That was a beautiful, uplifting devotion and I love the pictures and prayer! Thanks for reminding us to look up 🥰
Thank you both so much for sharing your video!! You have no idea how your words helped me today how it changed the horrible things going thru my mind all day. Thank you! I really needed to hear this today!
Yes!!! "For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen (so be it), unto the glory of God by us (2 Corinthians 1:20)." Thank you for the encouragement!
"Nowhere does Jesus make provisions for if prayer isn't answered"... love love love that! "Every time we pray something is happening" thank you for these encouraging words
So funny I just bought that pie plate!! We use pie plate almost weekly....family of 6 for quiche, Mexican pizza, chicken or beef pot pie, fruit pie, rolls....I can't imagine not having one...I may have 2😉 so funny how people are so different. Love your videos!
I personally would throw away a metal pie plate and save the pyrex glass pie plate. I do have some high end (expensive) metal cake pans. I do agree with "MOST" of the Minimalist Life Style. Enjoyed Sunday Bible Study. Thanks for your time. God Bless & Be With Your Families.
@@112209finch Mexican Pizza is kind of one of those things we personalize depending one who is eating. Plus I am one of "those people" who doesnt have recipes written down I I go with a my instincts. I am starting to write them down for kids though. The crust we have used crescent sheets which is good. But more often we use flour tortillas. Whatever size we have. The burrito size or course is big enough to slide into wedges. Taco size are more of a per person pizza. You'll need about 3 shells per pizza The "meat" base: whatever you prefer...ground turkey, ground beef, even shredded chicken. Taco Seasoning , salsa, shredded cheese, Ragu liquid cheese or Queso cheese, Taco or enchilada sauce. shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, black olives, sour cream, refried beans. Baby food carrots 😊 1. Spray pan with some kind of oil. We use olive or avocado. Place a shell on pan. 2. Brown your meat in pan as you would for tacos, adding seasonongs and shredded carrots and/or 2 jars of baby food carrots. (Yup! with the one packet of seasoning per lb of meat you wont notice the baby food carrots. But you sneak veggies onto dish! I sneak baby food into lots of things, they have not clue!) 3. Start layering! WE do layer of meat or refried beans, layer of cheese (liquid or shredded . Then tortilla, another layer of meat and cheese, top with 3rd tortilla. Top layer depends on preference, small amount of meat (boys favorite), enchilada sauce and cheese, or just cheese or just sauce. 4, Bake at 325 for about 10 mins. Till shell is crispy and cheese melted. 5. Remove from oven and top with lettuce, tomato, olives, shredded cheese, sour cream. whatever you like.! Cut into pizza wedges and enjoy!! One of the kids favorites and so easy. Also you could just put out some Chips and make nachos instead. I make a big batch and we have left overs for 2-3 meals.
I LOVE THIS! This is my first faith video of yours (I’ve been a subscriber because of your other videos!) and this is amazing! Keep doing these, it’s awesome! Thank you!
I have that exact pie plate, but it was a hand me down. I use it for cheeseburger pie and quiche. I don’t have any metal baking pans besides my cookie sheets and roasting pans.
One way I’ve found that has really helped me in being able to part with things is to think about how I can bless someone else with what I am giving away. Case in point, I use those two dishes Diana is parting with (mine were also wedding gifts 9 years ago!) ALL the time, but there’s other wedding gifts I rarely if ever used, but hopefully they were just what another person needed and were delighted to find at a thrift store. 😻
I've been watching your videos for about 6 months, starting just prior to moving out of our home where we raised 3 kids. Very helpful information on helping me pare down, and get rid of a lot of our accumulation, as well as reorganizing in a new place. And then, here is my favorite pie plate. I have 2, at one time I think I had 3! Holidays, mine get used a lot. In between, they're good for dips that get heated, quiches, chicken pot pies, cookie pie desserts and so much more. But, the key is if you use it or not. I love someone else's idea for gifting a meal in it. If you get it back, you might have to gift again!
Yes! I was just thinking we need to talk about this during the week, too, adding it to "the list" 😉♥️😘
Thank you for these Sunday devotionals. Each one seems to be just what I need to hear. Thank you for taking the time to put them together each week.
Thank you Nancy!!! Blessings to you!! ♥️😊
Thank you ladies for your love for Jesus. I look forward to seeing you every Sunday. Thank you for the reminder that there is no Plan B. It's Plan God.
Yes, love this!!! ♥️♥️♥️
I love the talk about simpifying and decluttering then talk about faith!😊I am a Christian minimalist as well !
I've discovered that less stuff means I have more time for outside activities which I enjoy way more than cleaning!
Pretty much all I could think was about to do a QQq
My granddaughter Maryn (9 yrs) watched this with me. It prompted a good talk. Thank you!!
Ah, that's so cool!! Blessings to you both!!!♥️♥️
I have always prayed but struggled with Gods timing in answering. As I've gotten older I realize he is always faithful and knows when prayers should be answered.
Well said Tanya!! Amen!! ♥️

Oh my! What an encouragement!! Our prayers are clearing the air so God can move!!! Thanks for sharing!
Amazing...I just explained to someone yesterday - no more plan B's. Solely trusting God. Thanks so much for the encouragement.

Thank you! I look forward to these each Sunday!
Thank you Alanna!!! ♥️

You both are such a blessing to me. My tribe of far away 💐
This is my favorite Sunday video so far! Thank you ladies!
Thank you Tawny!!! :)
So funny I just bought that pie plate!! We use pie plate almost weekly....family of 6 for quiche, Mexican pizza, chicken or beef pot pie, fruit pie, rolls....I can't imagine not having one...I may have 2😉 so funny how people are so different. Love your videos!
Love this!! My mom called after this to justify her pie plate 😉 thank you for the kind words!!! ♥️
Mexican pizza!? Yum! Recipe?
You'll need about 3 shells per pizza
The "meat" base: whatever you prefer...ground turkey, ground beef, even shredded chicken.
Taco Seasoning , salsa, shredded cheese, Ragu liquid cheese or Queso cheese, Taco or enchilada sauce. shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, black olives, sour cream, refried beans.
Baby food carrots 😊
I sneak baby food into lots of things, they have not clue!)
This was SO encouraging. Just wonderful. And I'm not just talking Pyrex...
I needed to hear this. Thank you and God bless from WV.
Great video! I knew what would happen to that pie plate as soon as I saw Dawn's face at 0:32. Reminds me of myself & my sis!
Hahaha!!! You know me too well Julie!!! 😉♥️👍
I have 2 glass pie pans (I never used), I added marbles and turn it into a turn table. Now it holds my spices.
That's a great idea!!! ♥️
You can always bake some cookies or a cassarole and give it away as a gift. Pie plate or pyrex dish and all.
Love these morning chats. Look forward to them
Thank you Kris! We appreciate that!!! ♥️😘
Thank you girls for that encouragement.
