Quick correction: Turkey is not an Arab state so the word “other” when you’re saying “Other Arab states” is very misleading. Thanks for the detailed video, learned a lot.
Im always confused with that side of world..everyone look same and speak same but dont like each others 😅
@@pl2305 I don't think Turkish people look the same with most Arabs as they have a lot more darker skin compared to Turkish.
@@pl2305 Speak same? lol
@@pl2305 Turkish and arabic languages are totally different. And we dont look like arabs.
@@pl2305 just listen a Turkish entry in Turkish language and sure it sounds overly different from Arabic.
Poor Enzo Guzman
He couldn’t participate 2 times
Lebanon and maruvs one are my favorites
Can’t believe the original song for North Macedonia 2013 was actually great
7:00 Yulia Samoylova was banned in 2017, not 2018!
Romania could've done really well in 2016. Wonder whose spot they would've taken in the final, since all the songs that made it from the second semi (which Romania would've competed in) were actually really good.
Maruv is a LEGend (pun intended)... saw her live, talked to her on her instagram live and she is just an amazing and lovely person! She will be on wiwibloggs concert on 13th of may so tune in!!!
I remember 1979 as a turk. Unfortunately they had i guess some type of political power against us that i dont really know because i was not born. But its not "other arabic countries", its "arabic countries". Because turks are not arabic.
It was fixed in my updated video ua-cam.com/video/QUlOzmQzkEs/v-deo.html
Could not stop the tears when at the whole contest.......
Updated: 🇧🇾Belarus 2021: "I'll teach you" by Galasy ZMesta is rejected by EBU!!!
Cant wait to update this video 🥳
Would the non-qualifying contestants in 96 also not be counted as entries that never got to perform on the Eurovision stage? They were DQ'ed by juries before the show.
Patrick Jepsen I choose not to include them bc it was a element of the contest that year and was considered the a semifinal so I left them all out 🥺
@@peopipeo Fair :) Reasonable
OMG!! When I discovered this some years ago and heard the songs, I was so mad at the juries, Germany and Romania were amazing. Germany could have reached a top5 result.
You forget Malta in 2016 😊
The initial entry was Chameleon and Ira Losco has changed it
You forgot Croatia's 1992 song which won the national final but Croatia didn't join EBU on time for the contest. Magazin - Aleluja
France 2004 sounds good.
Kennet honestly It isn’t bad I think they should have kept it 🤔
@@peopipeo By the way, where did you find the audio?
Kennet from UA-cam you mean?
@@peopipeo I searched for it. Couldn't find it.
Kennet I’ll give you the Link
Ukraine 2010: Vazyl Lazarovich - I Love You
Malta 2016: Ira Losco - Chamelon
Also Juan Manuel Sherat's La La La sung In Catalan (1968)
There's also a video of Pizmon Chozer performed at the Israeli Song Festival on UA-cam
When you will making updated video, don't forgot about Malta in 1990 and 2016
Just uploaded my updated video, Check it out : )!
@@peopipeo l saw, amazing!
What about Ira Losco - Chameleon (Malta 2016) ??
When the updated version?
Very soon, turn on notifications to get an update for when the video is released! :)
@@peopipeo already did, and now im listening to boys and girls from belarus 2005, its very "beautiful"
@@vald6183 just updated the video, it on my channel now ! :)
You forgot the Liechtensteiner attempt in 2011 as well. They got rejected for the same reasons you have mentioned with the Liechtensteiner entry in your video.
Србија I know, I didn’t add that here bc they didn’t have an entry but I did have them in my other video ua-cam.com/video/fSIAYk-6P8M/v-deo.html
Peopipeo They had an entry, it has even a video here on UA-cam^^
There is also Malta’s Chameleon by Ira Losco
4:42 Maganyos Csonak is the saddest for me, beautiful song
I thought Eurovision 2010 Ukraine had a singer sing "l love you"
Μάρκος Tube yeah there was but it was impossible for me to find the song and I forgot to add it in bc I couldn’t find it :(
ua-cam.com/video/kiXK1PGzANM/v-deo.html vasil lazarovich only live exists it's funny that song came second in selection also "I love you" by Masha Sobko ua-cam.com/video/V5AiSppibNw/v-deo.html
Now this should be interesting! 1996 will feature prominently thanks to that stupid pre qualification round
I excluded the eliminated songs from 1996’s Pre qualification round bc it was a part of the contest. But All other entries are in here :)
True I guess they technically were part of 1996 :)
It was basically a prototype of the semi-final system that we have
Reminds me how much I love Flame is Burning from Yulia.. Her entry the following year is just mehh
I personally loved both songs sm
For me flame is burning is meh but I can’t stand I won’t break
She obviously was struggling the staging was awful and the whole thing was just a mess
Maruv in my heart. One of the best ❤️
I would add the songs that couldn't enter because of some Pre Qualification Rounds. 1993 had a few songs missing their debut and if I am right Romania and Hungary was turned down for the 1996 contest too
There were some more in 1996.
Germany,
Denmark,
Israel,
Macedonia,
and Russia missed out as well.
Malta 2016 - Chameleon changed to Walk on Water too :)
Greece 2016: ERT didn‘t like Eleni Foureira!
was she selected?
duralkan no, nor was Anna Vissi in 1977! ERT simply didn‘t like her!
Gets 2nd for Cyprus 2 years later
What a Shame , There's True Talented Singer's 🎶 Here, At Least We All Get To Hear Them Now! Hopefully They Never Gave Up in Following Their Own Dream's.👏👍👍
Germany 2015: "He din´t want to go to Eurovision". Lucky bastard. hahahaha
Also there is one interesting issue with Requiem by Alma, it was not the original 'Requiem' that we saw in Kiev, because it was supposed that the original Requiem was already heard before dead line so they decided to make the 'Requiem - Eurovision Version'
5:13 - This is so much better than their actual entry that year
Okay, the end was very sad 😭
2020 be like everyone
Poor Enzo Gusman! His song sounded so modern for 1974 :)
And Germany definitely would not have gotten 0 points of Andreas went :)
Euro- -Towelie that’s what I thought when I was editing the video 🤔
Euro- -Towelie Andrea’s Song was amazing in my opinion. It was a pearl for me. WTF he did. I dislike Sophie’s song. She didn’t deserve nul point but the song wasn’t good IMO.
So many good songs this year! SO MANY! So many more than previous years. They'll all have to have new songs for next year. q__q
2:57 Wasn't this song released in 1984 and that's why withdrew?
And now, all of this year's entries
2018 Russia should say 2017. She was allowed to perform in Portugal in 2018 with a new song but not 2017 in Ukraine
hopefully Belarus 2021 will be added to this list
I’m waiting to make a new video with Belarus 2021 :)
You can see it now on my channel :)
Omg Belarus 2005 make me think of Albania 2009 so much
