Hay Daniel, I'm so glad I watched this video because I had no idea you were supposed too feed every week. Thank you for all your advice. As always God bless and take care when your out there on the streets.
Another thing I did was make a 4-5 ft hose to put between facet and siphon injector. Handy for cleaning pitcher and refilling jug. Don’t have to lift jug to refill since the jug needs be completely full to work properly.
I installed 2 of those last year. One in my garden and 1 for my wife's flowers. I never even have to think about watering or feeding the plants. Everything is on drip irrigation. The hanging baskets are doing great, lots of flowers and the foliage is green and healthy. I just dump in the fertilizer about every 2 weeks and let the system run. Never had a problem with over or under fertilizing. My corn is a lot taller than anybody else's I have seen so far this year. I have talked to Travis at Hoss Tools and he is great, very knowledgeable and helpful. Some people complain about you doing commercials but I think of it as educating folk. There are other systems available and other methods of doing things. I guess if I had a supply of bull crap handy I might use that, but unlike some people I don't spread the crap around. I doubt you could find a large scale vegetable grower that doesn't use chemicals so it must work.
I just bought this system from Hoss and it's awesome! I use 20-20-20 with micro nutrients that my local farm supply carries and my plants are thriving. It's a great system and worth every penny. Hoss actually sells it for less than Amazon does too and if you throw a couple seed packs on to make your order $100 it ships free.
Great system. Arnold Romppai made a good point about 'some' chemical fertilizers. With your all goats, you could make a goat manure tea to put in your injector. Heck, why stop there? Make a manure tea with cow , goat, chicken, etc (no people poo). Then add the strained solids to your compost pile.
Thank you for taking us threw this system. Please tell DJ that her flowers on the patio area are fantastic. They were flourishing in the video when Emmalee got the gift package.
I’ve use same system from OM for a couple of years now. I take empty 2 1/2 gal jugs to my AG fertilizer provider and get liquid of various ratios at bulk prices. (Helps when your giving them AG business). Then only a matter of figuring out proper mix to get amount of NPK desired. They have 28 0 0 and 10 32 0 thus 1 gal of the first mixed with 2 gal of second would yield a 16 21 0. Can add a little K if needed. One needs to remember the numbers represent percentages.
I am glad that you still allow comments on your channel I just read that youtube is cutting off comments. I think that is bad news. I would like to support users more by buying shirts and hats and becoming a member of their patron special accounts but not able to at this time.
They are cool. I've used a system like that but a bit larger to fertilize 50 acres of navel oranges. Each tree had its own mister. And it seemed to work great.
Hey Daniel, I was just looking at this very early this morning before you posted this video. So I was thrilled you posted a video on it. I do believe I will be purchasing this for my gardens too.
What are some good mixtures for this? Can you add stuff like molasses, beer, etc. I'm thinking of adding fish emulsion and a little bit of sugar for the bacteria.....
How are you fertilizing without calculating the amount of drip tape and square footage. I’m growing a small garden -300 sq feet. How are you fertilizing with the whole bag in system? Can’t seem to figure out the calculations.
The numbers on a fertilizer container are not complicated if one always remembers they are percentages, not wt or parts per whatever. Percentages are the only nomenclature that work no matter the wt of the container or what type the material (slow release, water soluble, liquid, etc.) For example any container that is a 20 20 20 contains 20%N 20%P & 20%K. Depending on the wt or volume of the container one can then calculate the actual amount of each nutrient. A 10 lb bag of 20 20 20 would contain 2 lbs N--2 lbs P--2 lbs K. If two 10 lb bags of 20 20 20 are mixed, then one would have 20 lbs of 20 20 20; however the mix would then contain 4 lbs N 4 lbs P & 4 lbs K.
Nice system.👍 I'm putting in a misting system for my front yard. Since its windy here most days it will be ideal. I'm setting it up to work with the wind 🌬🌬🌬🌬🌬🌬 Our wind now is from the N.W it will change to the S.W later... I hope this work's. It will be on a timer also.. You have a great garden and you & your videos give me inspiration! Blessings to All.. 🕊❤Jeanne on the Oregon coast
I just saw a video that said if temps get over 85 for a few days, then tomato plants will shed their blossoms. Since you mentioned the heat, I thought of that, but I don't know if you have tomatoes planted inside the high-tunnel.
Thanks for the video. I realize you did this about a year ago. Do you still use it and like it? Do you use that on the wick buckets? We're trying to learn how to automate filling the wick buckets and if we could use drip irrigation and how that would work exactly. If you could do an update on that, we'd appreciate it!
Okay so I could take the 'white' piece and attach it DIRECTLY to my house's Water Spicket and then attach the hose, exactly the way you showed us and just use my hose and whatever 'fixture' on the end of that I wanted, right?
What’s your opinion and experience with this fertilizer tank? Are the coupling/fittings made for US hose? I’m reading not so good reviews on Amazon about it? Specially about the tank leaking and cracking.
The Hoss Tools fertilizer tool seems simple to install and use. How often do you have to add more fertilizer? Very instructive and informative video. Thanks for sharing.
I would love to have that!!! I fertilize my garden with a 5 gallon bucket and a small bucket for scoop!! Check out my garden and you can see just how many 5 gallon buckets it takes to fertilize! 😂 garden looks good!!
He should just tell you is the easy flow. Hostas got easy flow and slapped their own sticker on it. If you buy a hoss, you'll get a booklet and everything in there. It says easy flow except the pictures that they switched out.
Don’t you think the fertilizer tank is really small compared to your garden and therefore you would fertilize quite often and you will face the hustle of going to open the tank every now and then.
@@ArmsFamilyHomestead No it's not that...just miss the old days like when you built your bridge. Just simple good folks making their homestead, family, and friends a GREAT source of content for a form of entertainment I really miss.

Nice system so you dont need to worry did I water today.. while doing the 101 other things that need tending too....
Have a beautiful day...
I have one of those, but it is not a hoss tools brand. Mine is still in the box. I haven't got around to installing it yet. Nice to see one work.
Awesome video as always, Daniel, you and your family have a wonderful evening, God Bless

Thanks for the video
I'm am excited to see your progress from the very beginning of this process :)

Hey get some hoss microboost! Add that to your tank! Stuff is amazing... although your plants look really good as is
Great system, have a beautiful week
Great video Daniel give us an update on the self wicking tubs
Thanks for the video. Nice setup. I''ve got to have one of these now... cha ching.
Hey Daniel I saw all the exact measurements of the fertilizer lol as always thank you for sharing your day and be safe on the interstate
Thank you. I was looking all over their channel on how to hook it up. I love their irrigation kits.
Hey Daniel, I was just looking at this very early this morning before you posted this video. So I was thrilled you posted a video on it. I do believe I will be purchasing this for my gardens too.
Thanks for sharing the information.
If I was still gardening this is something I would like to have..
Great info Daniel! Love you, your family & your videos..
Cool Beans, looks great I'll be talking it over with the wife and we may get a couple for our homestead/compound.

Thanks for sharing , garden is looking great.
Great Information 👍🤗💞
When water is coming out of the hose what is the ratio of fertilizer to water? How does one know how much fertilizer is being used?
Awesome Daniel!!! 👍👍👍😎
Year's ago I adapted the miracle glow system to my irrigation system.
You should have the tank completely full to insure the suction is maximum.

I am going to buy one !! Love it !!! What disk did you use with the 2lbs of 20 20 20 and did you have it on slow or fasr??

Don't forget about it and get a drink from your garden hose! hahaha
Don't use glyphosate in mixing pitcher before dissolving fertilizer in pitcher
Looks like that system would work good for a compost tea.
With this, do you have any concerns about backflow into the water source?
Thank you for this Daniel !
love your video as always
Which flow disc did you use please?
DIID U CONSIDER A BACKFLOW PREVENTOR ON YOUR WATER SYSTEM U. HOOKED THE FERTILIZER TO. ...?

Will this work with a soaker hose?
Great system...
I did not know hoss tools made that
Good to see ya! Wheres Houston?
Thanks for sharing.
I have the same tank, mine is not flowing I have 3 flow disc.
Okay so I could take the 'white' piece and attach it DIRECTLY to my house's Water Spicket and then attach the hose, exactly the way you showed us and just use my hose and whatever 'fixture' on the end of that I wanted, right?
I want some fried green maters... Dang it, I am going to have to it the farmers market this weekend.
How do I get a hold of Basically Travis? Wish you would have left Basically's number.
You're welcome

What is the psi of your water? I run 40psi on my well and wonder if this will work?
great video, I have a ton of worm castings and we also make all sort of compost teas do you think this system will work with my drip system?
Looks like a black widows web in the corner of that raised bed you showed. Check it out.

Nice's job helping people out 😇💯💥💢
Which color flow disc did you use
Have you tried Fox farms fertilizer?
How many square feet of garden are you feeding with one tank?
The Hoss Tools fertilizer tool seems simple to install and use. How often do you have to add more fertilizer? Very instructive and informative video. Thanks for sharing.
It takes a couple hours of flow to use up all of the fertilizer in the tank.
Your Hoss Tools link is broken
Could you tell me what brand of drip hose you use?
Awesome video

if you have all these animals and still use chemical fertiliser. I don't know who won't.
!;-)
Bbb
Firstttt
Do you still have animals ? That don't look easy ? You need to take the word easy out of that title lol
Love your channel....want you to make money but darn commercials killed it for me....
Well this video has only 1 ad....
