My favorite little bit in the movie is when Griffin Dunne witnesses the murder through the window, then deadpan says "I'll probably get blamed for that."
4:57 One of the films to comes to mind is ''The Night Before'' from 1988 with Keanu Reeves or hell even one of my personal favorite comedy's like ''Liecense To Drive'' and ''Adventures in Babysitting'' I put above this film. 9:02 To me he was the best part of that bad Madonna film ''Who's That Girl'' I enjoyed him in that film I also always remember him as Micheal Keaton's kid brother in ''Johnny Dangerously'' I think he was in one of the segments in ''Amazon Women On The Moon?'' as well I really wish he would've went on to become a bigger star he's such a good natuarl funny talent IMHO. 16:26-17:23 That bugs also all the gaps they didn't bother to fix in the script too. 19:20-19:50 Now that right there would've been a perfect ending I would've loved to have seen instead of the ending we ended up with. 20:35-20:48 Exactly brother! 21:34-21:58 Yep I could totally relate to Griffin's character in this film he is the main reason I never hated this film at all... but thanks to those gaps in the story it also makes me not love this film either. Awesome job on the review bro maybe I'll give this flick another try someday?👍👍
Oh yeah the night before I saw that once recently, that’s a pretty good comedy. I wonder what Keanu reeves has to say about that film since i doubt people bring up that film to him

The new release is by Criterion. Great release, I love it. This is my favorite MS film by far.
Nice job reviewing a cult classic and one of Scorsese's best.
Agree
After Hours is one of my favorite movies.🗽🌃 ⏰ You can see Martin Scorsese's parents at the coffee shop when Paul meets Marcy. 🇮🇹🇺🇸

Mystery Date with Ethan Hawke has that same vibe. It's also based on a board game 😂
@@MrDman21 Board game? I never knew that🤣🤣
@@JoeDredd2012 yep, it came out in the 60s I think.

I agree it’s one of Martin Scorsese’s best films and I agree on Griffin Dunne not doing a lot of stuff too.
This movie is the perfect example of "anything that can go wrong, will go wrong". It's what you call a dark comedy 😂
Enjoyed this since 12
I finally watched this a couple days ago, I was really enjoying it until the ending. The end just got too silly and stupid and went off the rails imo
I respectfully disagree
Did you see much similarities between this film and "Groundhog Day" (1993)?
