Hey Phil! I’m pretty sure that is not a decal. The offer additional purfling for their carved tops and I believe that’s what it is. Like they route it out as if it were an inlay and they put the purfling or binding in the route

The only problem with the influence bridge is that they collapse the gotoh saddle. The angle is too sharp. Put a flat edge on the saddle next string change, you'll see. It needs an abr-1 or something equivalent

If I remember correctly when you first started your channel, didn't you start doing something like this? You would review your guitar collection, I don't think you did it for to long, if I remember correctly. But I do enjoy it, so keep it going. I wonder how many years it would take before you run out of guitars, considering that there's 52 weeks in a year 🤔
why does anybody ever stop the inlays at the third fret? does anybody like that look better?

i had a very early serial number kenai for a while. best neck I've ever had but moved it along. got kind of bored of it
I love that guitar but there are 2 things that would make it better. 1 have the headstock painted to match. 2 you NEED to buy a 1956 Chevy Bel Air in seafoam green and Ivory to match!
That's a very cool guitar but for those kinds of prices I would want to see the wood. With the entire thing coated in opaque paint they could be using plywood under there and you'd never know. That's not a dig on Knaggs at all (I'm sure they'd never do that) just a personal preference. Some of the guitars on their site are gorgeous.
I like the retro painted finish. It matches the body shape better. When I see a Knaggs burst, it looks like a seasick LP, but this guitar looks really stylish.
