An ad showing everybody the RLSH. A special thanks to Peter Tangen for the photos! He worked hard on them and they turned out really nice. Made it all the easier to work with them!
A true hero doesn't care about the attention or spot light . Putting there life on line for someone that they don't even know. Without thinking about there own being...now that takes true courage and heart if I were to one day become a hero I wouldn't brag about it I'd just do it... bottom line you don't need a mask to be a hero just saying but hey if that floats your boat more power to ya
Yeah. I got stuck on that site for hours, reading about all these tropes I'd seen or heard about. They have some nice articles that can also help give writers good ideas for story writing and details on what to avoid if you want your story to be unique.
All of you could learn from these guys. Im pretty sure they think about getting killed all the time. But they are selfless enough to put their lives on the line for normal everyday people like you and me. I take my hats off to them.
So take a martial arts class, walk your friends home from work at night, do some charity work, organize a neighborhood watch, become a big brother/ big sister, maybe have a kid and do all you humanly can to be their own personal superhero, and at the end of the day, take pride in the fact that you, the true you, unmasked, uncostumed, and ungadgeted, is someone truly worth being, and worth being proud of--- a True Superhero.
A real life superhero doesn't dress up to do good, they remain themselves and do what they can to help. The lack of a mask is more anonymous than the mask itself.
The reason why no one does legitimate "superhero" job is because 1. You're essentially painting a target on your back. 2. You lack the necessary funds. 3. It would put friends and family potentially in danger.
It's not about the costumes, It's not about the attention it brings (reasoning why you hide identity), these people do what they do in such a unique way that not only is it a symbol of what you want to accomplish, but an appealing scene to many people to see a masked man in a get-up handing out toothbrushes and food to the homeless and together keeping the drug dealers away from street corners and parks. It a community service in the best way possible, not law enforcement. Thats what cops R 4.
I can't tell if the videos on these superheroes are even real. Sure there are news videos but I need someone else to confirm this because its so crazy, so cool, and so unbelievable, it can't be real.
@theresidentone *Society Also Batman/ Punisher as I said are Anti-Heros they don't posses Super powers which is what makes a Superhero. Punisher used Guns, and Batman was a Billionaire with a shit ton of equipment.
LOL so fucking hilarious as the first bit was beggining all dramatic a advertisement in the side was atalking about dishwashing and started so hilarious
I don't remember Superman or Batman ever killing any gangs of drug dealers. The traditional superhero doesn't kill. You're thinking of an anti-hero - someone who breaks the law to get the job done. Like the Punisher. Reducing yourself to murder is only making you just as bad as the people you're fighting.
@BrickLaya100 It's to get other ppls attention, for sure there are normal ppl who also had out food in just normal clothing, but the thing is, is that not many ppl take notice of them. Now while wearing a costume it gets other ppls attention, for sure they may look silly, they're just some comic book fanatics, but once they notice the deeds in which they are doing, then it makes them think twice about that person. Its more about the act of the person, than the outfit.
when superheroes where invented they where invented because people wanted to have kids believe in something at the time and the outfits where made to protect there identity because they had something worth hiding even if you don't have superpowers and even if he did the point is a hero is a person who does good things that others can't do like a cop so a superhero has to be able to do what cops can't do if you can't do that then there is no point and your just a guy in a suit
I know that there are superheroes that kill. They are usually referred to as anti-heroes. And you're thinking about comics from the Golden Age before they changed things. Nowadays, Superman and Batman don't kill. Batman won't even pick up a gun and Superman has an oath swearing to never kill (even suicide) or else he'll give up being Superman. Batman doesn't like to kill because it will make him no better than the people he's fighting and he might fall into that madness.
Thanks for seeing my point, but I'd like to state that an anti-hero is someone who is willing to break the law in order to stop the bad guy, which often includes killing. Anti-heroes are the superheroes who don't follow the same code of ethics that most of them have today. They are still superheroes, but just a little looser with the rules. There's an article about these things on the site "TV Tropes" which defines many of the writing techniques and tropes that the media often uses.
@theresidentone the existence of superheroes depends entirely on your definition of the term, you're trying to argue a point without defining it, and you're calling me a 3 year old? :)
Man I think for the most part, this is not the most best decision, but man did that look cool, where do I sign up is the name Doc.Chip chipperson still available? reminded me of the watchmen, but without the really really talented fighter to make up for the lack of powers or money for cool tech.
@christofthedead My definition of a Superhero would be most peoples idea of one: a superhuman strong/ possessing some kind of super power such as laser vision (i.e. laser beams shooting from their eyes like Cyclops from X-men), the power of flight, super speed (faster than light like the flash or w/e he was called) or super stretchy arms (Stretch Armstrong lol), these do not exist in reality. The only superhero I can think of who could exist in soicity is Batman/ Punisher both who are anti-heros
you obviously dont get the point of being a superhero. We know theres a risk, its not about worrying about our own safety, but to protect the people around us to the best of our ability.Call us stupid as much as you like, you cant stop all of us and neither will bullets, when one falls, theres ten more to take his place.
Mrsucks3000- sorry but they're real. I've seen them. They have REAL skill. They have REAL heart in their work. They're REALLY out to make a difference. Sorry but ill be honest right now and say that you have no right judging them. Judge yourself. Try it sometime. Don a costume and help someone or feed a homeless person. Do something instead of criticizing these heroes who take the time out of their day to help those around them and make a difference.
They can train but they arent ready right now, i can see they do not have the phsical training to handle a situation a real life super hero would have none of them do and i have done my research ok bud
Dude they should have trained on everything before introducing your a superhero and i see not many of them have any skill that would stop a burglar what so ever they need training that is harder than anyone's training and i dont see that on any of the RLSH right now
I will take your advice I am making a hero team, i need engineers, chemist, and skilled people age 14 and up interested the link for more info is here. us19.chatzy.com/77772593925822 But before you join you would have to train or already are trained.
Hey I'm 14 about to be 15 do you think I could be a part of this. I believe what you guys are doing is a great idea which will show so many people what the true meaning of "HERO" is.
Oh and for some of you dipsh!ts on here saying that they don't fight crime well they don't have to to be a hero they help homeless people and other things like that and some might actually fight crime but we know that we're not bullet proof thats why there are bullet proof vests and such stuff like metal armor to block knives and stuff like that but why hate on them? they are trying to do a good
Look, I love superheroes as much as the next girl, probably more even, but I think this "Real life superheroes" idea is a bad one. I have no problems whatsoever with going out, making your neighborhood safe, stopping crime, and trying to make the world a better place, as a matter of fact, I condone it. But I feel putting on a costume to do so is defeating the purpose entirely.
Fighting bad guys is only half of the battle. Helping the needy is the other side of being a superhero.
im proud of all these superheroes.
A true hero doesn't care about the attention or spot light . Putting there life on line for someone that they don't even know. Without thinking about there own being...now that takes true courage and heart if I were to one day become a hero I wouldn't brag about it I'd just do it... bottom line you don't need a mask to be a hero just saying but hey if that floats your boat more power to ya

we can all hope, this human world is falling apart without the guidence of heroes. Mask or not!
Face it, without them we are toast.
The world is big, therefor we need more!
All of you could learn from these guys. Im pretty sure they think about getting killed all the time. But they are selfless enough to put their lives on the line for normal everyday people like you and me. I take my hats off to them.
He wasn't super smart, he just had a lot of common sense and an incredibly keen detective mind
Building a better world, starts with building a better person.
If theyy really make this happen, i will love them forever
So take a martial arts class, walk your friends home from work at night, do some charity work, organize a neighborhood watch, become a big brother/ big sister, maybe have a kid and do all you humanly can to be their own personal superhero, and at the end of the day, take pride in the fact that you, the true you, unmasked, uncostumed, and ungadgeted, is someone truly worth being, and worth being proud of--- a True Superhero.
They have a promotional video? This is simultaneously awesome and hilarious!
It's actually from the Spider-Man films. Both of them were by Danny Elfman, though, so I can see (or hear) the similarities.
Yes. Absolutely.
" it's a bird, a plane? no! its a super hero who is a insurance salesman !"
A real life superhero doesn't dress up to do good, they remain themselves and do what they can to help. The lack of a mask is more anonymous than the mask itself.

thanks man !

I'm from Philippines😁
they don't want to give credit where it is due . don't let them lie to you. i master legend.
I can't tell if the videos on these superheroes are even real. Sure there are news videos but I need someone else to confirm this because its so crazy, so cool, and so unbelievable, it can't be real.
Cool. I'd like to write and/or illustrate comic books some day.
Awesome ..... RLSH rocks .
@theresidentone *Society Also Batman/ Punisher as I said are Anti-Heros they don't posses Super powers which is what makes a Superhero. Punisher used Guns, and Batman was a Billionaire with a shit ton of equipment.
I am Guardian Warrior a RLSH for life
Now we just need some super villians.
BEing a rlsh myself i cannot agree more with wat their doing
You guys bag on them when your whole life as a kid you said "MOM DAD I WANNA BE SUPERMAN OR BATMAN OR SPIDERMAN!"
But Batman was filthy rich, knew multiple fighting styles, and was super smart all those are classified as techniques except for the money. :D
This makes me want to be a super villain. Just saiyan.
Yeah, that's a pretty cool costume.
That can be done without the suit. Fighting crime is the only thing they do that requires a suit
They're mainly masked activists and very few crime fighters
LOL so fucking hilarious as the first bit was beggining all dramatic a advertisement in the side was atalking about dishwashing and started so hilarious
I don't remember Superman or Batman ever killing any gangs of drug dealers. The traditional superhero doesn't kill. You're thinking of an anti-hero - someone who breaks the law to get the job done. Like the Punisher. Reducing yourself to murder is only making you just as bad as the people you're fighting.
Holy shit! it's the real life justice leauge O.o AWSEOME, just hope if these guys are actually fighting crime that they will be safe

My personal opinion their not nearly trained enough.

Look, I love superheroes as much as the next girl, probably more even, but I think this "Real life superheroes" idea is a bad one.
