Monster that change the effect of another monster can effect unaffected monsters. It’s a ruling that came up with graphs fusion.
Well it's not that they can affect unaffected monsters, it's that changing the effect is somehow not considered affecting the monster.
@@hannessteffenhagen61 Because it directly changes the effect on the chain and does not change subsequent activations of the monster's effect if its not Once per turn.

Number 15''s effect specifies during Main Phase 1. That's why Jib couldn't do that play.

I had a salty Tenpai player at my locals get upset when he found out Lotus does in fact change the Tenpai effect even with the Field spell up. tbf I hate these kinds of ruling since if you read the cards you would think they wouldn't work. it just seems like one of those things that works because Konami says it works.
also just playing 8 handtraps at all is insane in that format. I guess they couldn't play the smaller Yubel package since Closed sky isn't in the tcg yet. (closed sky link2 makes it so you only play 1 of each of the yubels i.e. Spirit, OG Yubel and terror. since Opening of the spirit gates gets you to full yubel and fiendsmith combo and the sole reason should be playing Chaos summoning beast. without Closed sky that card is actually ass.)

Bystials and d.d. crows stop it. It's pretty obvious which ones to banish when they try to revive and if you stop 1 they can't ftk anymore.
Do Not let personal bias get in the way. It is still flimsy. Ash droll shifter did crow bysstials nibiru ghost ogre ghost belle spooky dogwood all stop the ftk even through field spell

game 1 ftk combo so inefficient lmao. no need to use any of those horus bodies. and game 2 if the player searched another terror baby off of chimera doll and used the extra NS from makina thats game there. why are these players so bad
idk if you play more than 1 baby so searching a 2nd is kinda impossible
You always have to play 2 Baby, 1 for NS and 1 for GY effect

Droplet will still be on your field when evenly resolves so no. Unless they mst your droplet

Chimera allows you to Special Summon a puppet after adding/discarding one from hand

You still have to clarify what that means. On the ygorganization database has a precedent for interactions like that which is dark world brainwashing vs master peace. The ruling for that interaction states that changing the effect is not treated as effecting the monster that activated.
The only difference is that dark world brainwashing targets and returns dark world monster to the hand before changing the effect of the opponent's monster.
Either way, the interaction with noir and in this video fall under a similar scenario. You cannot say that his understanding of the interaction is wrong and then give an example that you cannot even explain.
Edit: forgot to clarify that the ruling is that changing the effect is not counted as effecting the monster.
You say that but you fail to explain why grapha fusion works that way, and you even sound uncertain of the particular scenario because you say "or something."
The precedent for the ruling is the interaction of dark world brainwashing with master peace. The only difference between grapha and the trap is that the dark world trap targets and returns a dark world monster to the hand and then changes the effect of the opponent's monster that it activated in response to.

It is moments like these that will cause ppl to lose to the deck when they should not. Giant grinder is main phase one only. Doll cannot add back if sent from hand. Big differences when you face this deck.
Literally NOTHING you mentioned either mattered or is true. I caught the grinder thing immediately. Doll adding itself back game 2 changed nothing & chaos force was only added back by its own effect once. Makina is opt to summon itself and add back a rank up. Your maximum yapping rn
