It is especially popular in Turkey.
I don't Know about any famous kashmiri guy
It is Islamic male name and present all over Muslim countries

PR using three types of signal system as per traffic load,
1st heavy load route using computerized interlock system in Sindh & Punjab .
2nd medium load route using token less system.
3rd low traffic route using token system like that this video.
But unfortunately PR much more behind from latest technology due to unstability of railway ministry.
