    Ya'll acting like this product just came out while it was released November 2019...
    For $319 (after coupons via Amazon) that's a steal compared to the original price I've paid when released ($399)
    About to be two years as I'm still using this for outdoors and shiz, and it still preforms well.

    14:49 Oh boy. I can see the wobble while increasing the pressure sensitivity. This is a warning for my budget here.

    Sorry Gaomon, it really doesn't look a very "Pro". More like a entry level model. Good review, as always.

      You want a premium feeling for that price in that case go get a Cintiq if you wanna look “pro”

    I really wish tablet manufacturers dropped the octopus/3-in-1 cable stuff and used different ports like in the Veikk VK1560 Pro. I don't want to be unable to use my $400 tablet because a $5 cable broke and I have to wait for another one to arrive from China, even if everything is free under warranty.
    Also, the pen holder and stand look like Huion's.

      There's a funny irony with Chinese companies ripping off each other

    Any plans to review Gaomon PD1621? It has touch, 4k display, 15,6" , but I can find it only aliexpress so far. And zero reviews on youtube :(
    I'm interested to see the difference between Gaomon PD1621 and Xp pen Pro16TP, both are touch displays!

    My pd156 pro doesn’t have the same driver as yours and I can’t even pull up the display settings. There is no button for it. Are you sure you have the Pd156 pro? Or did gaomon just change the style and functions of this model?

    • @teohyc
      @teohyc  3 роки тому +1

      Maybe contact them for a different version of the driver.

    Isn't that the nature of textured screens, that the color and clarity would be affected?

    • @teohyc
      @teohyc  3 роки тому +3

      Yeah, but some textured screens affect image quality more. Unfortunately this is one of them.

    Would be great if you have a website and recommend which tablet is great for writing. I know the XP pen 15.6 pro is not good at writing. This tablet has great latency rate. Thanks.

    • @teohyc
      @teohyc  2 роки тому +1

      Try to get pen displays with less than 10ms of latency for handwriting

    • @sto2779
      @sto2779 2 роки тому

      @@teohyc Thank you for replying. I have checked many tablets and many does not not show it's latency rate. Can you recommend which display tablet is good for writing which does not have a built in PC or operating system? Thanks.

    • @teohyc
      @teohyc  2 роки тому +1

      @@sto2779 You can check Gaomon, XPPen and Huion pen displays

    • @sto2779
      @sto2779 2 роки тому

      @@teohyc Thank You for replying. I have decided with Gaomon. It seems to have better digitizer and lower latency implementation, all the reviews have parsed for it's pen accuracy and responsiveness. Huion is also a great option, but it's more expensive than older professional Wacom cintiqs such as the 21UX (3rd gen) and 22HD. For my max budget of $200 requiring precision and responsiveness needing a 16" to 22" display tablet, I am contemplating between a used Gaomon or used Wacom cintiqs on eBay. The used older Wacom cintiqs might not have great display, but it is super accurate and responsive.

    Do we have to buy photoshop or other drawing app in order to draw? I got this for my son but don’t know how to set up

      Photoshop is not free. Free apps I recommend are Medibang Paint, Krita, GIMP
